Old wallpaper keeps loading

Hello,
On startup, an old wallpaper (solid grey color) keeps loading on startup on Display 1 and the default OS X wallpaper loads on Display 2 even though I have specifically chosen a single directory for each monitor that contains the wallpapers that I'd like to use. The setting is currently set to rotate every 5 minutes in random order. After the initial startup and login, after a few minutes (perhaps 5 minutes), one of the wallpapers in the designated directory loads on each display as it should. My question is, why is it on login that I see old wallpaper selections? Why won't it start from the new directories instead?

Your desktop preference file may be corrupted. Go to /Users/you/Library/Preferences. Find com.apple.Desktop.plist and trash it. Then log out and log back in. Go to System Preferences -> Desktop and reset things the way you want.

If you have a decent mail provider like Microsoft Hotmail or Outlook.com mail it does.
If you have Gmail it does not. Quite right. Gmail is rubbish.

Keep seeing old wallpaper on startup/login

Almost every time I log in to my desktop, for a few seconds, I see an old wallpaper that I used a couple years ago. After a few seconds, it loads my current wallpaper. This is a little annoying, and worries me a little. I've changed my wallpaper several times since, yet this same picture from a couple years ago keeps popping up. Why is this happening? More importantly, what can I do to correct it?

Go to User>Library>Preferences>com.apple.desktop.plist and put the .plist in the trash and restart. Please post back with results.

It appears to be only 1 of my email accounts that does this. I have deleted the account and resynced to get it back in use, but 50 old emails come up as if they are new unread ones. I am having the same issue and it started the same day. My other mac does it as well but has been an issue for two years. I just gave up on it and stopped using email from that mac. I just spend 4 days trouble shooting ti myself when i had time and now spent 2 hours with apple on a chat and screen share and they couldnt solve it either.

Firefox keeps loading old tabs when restarting

Firefox keeps loading old tab when closed and a new Firefox was started. (My Startup home page is set to "restore to default". I even set sessionstore to 0 in about;config) Still same issue

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Wallpaper not loaded from external drive on system startup.

I have a lot of wallpapers and keep them on an external drive. However, after a restart they are not used, the default system wallpaper is loaded instead. (The external drive's partition appears long after the wallpaper should have been loaded.)
The same happens when I copy the pictures to a network drive, that is mapped automatically after logging in.

I did a test on my iMac with jpegs stored in a folder on my external drive. My drive is Firewire 800 but don’t think that should make a difference. Restarted the computer. A few moments after I had logged into the system, the external wallpaper photos displayed as expected. Not sure what to suggest. May not work, but you might go into System preferences and change your selection of wallpaper photos, close System Preferences, and then change back to what you want to see if that resets something.

Why does my iPhoto keep loading without opening?

My iPhoto will open, but when it does, no photos or anything will pop up but it will keep loading. And loading. Any ideas?

You should be able to log out of an account by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store and you can then log in with your new account.
Any content that you downloaded with your old account will remain tied to that old account, so only that account can potentially redownload them and/or download updates to its apps. You should be able to reset the password on an iTunes account via http://iforgot.apple.com e.g. by answering the account's security questions.

It used to seem alright before , suddenly when i opened an apps (AIRASIA - FLIGHT SEARCH) its keep loading and nothing appear after that. i do restart and try to open it with wifi but still not functioning.

Apps are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them. You will have to delete the apps from the phone and re-purchase them using your Apple ID.

When I touch my App Store, it starts Loading but won't open, just keeps loading.

Why App Store won't open? When tapped, it just keeps loading and loading. All other functions of iPhone work great.
