Hi All,
Can Anyone please answer the following questions regarding standard reports available with OLM and Workforce Intelligence. - Your response will be highly appreciated
1- What are the standard reports available within OLM - i.e reports available through Learning Administrator Responsibility.
2- What is Workforce Intelligence?
3- Is it different from Daily HR Intelligence?
4- What reports are available through Workforce Intelligence? How can we access these reports?
5- How can we integrate Workforce Intelligence reports into Daily HR Intelligence dashboard?

no standard report is available but you cancustomise the scope of list of your own and that you can use in ME2L and ME2M
with the help of T-code OLME -- reporting and then scope of list
or you can fetch the data from tane EKKO

You may check the following:
1. If its scope of list, you may check the configuration: OLME - Reporting - Maintain Purchase Requisition Lists - Define Default Values for Transactions.
2. If its Plant / Purchase Org/Company code etc, you may check the parameter ID maintained for the user profile in SU3.
3. Transaction Variant in SHD0 as explained by Mr. Mukesh.

ALV Grid Display for ME2N, ME2L

Hello,
We have a requirement where we want the ALVGrid Display for ME2N, ME2L. When we list these in excel file it comes in very scattered manner.
Client is looking for PO report similar to ME80FN with credit terms, GR Info etc.. I believe ECC 6.0 have ALV Grid in standard, else this can be incorporated thru OLME --- > Reporting ---> Scope of List and does not require query but I am not sure how to achieve it.

In the selection screen of ME2N or ME2L, if you will select ALV in the field SCOPE OF LIST, u will get the report in ALV format.
To default the SCOPE OF LIST in any transaction code from BEST to ALV, please follow the below path in SPRO:

Custom Report - OLM

Dear Friends
I am novoice to OLM module, we have requirement from client to develop a custom concurrent report. 'Course Wise Attendance Report'. Could Please guide me in this.
1. How to enroll the employees in the course
2. How to mark attendance
3. How to mark employees in waiting list
4. How employees are moved from waiting list to course attend list.
5. How to create external learner
6. What are the tables in OLM
I have gone through the Oracle OLM User guide, its bit complicate to understand. so if you guys have any documents to go through OLM module (User guide, Setup Doc), please forward.

Hi Partha,
In order to use and work with OLM you need a baseline of skills.
Primarily you get these skills by reading the User Manual. If this is not enough I suggest you seek out formal training.

Archiving OLM catalogs and associated classes, courses, offerings and enrollment histories

Hi,
As a comoany continues to use OLM, the catalog will expand and cause space constriants as a result.
I am curious to hear how other clients handle archiving of vintage catalog objects and enrollmets and histories in OLM. Is there a tool that could be used?
A workaround to get this done?

Hi!
It is possible to use the APIs or third-party extensions to archive Catalog objects, but typically the enrollment information is not purged from the database itself. I have not seen environments where having this historic information has caused an issue with space constraints, even with decades of data. Deleting enrollment information would cause data integrity issues with Learner transcripts and could pose a problem with reporting.
If you're interested in just archiving Catalog objects such as Learning Paths, Courses, Offerings, Classes, Forums, and Chats so that they do not clutter the main view of the Catalog, my company offers a package of clean-up extensions. These extensions work together to:
Allow Administrators to tag Catalog items that should be archived
Offer recommendations on which items should be end dated and moved to an archive folder based on the last time they were accessed
Archive Catalog objects that have been tagged for archiving, along with all of their children by end dating them and/or moving them to a designated archive directory

Seeded Reports

Hi,
Are there any samples available to show the concurrent program seeded reports available with OLM?
I'm specifically looking for an example of the Attendance and Signature Sheet Report, Registration Report, and Student Sign-in Sheet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Failing to call report with envid in cgicmd.dat

I am trying to use the envid parameter in my cgicmd.dat file but I can’t get it to work with the REPORTS_PATH environment variable. This is on Solaris with Oracle 10G.
I have a report called activityreport.pdf in the directory /olm/carefirst/test92exec.
When I run the Oracle Reports Paper Report Tester with these parameters:
Reports Server rep_sunbox36_FRHome1
Report activityreport.pdf
DB connect string <id>/<pwd>@<instance>
DesType cache
DesFormat     PDF
Other Parameters     envid=test92
I get these errors:
REP-110: Unable to open file 'activityreport.rdf'.
REP-1070: Error while opening or saving a document.
REP-0110: Unable to open file 'activityreport.rdf'.
When I run it with these parameters:
Reports Server rep_sunbox36_FRHome1
Report /olm/carefirst/test92exec/activityreport.pdf
DB connect string <id>/<pwd>@<instance>
DesType cache
DesFormat     PDF
Other Parameters     envid=test92
It works.
In $ORACLE_HOME/reports/conf we have a file called rep_sunbox36_frhome1.conf which includes these lines:
<environment id="test92">
<envVariable name="REPORTS_PATH" value="/olm/carefirst/test92exec;"/>
</environment>
Is it significant that the Reports Server is called rep_sunbox36_FRHome1 (upper case FRH) & the config file is called rep_sunbox36_frhome1.conf (lower case FRH)? (I’ve renamed the file to lower case and I got the same errors so I’m assuming not).

Check if REPORTS_PATH is set in the file $ORACLE_HOME/bin/reports.sh

For engines used by the standalone server, the order of precedence for environment variables from highest to lowest is as follows:
reports.sh (UNIX only)
environment element in the Reports Server configuration file
So, if REPORTS_PATH is set in reports.sh, the value define in "environment element in the Reports Server configuration file" will not be taken into account ...

Lo más cómodo para volcar a fichero los datos que contiene la tabla en forma de array de 2 dimensiones consistiría en cablear su salida a la entrada del VI "Write to Spreet File". No obstante, intuyo que quieres generar un informe con un formato determinado. En ese caso, creo que una posibilidad consistiría en crear una plantilla en MSWord y utilizar su servidor ActiveX para insertar los datos donde corresponde realizando las pertinente llamadas desde LabVIEW. Si dispones de "Report Generation Toolkit" puedes volcar los datos en MSWord de manera más sencilla.

Hello Gurus,
I have developed a BI report with more number of parameters.
Case 1:
When i run my report , I am able to see data for particular condition but one column doesn't show any thing. All the rows in the column are blank.
Case 2
I tried to put the blank column as parameter, The Program works with out displaying that column data.
I am not sure where it is going wrong. I tried running the code in toad and i am able to see the data.
I have checked the code, Parameter description, length, Template and data definition.
Please help.

For that column did u changed any alias name in the query...
check ur template once by loading the xml data...
check that column form field that matches with the xml tag or not..

Open and cancelled Quote Report

Can anyone give me the information for getting open and cancelled Quote Report?

I hope you are using reason for rejection for cancelling quotations. If that is the case, you can use transaction VA25 to view the list of quotations. Here you can filter on two columns status and reason for rejection to view the report as per your requirement.

Print Quote Report

Hi All,
I have a requirement to develop the custom print Quote Report. When i review the standard pring quote report ,I found a call like <?call-template:TermsTemplate?>.
This statment itself is getting all the Terms and Conditions for that report. when i looked in the ASOPRTXSL.xsl, I see the below statement

<xsl:call-template name="PrintContractTerms"/>
</xsl:template>
I am pretty new to XSL, dont know what's happening here. Please help me ASAP

XML Quote report

We have a problem with our XML Quote report that cuts off the report at 26 pages when it should go to about 200 pages.
We have another report the Acknowledge Quote and it works fine.

Finally we found the solution for this problem.
1. Open qotSCocPrint.jsp and add below line inside <SELECT id="qotOutFrmt" name="qotOutFrmt"> statement. This line should be added after "for" loop.
<OPTION value="EXCEL">Excel Format</option>
We can add as many options the XML Publisher supports.
2. Decompile oracle.apps.aso.print.webui.MainCO.class (Controller).
Change the below line
httpservletresponse.setContentType("application/pdf");
to
httpservletresponse.setContentType("application/"+quoteOutputFormat.toLowerCase());
Take a backup of the original file, compile the java in the same directory.
3. Decompile oracle.apps.aso.print.server.PrintQuoteAMImpl.class and change this line
Field field = class2.getDeclaredField("OUTPUT_TYPE_PDF");
to
String outputFormat="OUTPUT_TYPE"+as[12].trim();
Field field = class2.getDeclaredField(outputFormat);
Bounce Apache and generate the Quote output in desired format.

Same EPM Excel Report takes time to open and refresh on 1 system while it opens and refreshes faster on other system

Hi All ,
I am facing an issue where the EPM Excel Templates on SERVER ROOT FOLDER take time to open on 1 system . It also takes great amount of time to REFRESH . While on an another system the same Report opens rather quickly and refreshes also quickly .
