    Hang on...
You can only authorise the songs you purchase from the iTunes Store to play on five computers.
You can download and install iTunes (the iTunes programme) onto as many computers as you wish.
    Two different things.
Assuming therefore, that your problem is that you have authorised five computers, but now no longer have some of them, you need to de-authorise all your computers and then re-authorise the computers you still have.
To de-authorise your computers, go to your account in the iTunes Store and look for the Deauthorise All button.

  • Deleting pictures uploaded from my camera

I used my iPod camera connector and uploaded pictures to my iPod while on vacation and now I have them in iPhoto, my problem is deleting them from my iPod now. When my iPod is connected to iTunes the only option available is to add/delete photos that are from iPhoto not to delete photos that I uploaded from my camera. Does anyone know how to do this???

Connect the iPod, in the summary screen click on the "photos" tab.
Remove the check mark from "sync photos". You will then see a message asking you to confirm.
Click "yes", then click "apply" (bottom right corner).
However this will remove all the photos on the iPod.
If you just want to delete selected ones, you can remove the photos from the folder with which they are synced.
    This is an option.
Create a new folder and give it a recognizable name (e.g. iPod photos).
Drag (or copy) your photos into this new folder.
Connect your iPod and open iTunes and when the summary page appears, click on the "photos" tab.
Under "Synchronize photos from" choose "Selected albums" and select the new folder you created and click on "OK".
Then you can just add and remove photos to and from that new folder as you wish.

  • May I receive resolution 640*480 in image LV from WEB-camera

    Hello all
    I have

    I received
    the image from WEB-camera.
    WEB-camera
has resolution 640*480 but I have resolution in the Image of LV -  320*240.
    May I

    Hello,
I assume you have to change the settings of the camera and not the code in LabVIEW...
Just in case, see the attached code in LV 7.1.1 that allows to change the image resolution.
    Hope this helps

  • Hit Counter button not appearing when I upload the web site.

I am using iWeb version 3.0.4 on OS 10.6.8, and on the Welcome page, I added the Hit Counter button.  When I upload the web site, the Hit Counter button does not appear.  Anyone have any solutions as to why it isn't appearing?  Thanks...

Where are you hosting the site? The counter will not work on ftp servers, only on MobileMe.  If you are hosting on MobileMe increase the footer height considerable and publish. If the counter then appears you can move it closer to the body/footer border and reduce the footer height.
If you're not on MobileMe consider a 3rd party counter like StatCounter.  This tutorial describes how to add it to iWeb pages: #13 - Adding a StatCounter as an HTML Snippet
If you're on MobileMe you know that MMe will be discontinued on June 30 of next year.  This may be of interest: #23 - Life After MobileMe

  • Why is photo booth giving a message saying no camera attached when it has a web cam? it did work okay when I bought the computer six months ago?

Why is "photo booth" giving a message saying "no camera attached" when it has a web cam? it did work okay when I bought the computer six months ago?

I have already copied my photographs to the a library manager but when I tried to reuse iphoto and import the photos back into iphoto, it would not let me.
You can't "copy" your photos to the "library manager", there is just no way to any such thing.
    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

  • Corrupted image in applet from web cam

Hi there I created a little webcam server application that listens to port 8080 for requests, then displays an image. The image is jpeg encoded frame grabbed from a logitech web cam using the java media framework. I got the code from this forum.
I have tried it across a 56kb modem on four different computers. On three the applet displays the images without problems. On the fourth the image is corrupted like it didn't receive all the data.
Anyone have any idea why this occurs in one and not the others

    Hi,
I don't know how to solve this problem,
but I want to ask you how you managed to get
    FrameGrabbingControl which is not null.
I use Logitech QickCam and everytime when I try to get a FrameGrabbingControl from the Player it returns me null?
    Can you help me?
have you any ideas why I get null?
WebCamLocator - is OK. If I can use it to record a video clip. But I can't take a single frame..
    Manager.setHint( Manager.LIGHTWEIGHT_RENDERER, new Boolean(true) );
    Player WebCamPlayer = Manager.createRealizedPlayer(WebCamLocator);
    WebCamPlayer.start();
    FrameGrabbingControl fgc = (FrameGrabbingControl)WebCamPlayer.getControl("javax.media.control.GrabbingControl");
    Buffer buf = fgc.grabFrame();

  • Video Streaming on Web Browser from Web Camera

How to run Web Camera on to the Web Browser through JAVA and JMF?

How to run Web Camera on to the Web Browser
through JAVA and JMF? As someone who has written dozens of applets, and
helped debug hundreds of them, I can tell you that
    applets are not for beginners.
Whenever I must have an applet that is any more
than completely trivial, I will code it as a combined
application/applet, if only for making testing faster
    and easier.
Further, if you have a working application, it can be
'launched from a link', just like an applet, but using
    web start.
I suggest you put aside the applet idea for the
moment, and concentrate on doing this in an
    application.
When that is working, you can decide whether
to launch it using web start, or embed it as an
    applet in a web page.
Here is an example of launching JMF (the
    player) using web start.
    http://www.javasaver.com/testjs/jmf/#test5
As far as coding for a web cam, a quick Google leads to..
"Here is the source code to JMF Webcam app + saves jpeg"
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=247253
    2 notes:
    1) I found that URL for the web cam code using
Google. I have never dealt with web cams myself.
    2) Normally I ignore threads with no dukes. I am
usually pretty busy, and dukes indicate how
important a thread is - to whoever is asking.
So, if you want to complete this task faster, you might
    - search for answers first.
    - add dukes to any question, to indicate interest.

  • Can't find Pictures I just uploaded from my camera

I uploaded new pictures from my camera to iPhoto11. They were there!! My wife even edited the photos. We tried to see them later, and the event was not there, and they didn't even show up as the last import. I tried to import them into my iphoto library because I could see they existed when I searched for things done today. The message said that I could not do it because they were already in my iphoto library. This is where it said they are " Users/trenk21/Public/iPhoto Library/Previews/2010/11/21/20101121-192612/P1040523.jpg"
After speaking to a friend, I just downloaded the software update for iPhoto 11, but that doesn't help me with these photos.
How do I get these photos back into my library where I can see them, and use them?

i have exactly the same problem. uploaded pictures showed up in iphoto and after closing iphoto they disappeared. they were uploaded directly from the sd-card.
when i try to import downloaded pics in iphoto i have the same problem, they show up but aber closing iphoto and starting it up again they are gone!
this means i cant import any pictures to iphoto at all!

  • Duplicate photos - I get two everytime I upload from my camera

    Hi all,
I've seen a variety of posts about duplicate photos in iPhoto and I am a bit confused. We have thousands of photos on our iMac in different user accounts. I know some are duplicates as various family members want their "copy" in their account. I would think we could put them in a "Shared" folder or some such but don't know how as yet. Anyway, the main question is, when I upload photos from my digital camera I get to files on my iMac. One is a large file and the other is like a 320x640. I assume iPhoto is generating a thumbnail and a full size as two separate files? Why???? Does it need both to function? I deleted some of the smaller files and then found they don't show up in the events folder anymore. Anyway, I need help managing my photos for sure. Thanks for the help and patience with a new iMac user.

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
I assume iPhoto is generating a thumbnail and a full size as two separate files? Why????
It's the nature of the beast. The thumbnail file is an essential part of the library for viewing as smaller sizes than full size. By deleting them you've committed the cardinal sin of iPhoto - modifying the contents of the iPhoto Library package from the package.
You may be able to rebuild the thumbnail file by launching iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed to rebuild the library. Select all options.

Then searching around a bit - found a process called "image capture". Not sure what the difference is - but when I use that icon to find my pictures...I'm getting about 1/2 way there...in that - for some reason while it will find and save SOME of my pictures from my camera/memory card - it seems to pick & choose which ones....and then I get an error message saying some of the jpgs were unreadable. But they are all jpgs on my camera ??? Help. Frustrated!! I want to use the iphoto editing software since it's much better than snapfish or others available and then order prints on line...but can't seem to get ALL the pictures I need.
    Thank you!

Hi BDAqua - thanks for the update link for Graphic Converter. I'll be sure to give that a try. I do have the camera plugged in versus running on battery...and the MAC plugged in too. My camera is a Casio Exilim 10.1 mpixels. Any idea if that's making a difference? This last time I plugged the camera in...it downloaded the pictures but then I had to "select all" and import to library as a second step. And the video on how the iphoto is suppossed to recognize and pretty much automatically import your photos doesn't seem to be occurring as easily or quickly as implied in the video.
So I'll give the GraphicConverter a spin and see if that works better. Any tips on usage...and is it just the method to upload....but from there, I still use iphoto to store them in the library, etc? (told you I was green with all this stuff!) Thanks too for the warm welcome!
