You are totally wrong... the fact it works with Windows does not mean that it's not Motorola's fault. In facts, if you think correctly:
- Mac OS X has no such problems with all other bluetooth devices/phones
Motorola only did check that his phone worked in Windows (if not, they wouldn't have released it). This means that Windows seems tolerant to whatever bug the Motorola phone has. This is quite typical... lots of other devices have hard bugs that were never discovered by their manufacturer because their only test bed is one peer: Windows, which has bugs too.
This does not mean that Apple can't do anything: Apple will have to understand what the bug is and why Windows does not trigger the bug then try to workaround it. Apple already does that kind of stuff in its system. This is a good short term policy (to make the user happy) but a pretty bad one long term as that means that Apple has to put lots of "hacks" throughout the system to "mimic" Windows bugs.
You should complain to Motorola not having a more robust testing process.

I asked my experts about your question. On the client side we support this. We cannot support digest passwords on the server side. We save passwords in hashed format on the server side. To support digest passwords, the client would either need to send the password in clear text so that the digest can be calculated or the server would have to store the password in clear text, so that the digest password can be calculated. From a security standpoint these are questionable ideas. Either an eavesdropper is picking up the passwords from the traffic or the attacker who breaks the server suddenly has all the passwords in clear text.
You can modify the method VERIFY_USERNAME_TOKEN, but if an upgrade comes along that changes this package, you'll be prompted for a correction import. Then you will either have to skip the upgrade or lose your customization.

You can't assume that Apple isn't making plans with Mobile Vikings to add them as a carrier. You can only wait and see.

AIR 3.9.1030 Still Not Support iOS 7 Icons

Hi,
After all the discussion in the beta and here about this, it still looks like to me that the latest released build STILL does not support the new icon sizes 76x76, 120x120, & 152x152. If you look at the AIR_Descriptor.3.9.xsd schema file, it clearly is missing these definitions, and as a result, people using IDE's like Intellij won't be able to compile there project because it will error out. I thought this was fixed?

Could you use AIR 3.9 release AIR SDK from   http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html try again? following SDK/templates/air/descriptor-template.xml file 76x76, 120x120, & 152x152. had suppored.
Please refer to revelant tag in /descriptor-template.xml file.

Recent air sdk (air 4.0 beta) is still not support xxhdpi

my application is set applicationDPI = '320'. and is working well in hdpi, xhdpi etc devices...
but new devices like galaxy S4 is 1920x1080 xxhdpi.
air 3.9, and this 4.0 version is not support that dpi, then my app layout is still broken.
this bug is fixed on Apache Flex SDK. so I used that sdk. but i want official adobe air sdk. is have adobe plan of resolving this?..

On which platforms is Java6 SDK still not supported?

Is there some up-to-date document that gives an overview of which version of Java is available where? It seems Java5 has reached its end of service life, but then, people keep telling me that some Mac/Apple platforms still do not have Java6 available on them - which would mean that any project that should run an as many platforms as possible would still be compatible with Java5.
So does anyone know the facts on Java6 support on Macs and is there some place where one can keep track of which version is compatible with what platform?

Tuxera Version That Comes with HDTC705XK3A1 Does Not Support on Install on MAC OSX 10.9.2

The Tuxera version pre-installed (2012.3.6) on my hard drive does not support Mac OS X 10.9.2
I first looked at the support site and it says there isn't any updates for drivers & software for the Toshiba 500GB Canvio Connect Portable Hard Drive (HDTC705XK3A).
I am on OSX 10.9.2 and would like a working copy of Tuxera to use with my new Toshiba drive. Please advise where I get the updated version. Going to Tuxera requires buying a copy of the software.

I have the same problem after an upgrade to my iMac. Fortunitely, a wWindows machine will read your drive. I also have a new Macbook Pro with 10.9.3 on it and it loaded Tuxera correctly. Not sure why it works on one not the other. I wnet through the following steps:
After I upgraded my iMAC to Maverics, I could not see my NTFS drives in finder or on the desktop. I could see my NTFS drives in Disk Utility but they were grayed out and are not accessible. I could boot the iMac in Windows and have access to all of my NTFS drives.
I tried reinstalling the latest version, 2013.2, downloaded from your web page. I can see my NTFS drives but could not write to them. I then got the following message when the system started up, "invalid product key". When I opened Tuxera from the system preferences page I get the following message on the Activation page, "Current status: Invalid product key. Limited performance mode." I have tried reloading Texura from the Toshiba drive, but the process doesn't complete the last step.
As a last step, I uninstalled Tuxera and can not reinstall it. I get the message "The Tuxera NTFS for Mac installer could not detect your Toshiba External HDD. Please attach it to your Mac and run the installer again. I'm running the installer from the Toshiba drive so the installer should detect it.
Please note, I have a new Macbook Pro that came with Mavericks and I loaded Tuxera from the same Toshiba drive. It has no problems writing to it. The upgrade to Mavericks caused the problem.

Olympus epl-1 Raw files not supported?

I recently purchased an epl-1 olympus camera. I am running 10.6.5 anh have all the updates through update software. I am using aperture 2.1.4. Aperture is not recognizing the orf files. do I need to get Aperture 3.x to recognize these.
also when I import pictures and have raw and jpeg setting on camera does aperture import jpeg and raw or just raw.

Olympus E-20P RAW is (not) supported?

The Olympus E-20P Digital SLR is listed by Apple, but RAW doesn't work for me. The finder and image capture will preview the images, but import always fails even though I have 10.4.5 and a brand new iPhoto6 installed - both legal and paid for. Has anyone else tried this?

Latest Prelude CC Update - GoPro Files Still Not Supported?

Hi Forums,
I just updated my Prelude CC software. It claims it now offers support for GoPro files. However I'm ingesting those files and they still won't work with it (.mp4). Anyone else having this issue? Maybe the software is just fine and it's something on my end?

I'm not having any problems. Just Ingested 32 Gigs of Go Pro 1080P-30pfs footage without any problems
I'm running with a Hero 3 Black edition with the latest firmware.
I did copy all of the MP4 Files to an external drive using a USB 3.0 card reader prior to doing the ingest and tagging. I don't copy over any of the other files on the disk either. Just the MP4 Files.
Don't know if that makes a diffrence.

It may be that the audio has been encoded in a format that your phone is not able to play. When you transcode a video, make sure that the audio track has been encoded in one of the following formats: AAC, AAC+, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, AU, AWB, HE-AAC v2, M4A, MP3, MP4, WAV, WMA, WVE. For maximum compatibility, I would go stereo AAC or MP3.

Is ReFS on External (e.g., USB) Drives Still Not Supported in Win 8.1?

I've been running an internal disk drive on ReFS under Windows 8.1 since late last year, and have had nothing but perfect operation from it.
I know that originally, when Win 8 came out, it was not possible to format an external USB drive to ReFS. It would clearly be a good choice, given that an external drive might be more prone to taking on errors than an internal one.
I was just wondering whether the restriction might have been lifted in Update 1, and an external drive can now be formatted ReFS. I am going to try when I get a little time, but I was just wondering if anyone's already braved the territory.

Follow up:
Upon a reboot after updating some other software, the system did not come back up right with the "MiniNT" registry tweak listed above.
Some problems noted:
1. Drive letter H: ended up assigned to my System Reserved partition instead of the USB drive, which could not be seen.
2. Some applications failed to start with messages like "The procedure entry point _ftol2 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\comdlg32.dll".
3. The system had trouble accessing the event logs with error -50.
4. CHKDSK showed some problems on drive C:, but could not correct them.
Removal of the MiniNT key restored proper operation, and the ReFS formatted drives are still available.
Make SURE you remove the "MiniNT" key after formatting is complete if you use the tweak at the WinAero site to enable ReFS formatting.

Does Monitor still not support reading accounting files?

Since GroupWise 8 my monitor does not process any gateway accounting
files. In GroupWise 7 this was a great feature - ecspecially if you
want to do some advertizing why the monitor is so helpful.
There is only one very old TID telling us has been reported to
developement. Reporting is not enough - pls fix it.

Still not supporting relative size of objects?

Hi everybody!
Am I blind? Just downloaded and installed iWork '09, hoping they added the possibility to adjust the size of objects like pictures in a relative manner, finally.
Let's say, you have some screenshots for creating a documentary. All of different sizes. You want all of them to appear in your Pages document at 50 % of their original size. How can you manage this? I still didn't find a way for this simple task.
Have I really to use Word for Pages can't help me with this?
