OM Infotype change log Tracking

Hello Experts,
I have a requirement to write a custom Interface program to track the changes in OM infotype. This custom Interface will be run daily to track the changes in OM infotype if any on daily basis.
I know i can use AEDTM (Changed on) date field to track the changes but this will not be able to cover all possible scenarios. This date (AEDTM) does not get updated in SAP when an infotype is delimited. So such scenarios will be missed if i use AEDTM.
I have certain function modules which can be used to track the changes in PA infotype. But I am not able to find any function module or class or related object which can track the changes in OM infotype.
If any one of you have any idea or suggestion on this, Kindly help me.

you can mention object type, table and fields for which change pointers can be activated.
So you mean I need to maintain the OM infotypes 1000, 1001, 1005, 1010, 1610 and 1641 (these are OM infotypes we need to track for changes) and all their fields in this message type view. How does the change pointer gets activated by maintaing this. Can you please brief me about this process.
then I believe you should be able to design and create a program that checks these change pointers in a batch job and transfers data
Can you pls brief me how this can be achieved through a custom program. May be u can share the Inputs from your technical teammate who has designed the program for you.
I will also discuss with my functional counterpart about this solution.

How to delete HR Infotype Change log

Hi,
I would like to know if there are any means to delete the HR infotype change log. I've already executed the standard program RPUDELPN to delete all the employee records every time an environment is refreshed from the production image, however both the long term and short term infotype change log can still be access. I need to remove those change logs as well to prevent unauthorized access to these confidential data.

Thanks. However, I'd like to know if I can delete the change documents that were already logged.
My scenario is that in production environment, we have turn on the logging and change documents are already created. Now we have refresh the development environment with the production images, so I've to delete all the employee records as well as the change documents in order to prevent unauthorized access to these confidential information.
The standard program RPUDELPN already delete all the employee records but not the change documents. Where and how can I delete both the long and short term document as well?

Why the creation of a infotype is not traced by infotype change log report?

Hello Experts,
I triggered the trace of IT655 change for infotype auditing report RPUAUD00. But I found out if just create the infotype with a certain start date without changing any field, this creation cannot be picked up by the report. Is this normal or not? What else I can do to trace the creation also?

Allan - We are having a similar issue with Events (0000) infotype? Did you apply note 44206 in your system?
If you applied the note, did the developer implement the changes to the 2 Standard SAP programs (per note 44206)?
If you didn't apply the note, how did you resolve the issue of the trace within the infotype?

Infotype Changes Log Report

Hi,
I’m trying to trace the changes made infotypes using the report RPUAUD00, if some changes made in the Infotype 0000, 0001, 0002 then the changes are not traced in report. I have checked the viewV_T585A,V_T585B,V_T585C .
I need to know why the changes are not reflecting in the report...

The last changed date for the infotype 0002 of the pernr is not displayed in the report.

Tracking Order Changes - Use of Change Log

Folks,
One of requirements I have is to track changes done to a sales order. The user wants to know anything (every field) that has been changed on an order compared to the previous sales order record. I think I can use the change log to do this but not sure if it tracks changes of all fields. Following are the questions I need to confirm
Can the change log used to meet this requirement?
Does the change log track the changes to every field on a sales order including the user defined custom fields?

How to capture - Custom tables change log

Hi,
I need to maintain the change logs for Cutom tables. But, my custom table contains the fields with data type DEC. So, i am getting the record as "####" for DEC fields.
These values, i have captured in Table Maintenance generator Flow Logic Editor - In the loop of EXTRACT or TOTAL.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
MODULE LISTE_EXIT_COMMAND AT EXIT-COMMAND.
MODULE LISTE_BEFORE_LOOP.
LOOP AT EXTRACT.
ENDLOOP.
So, can you please help me to find the solution?

Every ODS object is represented on the database by three transparent tables:
Active data: A table containing the active data (A table)
Activation queue: For saving ODS data records that are to be updated but that have not yet been activated. The data is deleted after the records have been activated.
<b>Change log: Contains the change history for delta updating from the ODS Object into other data targets, such as ODS Objects or InfoCubes for example.</b>
An exception is the transactional ODS object, which is only made up of the active data table.
The tables containing active data are constructed according to the ODS object definition, meaning that key fields and data fields are specified when the ODS object is defined. Activation queue and change log are the same in the tables structure. They have the request ID, package ID and the record number as a key.

Position Budgeting and Control ->Automatic Commitment/Budget Creation ->Basic Settings ->Activate Recording of Financing Relevant Infotype Changes ->Define Relevant Object Types for Change Log
Here, you can define the object types for which you want to monitor the changes
Position Budgeting and Control ->Automatic Commitment/Budget Creation ->Basic Settings ->Activate Recording of Financing Relevant Infotype Changes ->Define Infotypes Relevant for Change Log
Here, you can define the infotypes that you want to monitor.
Finally, make sure the change log is activated at the below step
Position Budgeting and Control ->Automatic Commitment/Budget Creation ->Basic Settings ->Activate Recording of Financing Relevant Infotype Changes ->Activate Change Log for Infotypes

Track Changes log of a specified Standard Text?

Hello Experts,
Am looking to develop a report (change log report) for standard texts, for example, (pls. note all input parameters of this standard text are same)
Yesterday the user entered the standard text as
This is yesterdays standard text
And again user has changed today it to
This is todays standard text
Pls. let me know that is there any standard transaction to track these changes log? is there any table (seems STXH, STXL are not helps me) to store these changes? how can i retrive all these changes for a specified stanrd text?

I never heard of a tracking feature for standard texts - standard sapscript texts must be an add on SAP took from any non-SAP development and never integrated well. So you have to change documents for them or the pool tables where they are stored.
If only some texts and only special changes are in question, you may create a special program that stores a copy of the text and compares the copy to the actual text in a recurring job.
No better idea, sorry.

E-Recruitment - Requisition - Infotype Field Level Change Log

Hi Experts,
We are implementing SAP E-Recruitment, and would like to know how to capture the changes made in Requisition at infotype field level.
For example: If a support team member is added/delete in the Requisition (Tab - Support Team), then these changes (NEW/DELETE) at the infotype field level are required.
I have tried to maintain the infotype and the required fields in V_T582A, V_T585A, V_T585B and V_T585C. But didnt get any result when I executed the report RPUAUD00. Is there any additional configuration required for this?

You can just to that with the infotype table log. Support team is stored in table HRP5131.

Log HR infotype changes without a Mod like Change Documents

We need some help with a requirement. We need to monitor HR infotype changes. We would like to be able to trigger a event like a change pointer and IDOC. However, we are trying to stay away from mods to our system. We are needed fields from 0000,0001,0003,0006,0105. Most of the fields do not have Change Documents set and would required us to create a mod to flag the data elements. We also tried to trigger and monitor these changes in ZXPADU02 until we realized that once we get to 0003,0006,0105 in zxpadu02 we don't know what the person is inserting in that specific infotype, because the exit function module does not bring in information on changes to those infotypes. We would really like to be able to trigger off of a event without creating a mod. We would like to not have to run a program to read the logging files because we like the responsiveness and real time actions of triggering and not running a periodic program. We are trying to push these changes out of SAP.

Have a look at HRMD_A05 this idoc type can transport the infotypes you mentioned and of course you can activate change pointers for that in bd50 (message type hrmd_a)

Tracking change log by workstation ID along with username

Hi All users,
I am using SAP business one 8.8 and want to track changes in the system in such a way that along with user name I want to know, from which workstation (or PC) the user has made changes or created any document? Every PC has its unique IP or ID, can I see this in change log in any way? that from which workstation or client PC, the user has made changes?

Thanks for your reply, Actually I need only workstation ID along with user name when tracking transaction log from the tools option "change log".
I am calling it workstation ID, but you can tell me about any thing from which I can track, from which client or PC the user made any transaction. Whether It gives me computer IP or computer name or any identity of PC by which I can know which PC (among server and clients) is used by user to make any transaction.

Just in case you aren't already aware of it..
If you are on ECC6, you can enhance almost any Class/Function Module without the need for an Access key from SAP. you can insert a Pre/Post/Overwrite method..there are also several implicit enhancement points in each method/function module, where you can plug in custom code..

I got a requirement like this. I have to send a report to client on hourly basis on infotype changes.
I do not know how to capture changes in a hour. I know how to track daily(using PCL4).

In FM HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_GET_DETAIL what is the role of BTIME import parameter. Is it considered after that time or before that particular time.
my requirement is , with in a hour (every hour new updates whether change, delete or insert etc ).So how do I pass the from and to time limits in the functionmodule.

Change Log in OM Infotype

Dear Friends
I have a requirement to capture all the Changes in PA and OM infotype for an interface.
Using PCL4 File, I can able to capture PA infotype changes for a particular date..
But am finding difficult to identify the changes in OM Infotype..for eg: in 1610, 1001..
Please advice me how to solve this issue....
