Hello!
I want to use OMBPLUS to fetch what properties a mapping have for “Analyze table statements” and “Analyze table sample percentage”.
I have tried to use OMBRETERIVE MAPPING but I can’t find the right GET PROPERTIES.
I hope YOU can help me.
Best regards,

    Hi,
    I m trying to write a code, I have tables A and table B.
I need to compare table A and table B , and update table B with one column.
using joins b/w A&B tables, I selected one record from table A in cursor.
After Begin I m trying to open cursor and in FOR LOOP
Im trying to update table B WHERE CURRENT OF Cursor.
    this is erroring out.
could you let me know on this.
there is another way like selecting required columns from both table.but i was told to do as above.
    Thanks

    > this is erroring out.
You haven't posted nearly enough for anyone to help you.  You didn't even tell us what error you are getting.
So about the only thing we can do is post a generic MERGE statement which you'll have to modify for your use.
    merge into tableB b
using (select some_key, some_column from tableA where etc.) u
    on (u.some_key = b.some_key)
    when matched then update
    set b.some_column = u.some_column;

  • View Customization Table changes and Data  table base changes in a report

    Hi All,
How to view Customization Table changes and DAta  table base changes in a report ,
Is it right transactions: SCU3 or RSVTPROT
Also plz let me know the concept of audit trial,
    Thanks
    SD

    Hi,
Changes to master data objects must be captured for the For compliance purposes. The auditor allows you to be able to view and print an audit log of changes to master data objects for a chosen period. It is very common for external auditors to focus on what has changed from one year or quarter to the next to help determine the nature, extent, and population for testing. To configure and access your audit log, perform the actions listed with each of the following utilities.
Audit Trail is used to track the record changes.
The report RPUAUD00 gives all the changes done to the masterdata by any user anytime.
But, before using this audit trial, please ensure that the system hardware is well equipped as the audit trials activation would later become a performance issue as this would occupy a lot of space in the coming time.

    Venkat.

  • Purpose of tables UJA_FORMULA_APP  and UJA_FORMULA tables

    Hi BPC Experts,
What is the purpose of tables UJA_FORMULA_APP  and UJA_FORMULA tables?
    Thanks.
    Mila

    Hello,
There r 3 default measures provided with ApShell: Periodic, Quarter To Data, and Year To Date. U can create your own measure by defining it in a table UJA_FORMULA.
When you create a new application, the entries from UJA_FORMULA are read and copied to table UJA_FORMULA_APP. This is required to replace the variable names with the technical names (we could have read UJA_FORMULA at runtime and done a dynamic replacement, but this optimizes runtime performance). Therefore, it is important to note that if you add a new formula into UJA_FORMULA for an existing application, you will also need to manually update UJA_FORMULA_APP, as well.
Hope this info will help u,
    Dzmitry

  • How can we delete SID table data and Text table data

    Hi,
How can we delete SID table data and Text table data of any
    InfoObject.

    Hi,
Go to transaction SE14, give the technical name if the table:
    /BIC/T<InfoObject Name>   for Text Table
    /BIC/S<InfoObject Name>  for SID Table
Select "Table" in the given 4 options below  &  hit Edit button.
in the next screen select "Direct"
& also select "detele data" radio button.
& hit  "Activate & adjust database".
this will delete the complete data from the tables.
Note: before deleting the SID's make sure of the consequences & after effects.
Also the SID gets generated the next time you load master data/transaction data only for those records which were loaded..

  • GET statement and internal table

    Hi community,
I use the GET statement and I want to use some older code segments.
I read somewhere that I can use the result of GET like an internal table.
So I tried to get the content of bsid into my internal table it_bsid. But that doesn't seem to work.
Do you have any advice in this?
I wanted to do the following:
    TABLES:
            KNA1,
            BSID,
            BKPF.
    DATA:
it_bsid TYPE TABLE OF bsid WITH HEADER LINE,
          is_bsid LIKE LINE OF it_bsid,
    GET bsid.
    LOOP AT bsid.
      APPEND it_bsid.
    ENDLOOP.
    -or-
    GET bsid.
    LOOP AT bsid INTO is_bsid.
      APPEND is_bsid TO it_bsid.
    ENDLOOP.
But in both cases I get an error.
    ' "VERSION ... ." expected after "BSID" '
Do you know what is the reason for that?
    Regards
    Tobias
Edited by: Tobias Oelschlaeger on Feb 29, 2008 4:18 PM

    Hi Tobias,
first you have to assign a logical database which has BSID to your program (in program attributes).
Then GET is the event triggered by the next BSID record according to your selection. You can not LOOP here but you may append to an internal table. This table may be processed using LOOP in the END-OF-SELECTION event.
Read some documentation about LDB [Logical Databases|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_01/helpdata/en/f0/ca4584260211d28a430000e829fbbd/content.htm] - it may help to understand the concept of this obsolete technique.

this will create a work area (spfli), looks like DB table spfli, but the statement is obsolate
    Bala Shanmuga Priyan wrote:

this will result in a syntax error, because this would also create a work area, but they cannot have header lines, so you should leave the WITH HEADER LINE addition.
    To create work area use:
    DATA : gw_spfli TYPE spfli.
    To create internal table:
DATA : gt_spfli TYPE TABLE OF spfli.

  • Difference between tables statement and work area

    Hi
i would like know the difference between these statement.
    tables: vttk.
data :itab type standard table of vttk,
             wa_itab like line of vttk.
what will happen with the table statement keyword ???
whether any difference between the ouput created through tables and wa_itab statement???

    Hi
    HI,
    INTERNAL Table and it's background:
    ===================================
Internal table acts as a container which is used to store the record sets. That is used to store the data fetched from the database table.
So due to performance reason every time access to database would not be so good and decrease the performance. So you just select the data from the database and store it in the intermediate table. This table is called INTERNAL TABLE. So it's an replica of the database. The design foes like this,
PRESENTATION SERVER <> APPLICATION SERVER <>
    DATABASE SERVER.
So everytime gain accessing to database results in high resource usage and bad permformance.
So always play around with internal tables. So obviously the whenever you access the data in the INTERNAL TABLE, the application server will be used.
    WORK AREA:
    ==========
When ever you loop at the internal table, the current record should be stored in a temporary work place. That is called WORK AREA.
    LOOP AT ITAB INTO WORKAREA.
    ENDLOOP.
    ITAB :An internal table
    WORKAREA:An instance of internal table

  • Material Group Difference MM03  (Table MARA) and Reservation (Table RESB)

Why material group at T-code MM03 (MARA-MATKL) difference at Table RESB ?
            Table MARA-MATKL = 04
            Table RESB-MATKL = 02
I checking  MM03 not change about material group. I don't know some T-code can change material group link to table RESB.

    Dear Mr.Jutamas,
As per to my understanding, initially when the reservation was made for the
particular material ,material group - 02 in Basic Data 1 view  would have been
present or maintained in the material master.
After that a change might have occured,i.e someone must have changed the
material group from 02 to 04.
So in MARA table the value is showing as 04 and in RESB its showing as 04.
Once after creating reservation ,if such changes are made,as far as i know that
will not get updated or reflected in RESB.
Better confirm the same,in MM03 - Display mode of the material and after going
into any one of the view,in the top menu check Environment - Display Changes -
you may get one or a list of changes that were made, along with the user, date &
    time details.

  • Columns in table OCRD and mapping table

    Hey,
I want to recreate the form settings form or the query generator form.
That means I need all columns in this table including the translations.
The background is that I select the column address and property 1 and contact person and my program creates automatically the corresponding select clause.
    SELECT Address, Property1, contctprsn
    FROM OCRD
For this I need the mapping table:
    CntctPrsn = Contact Person
    a.s.o
    Where ist this saved?
    Regards Chris

    Hi Janos,
thanks a lot for your fast replies.
I think I still explained it wrong.
    I will try it again.
My requirement from my customer is to write a tool which gives out all selected columns. I am using a list box where I can set check boxes. The list box includes for example DocNum, Sales Employee, Owner, Posting Date, Delivery Date and all other columns sometimes more than 60 depending on the table.
The customer selects now Sales Employee, Owner, Delivery Date. Now I create the select query.
    SELECT SlpCode, Owner Code, DocDueDate
    FROM OINV
If you open now the query generator and load the table ORDR you will get the Name and Description of every column.
I only need the information where this mapping is saved in B1.
What I want to do is to give out all Descriptions of the columns and to create to sql query with all Names, which you can see in the query generator.
This meta data is somewhere saved in SAP but I did not found the table yet.
Sorry for my complicated issue description.
    Regards Chris
