OMG access privileges killing me...Please HELP!

does anyone know how I can simply disable the access privileges so that I can drag/drop files across my network from machine to machine?
It's been an impossible hurdle for some time now...
any help is greatly appreciated...

Have you checked your sharing settings?
For each computer on your network that you want to share files which, in Preferences, open the Sharing pane, and make sure that you've elected to share files - you are turning on File Sharing. If you have multiple accounts on the computer, you need to do this for each account (unless you are working in root)
Make note of the IP address that now appears in the sharing pane (on the bottom).
You now can access that computer's drives (user, boot, external, secondary, partitioned) from any other Mac or Windows PC on your network. On the Mac, in the Finder>>Go Menu, select Connect to Server (cmd-k), and put in the IP address (afp://xxx.xx.xxx), then when prompted, enter the password for the TARGET account/computer, and voila! You are able to move files around.
If you need to control other computers on your network, you can download and install Chicken of the VNC (available from VersionTracker).

Open a new Finder window, Finder > File > New Finder Window, and it should appear on the left under Devices.
If you don't see it there, or to get it to show up on the Desktop: Finder > Preferences... General tab, check External disks to have it show on the Desktop, Or Sidebar tab, check External disks under DEVICES.

If it's reached the point where you can't try re-entering the code then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and re-sync your content to it - from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212
If you repeatedly enter the wrong passcode, your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch will be disabled for longer intervals before you can try again. After too many unsuccessful attempts, you won't be able to try again until you connect it to the computer with which you last synced it.

How are you trying to access it? You can't access the iCloud website on Safari on an iPad, you have to sign in in Settings>iCloud and access the data through the relevant apps.
Have you successfully set up an iCloud account? Can you log in at http://icloud.com on a computer? What operating system are you running on your iPad?
Do you get an error message when you try to access it?
You really need to post more data with a question like this, just 'I can't access' doesn't really allow for any sort of answer.

Ok so i was syning my ipod when all of a sudden i get something like:
"Attempting to copy files to disk 'My Ipod' faild. You do not have enough access privileges to..."
Yea...that one.

I'm not sure this is the same problem, but it's worth a shot. iTunes had suddenly removed about 100 songs and audio books from my iPhone. When I synch it would show a dialog box reading "Some of the items in the iTunes library, includding "xxx"" were not copied to the iPhone because you are not authorized to play them on this computer."
On the main menu I choose "Store > Deauthorize Computer"
Then I selected "Store > Authorize Computer"
The first time I did it, only a few of the songs were restored. The third time I did it, everything went back to normal, except that now it says that I have used 3 of my 5 authorizations. But at least I have my music back...

Sorry, without your Sync Key you're out of luck. It is used as the decryption key for the data that is stored on the Sync server.

Hi, i got my unlocked z10 a few days ago and still i can't get access to mobile network. Only wifi have worked for me till now.. i used the same sim card as my old phone (where i i got access fine). I've tried rebooting and switched every setting on and off etc. Could any one please help me with this..

Since you are using the same sim I suggest you contact your service provider to check your provisioning.

This is REALLY hurting business as nothing seems to work. I wll explain what is going on. When i attempt to log a clip, the clip doesn't show up in the bin. When i do a capture now, the clip doesn't show up in the bin, but when i look at the Final Cut Pro Documents/Capture Scratch folder the clip is there. If i try to drag the clip in the bin i get the error message (File Error: 1 file(s) recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown). Our system has the AJA i/O and a KONA LHe card. I have removed the KONA LHe card, and i did not plug back in the connections for the XSERVE RAID. I am now zeroing out the drive (FRESH FACTORY REINSTALL), and i have installed Final Cut Studio 2 first, but i made all of the software upgrades first. Even when i did that i still got the error message "File Error: 1 file(s) recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown." Can someone please help me as i have a commercial due tomorrow and as it stands i am SCREWED! I'm sure that you feel my pain, but nothing is working. It won't let me import any file from any drive because i will get the error message "File Error: 1 file(s) recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown"

Installation is complete on all of the updates and i installed Final Cut Studio 2. I still have not hooked up my Lacie drives (2 500 GB drives stripped to 1TB RAID), and i have not hooked back up my XSERVE RAID. I opened Final Cut and used my second internal drive and imported in audio from that drive. IT WORKED! Now i need to hook up the Lacie drives and see if i can import something from that drive. I have not installed the AJA i/O drivers yet. Trying to go one step at a time to see what is happening. Please advise someone.
