Omg help!!!

ok so im trying to set up my email on my bb8130 and it says that if i want to use an already existing email account than i need to type that into the user name spot and the password that goes with it in the password spot well i did and it is telling me that the user nameis invalid and that it has to start with a letter or a number well the first letter i typed in is a B so if anyone can help me i would be grateful!!!!!

are you using Email setup icon on device?
make sure there is no space before B and also if you are using a generic username to be created, it might be taken, try some other user name.
who is your service provider?

MACBOOK WON'T START HELP HELP OMG HELP!!/1/1kghl

SO! I recently bought a white MacBook and an iPod Nano (gen1 because I wanted them to match). Since then I have had to send in the first iPod, get a second one, and have the exact same problem--neither the MacBook nor the iPod seem to realise at all when they are plugged in. No charging, no syncing with iTunes. Nothing.
So the customer service bloke told me that I should update OS X. Alright, I toddle on off to Barnes and Noble to take advantage of the Wifi, as I live in the middle of no where and am still on dial-up. Update, update, restart time. I'm supposed to hold down the power button while it restarts.
Familiar with having to hold down keys while things happen, as I've used Windows all my life, I do. Except, apparently my button-pressing skills are TOO well-honed, because it begins loading and then turns off! Oh no! I may have held that button down a bit too long...
Easily solved, right? Just boot it up again.
Except it won't turn on! Well the little flashy LED light goes all flashy, and the thing sort of growls at me like it's in pain. The screen stays black, nothing else happens. I hold down a lot of buttons and still nothing happens. I've been trying turning it on while holding down different buttons, but still nothing. Honestly, I don't handle panic very well.
So, basically. I am totally freaking out. HELP HELP HELP PLEASE HELP.

First off, please don't crosspost your question unless instructed to, as it only wastes bandwidth and makes it harder to track who is asking what question.
Second, sleep it off a night, with your machine unplugged and no battery inserted to get rid of your franticness. It never really pays to be frantic in front of a computer because you don't know what you are doing, and you could be your own worst enemy.
When you are ready, depress the power button only for 2 seconds and let go.
If that doesn't work reset the power manager:

If neither works, are you getting anything on the screen?

OMG HELP!! I just purchased a USED 8330

I am a brand new Blackberry user and just purchased a used 8330 on ebay. I wiped it as SOON as I received it and got it activated at sprint. ALl of my contacts are on here but the previous owners e-mail addresses and account are still on here.....how do i fix this? What else do I need to do to complete the conversion?

You need to call Sprint and have them disassociated any email accounts with that PIN.

OMG HELP!! CONTACTS MISSING (after prompted "wireless update")

a few months ago i was promted to do a 'wireless update', and a new 'wireless update' icon appeared on my menu. i ignored it until yesterday and decided it couldnt hurt to 'update' something...... WRONG.... after the 2 hour or so 'updating' looked like everything was pretty reset, all my icons in different locations, homescreen was default. I also noticed that NONE of my address book contacts were there. BBM contacts were, but no address book... ive searched the internet for solutions and have found none, nor have i even found any of this same issue....
If this 'update' deletes all contacts for some reason... shouldnt that be made pretty clear before allowing you to 'update'??? PoFS.... HELP PLEASE or i'll be short a 'smart' phone by the end of the week!! thanks!!

Hi, and thank you for the response. I know now that i should have done a back-up... too little too late, as they say.... But i am sure now, after checking, that there are no filters set for the address book. Under my 'recent calls' list, for the calls that were made prior to the update, it still shows the names of my contacts (with numbers), and will call them from that list.. but still no address book entries, and as i checked the "number of entries" in the options menu for the address book, it states there are "0". and also still shows exceptions for the ring tones under those names..... "BRILLIANT" is all i can think of right now... so much for 'smart'phone....

Omg help-template does not create the page I want

I got my site all finished, it's uploaded, works fine online. I went to go make a site map in DW CS4 and I went to apply template(the one I have used for all my pages) and it came up completely different then what my template looks like. It is white, the links are blue(my sitemap links) and the pictures show up. So I closed out of everything restarted DW and went to new/page from template, the preview looks like what I want but when I click on create it comes up as the white page with the blue links. I do not know if I just hit a button or what but I am freaking out. I am a newbie to DW so I don't know if there is some setting I can fix and it will all be better. Please Help, it took me a long time to create the template I wanted and now it's gone!

OMG Help notes are all gone from outlook and i phone I can't get them back

I havent synced my iphone in a long time. I used to have an itouch (gave it to my son) and everytime I synced it on itunes it was replacing what was on my itouch in outlook onto my iphone getting rid of the recent stuff it was a mess. I have had some stuff going on and i thought i should sync now since imp stuff going on. well I deleted what was in outlook hoping to just put what was on my iphone into outlook but it deleted everything i had in it on both phone and outlook except for what was actually added on phone not even the stuff I have typed in from older messages to update like all my blood pressures recently it is all gone, I am ready to freak out is there anyway to undo a sync or a delete and put it back on my phone, help please

You could just restore your Outlook PST file from the latest backup of your computer. This will not bring back what was on your phone.
This is what sync does. If you delete i in one place, it will delete it all the way down the line. If it were to bring it back from the phone after you told it you didn't want it anymore in outlook, what would be the point?

OMG HELP...Golive CS2...copy/paste problem

it just happened this past week
on the same page, whenever I copy paste a link, instead of pasting the same short link (say to the next page), the pasted ink goes through my local directory.
i have inspector/ basic//source as Relative ...even edit to relative doesn't work...
EVEN if i move an image on a page, it reverts to an whole directory link...that doesn't work anyways
did I touch something?

hi all
well i THINK i know what's going on.
i have an external drive that has all my jobs. it may be that the drive is corrupt. i did a disk scan and only found a few minor errors that were corrected.
however, the issue is still not working right.
btw, i did a test and copied the job to my internal drive and launched golive from there...the problem was solved.!
so fyi here's what the links look like

the ../ ../ ../ are suppose to me my drive but it's not seeing it

Win2k --- XP Pro uprgrade. OMG help!!!

Hi.
I have been running win2k on this setup for the last 6 months without any (major) problems.
Yesterday decided to upgrade it to XP pro. Since I have tons of stuff on my HDD I didn’t want a fresh install so I just clicked the Upgrade option. It went fine with no hiccups but…XP will only load correctly until “Applying personal settings” then I get a BSOD every time.
It will only start in safe mode.
I didn’t add any hardware so i know it’s not an Hardware problem.
I have tried to reinstall but same happens.
I have disabled all USB, LAN, Audio etc and removed drivers for those.
Also removed drivers for 6800GT, unplugged all other drives like IDE HDD, CD-RW, DVD.
So even with just the mobo and 1 Sata HDD I still get the BSOD while loading personal settings.
Any ideas? I would h8 to loose all my data and I cant think of anything else to try.

I do have a backup or 2 in another drive, but it will be win2k backup.
I guess I could recover most of my data if I reinstall win2k.
But just the thought of reinstalling all the rest…..it will take me weeks to get it all in.
I will try your suggestions first thing when I get home. If that doesn’t help I think I have no choice but to install win2k on another drive just so I can do a restore and maybe I can import files and settings to a fresh XP installation then.

I was trying to go to another library when I noticed a dupliacte file.   I "thought" I selected only that file and went to "Move project to trash".   When I tried to see my original Project I've been working on for over 16 hours... it was GONE!   It's not in my trash, not in the iMove-->Projects folder... Did I just hose myself?

Cant change itunes country - billing info - credit balance - omg help

I was in US and my iTunes was US, now it asks me to verify my US billing info which I don't have anymore (before purchasing anything). SO- I was going to change it to UK - but it says I can't change whilst I still have credit in my iTunes balance.
BUT- I can't purchase anything and spend the credit I have left because I need to verify my US billing info. WHICH I DONT HAVE- AND I CANT CHANGE IT TO UK BECAUSE OMG DO U SEE WHERE THIS IS GOING???

Have you tried resetting again? If that doesn't work try restoring your iPod. Just be aware that restoring will erase the iPod's hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings, so if you have songs on your iPod that aren't on iTunes you will lose them if you have no back up. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions and it should connect to iTunes and give you a prompt to automatically update your library onto the fresh installation. If you want to update manually or using selected playlists choose no and it will default to manual mode and you can choose whatever setting you like: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes 7

after reading several posts, I've realized what has happened-I tried to charge my iPod on my computer and let my computer fall into sleep mode! That has thus screwed up my iPod. What can I do to fix it? Please help me!

huzzah! i have finally done it! a second time i restarted and then reset it, and now itunes is responding! i was able to get back to original factory settings! sure, now i have to wait while my 340 songs (i know thats not a lot, i only have enough to listen to) upload onto my ipod, but i have finally gotten my ipod back to where i can manage it and where its not so troublesome...

OMG Help Please Urgent!!!

I was trying to format one of my external hard drives but accidentally formated my main hard drive with disk utility, but only took like a minute to delete 500 GB... Is there a way I can get my stuff back? it seems to me imposible to delete 500 gb in a minute or less, it should be still stored there at the hard drive i think..

First - STOP using the computer. You have a better chance of recovery the data if the drive is not used until you're ready to recover.
