OMG OMG OMG....CAN SOME1 PLEASE HELP?!
So this morning, I grabbed my ipod and turned it on to listen to 311's "Amber" cause it was stuck in my head and all I heard was this blantantly loud "EEHEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" over the fading music in the background. I was shocked because my ipod was working just fine last night. So I thought the earphones were defective but I tried them on another application and they worked just fine. Then, I took my sister's earphones and tried it w/ my ipod. The noise is still there, only louder now.
I plugged the ipod into my computer and tested it. itunes worked just fine and all the music were flawlessly played. After that, I ejected the ipod and tested it w/ the earphones again. Unfortunately, the obnoxious noise is still there and I'm freaking out because I rely on the ipod so much (especially on the train to school)!
I'm sent a request to have my ipod replaced or fixed but right now, I'm working on transferring all my songs to my new PC because they said that the replaced ipod will be empty. If anyone knows how to fix this head-achy problem, PLEASE tell me how step-by-step(because I am not a computer-wizard)! My email is [email protected]

P.S. Apple needs to step it up quality-wise with these MP3 players. It is ludicrous that a $200 ipod only works for about...3months!?

Can somoene please help me get all my pannels back?
I was clicking on remove panels for one screen now all of them are gone. I just want it to go back to the original view so that I can see everything like it was when I first started my project. Can someone please help me with that? How do I get back all the regular original panel view set up?

After restoring to factory settings/new iPod you will then have to restore from backup
To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

I purchased my IPHONE about 2 months ago. I am visiting family in DE & this tuesday it starting to go off & on by itself. Then the icons looked like they were floating . Then I could not call or text . The SIRI device would not work. Then it would shut down then the apple icon would reappear. I took it to a verizon dealer in Rehoboth DE & they said it BUGGED OUT/It is in a RESTORE MODE. It will not turn on. We could not transfer anny of my pics or contacts. I never even had a chance to back up the memory on ITUNES.
The tech @ Verizon said to contact APPLE to trouble shoot and try and transfer the contacts from my yahoo acct.

Ginaset up your yahoo account in mail, contacts, calendars as an Exchange Account and you should be able to get your contacts from Yahoo from there.

hi when i open my application folder, all the application is shown in trash folder. when i click the application it says this app is in trash first move it out. and when i try to open through finder> go it says this file doesn't exist. can some1 plz help? how can i put all my application through application folder?
Something really odd is going on. In your first screen shot, I noticed that the Applications folder does not have the proper icon displayed in the side bar. Also, in the title bar it lists it as Applications 08-59-29-909.
Not sure where it's picking up that odd name, unless it's because it's still truly within the Trash folder.
Try this. In the Finder > Preferences > General > turn on "Always open folders in a new window". (I have a feeling you have the default setting with this off).
Now, in Finder > Go > move down and open the Applications Folder from there. Now open the folder where you see all your applications that you show in your screen shot, select all, and move them to this true appliactions folder.
This is what you should properly seeing (but with different apps listed):
See how the Applications folder has the icon of the letter A shaped with a pencil, ruler & pen. -
My iPhone 4 will not sync my new voice memos from the "Voice Memos" app to my computer. This is frustrating, should not be so hard, can someone please help. I use PC with windows 7 with iPhone version 6.1.3 and iTunes most recent. Thanks.
In the Music tab of iTunes, do you have 'Include Voice Memos' checked?

First of all, I live in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Sometimes, I use a VPN to search on the web here. I purchased Toy Story 3 on my MacBook Pro 2011 OS/X - Lion through iTunes. I initially had trouble downloading it which may be due to being on and off the VPN but after a while it finally downloaded and shows up in my iTunes library on my MacBook.
Under my Apple ID account (which is the only Apple ID account I have), I look under purchase history and it shows that I paid for Toy Story which is where I got my Order # from. But if you go to the iTunes Store then to the Quick Links then click on Purchased, under all my Movies, it does NOT show Toy Story 3 as one of my movies.
Now when I go to my iPad (3rd gen.), Toy Story 3 does not show up under purchased movies (all or not on my iPad). It does not show up on my Apple TV as well. If I want to have Toy Story 3 on my iPad or Apple TV, then it says I have to purchase it again.
I have searched for help via Apple support communities but so far none of their solutions have worked for me. I have tried logging off iTunes & App Store on iPad and also shutting down the iPad. I also made sure that under iTunes Preferences>Store that iTunes in the Clouds purchases is checked. Can someone please help me with this? Your consideration is greatly appreciated. I just purchased this movie on Thursday, May 15, so just a few days ago. I have never had any trouble whatsoever since I have been in Vietnam. I have downloaded several movies and even music and they have all synced to my respected Apple products except for this purchase.

It sounds like you actually have a 2G iPod Touch which can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. If it's an 8 GB iPod Touch it's definitely a 2G iPod Touch as there was never such a thing as a 3G 8 GB iPod Touch. See this article to help verify what generation iPod Touch you have.

Hello can some please help I am trying to watch my HBO go on my apple tv I have sound no picture. I can watch my iTunes videos and youtube on my airplay with my ipad and everything is updated so I know it works. But not on HBO go, Max go, showtime go.
What you want to do does not work with an iPd running iOS 5. See the screenshot.
The latest update for HBO GO does allow for AirPlay on Apple TV - sound and video - but only on devices running iOS 6 and Apple TV running 5.1.1 or later - according to the app description. -

I guess I will wrap this up. I have abandoned iPhoto and viewing my Photo Streams using it and moved to Adobe products (Bridge + PS). So that's that.

I turned on my laptop this evening to import a new cd but it asked me if i wanted to download the new version of itunes so i went ahead to update it but it failed to update then it failed to open at all, and and runtime error keeps popping up but when i uninstalled it to reinstall it it wont install now and i cant use my ipod or ipad with my laptop without itunes and i never had this problem at all. can you please help?Hey maryncomiskey,
