On most of the web pages I open, Firefox hangs and gives me this error:Unresponsive script. I can open the same page w/Google Chrome, and don't get that error.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

I created 5 swfs (simple, short animations) The swfs are named "movie1," "movie2," and so on. I want to import all 5 movie clips and thread them together so that they play one after the other inside the timeline of a new Flash Document. I am hoping to have "movie 1" play, stop, have "movie 2" play, stop and so on until the 5th "movie plays then stops (no looping necessary). It will be played on a Mac laptop and not online.
I've been fiddling with timeline actions for 2 days and can't figure how to lead one movie to the other. I've been using Action Script 2 so far.
What I've done is create 5 layers (1 for each clip)
"movie1" is on layer 1, frame 1
"movie2" is on layer 2, frame 2
"movie3" is on layer 3, frame 3
"movie4" is on layer 4, frame 4
"movie5" is on layer 5, frame 5
Is this workable?

if you have swfs (and not movieclips), that probably won't work: no actionscript in those swfs will work. so, if you have any actionscript those swfs you'll need to "load" the swfs.

Honestly, I don't get this camera..

I have a Nikon D80 and I have been known to take some amazing shots since I have had it, but with my iPhone, all I get are super grainy, super blurry pics.
What I do is point the camera at the subject...click and hold the camera button, wait for the image to stop "waving" around, and release.
The camera will "click" and the fake shutter thing will go, but then my photo is full of motion blur.
It's almost like the shutter speed isn't quick enough to eliminate shaky hands or subject movement. Is there anything I can do to take better photos as I have seen some other threads on other forums of people taking some pretty ok ones from the back of speeding boats, of pets, of storms...

I'm noticing that the fake shutter doesn't seem like the "cut off" point for the photo. If you click the button and the shutter is moving, you can actually blur the pic during this time.
Perhaps someone can test this out. If this is the case they should change it so the photo is taken the second you release the button as it's a tad confusing to have it still be taking a photo during that time.
It really should work like other cameras though...where when you click the button it takes a photo...not when you release the button, that just doesn't make any sense.

but my challenge is that some of the client are moving from one seat to another seat, and connect there pc to the local docking station (behind another IPhone)
it seams to me, that the phone isn't release the "unit" behind, anyone have a idé

My iPhone 5, including the various releases of iOS software has exhibited high quality and reliability. Have I ever had a problem, issue or frustrating operational question ...Yes. Have these problems, issues and questions been mitigated ...Yes. I would say your list needs to add a little more emphases to the opportunity to exchange a non-working device rather than just return it. People would otherwise be missing out on a very satisfying ownership experience.

Emails go straight to outbox and don't get sent

Hi I'm new to the mac family very happy and excited always wanted one and now I have an imac. I bought the subscription to .mac and I use it as my primary email address. For the last week or so I haven't been able to send emails. I looked online and tried somethings, first I set my port to 587 that seemed to work yesterday. Today I tried to send an email with an attachment and it went to my outbox. I thought the attachment might be too big so I sent another with just a line of words and it too went straight to my outbox. I bought my mac because it's suppose to just work lol. And that's what I need it to do because I'm not the smartest. please help.

I'm not sure if you are having the same problem as me.I had vonage and the vonage router was blocking my emails going out but could only send one line text.After changing the router to a new one it worked.

I have iphone 6, my son has iphone 5c. My hotspot is turned off. My son gets option to tether to my hotspot, if he clicks on that then it remotely turns my hotspot on! Can other iphone users do the same? Worried about other people using all my data.

The password for the hotspot will remembered by the devices that have connected to your hotspot.
If you can't reset the network settings on those devices, which would also delete all network passwords on those, just chafe the hotspot password on your phone in Settings/Hotspot/Wi-Fi password.

Don't get mad over the kin

If you don't like the kin cuz it doesn't have enough memory or you can't watch video or what ever just spend the extra money to get what you want.
If you don't like the kin because you over paid for something you don't use then get a cheaper phone.

Don't get mad, get a refund

There are a string of issues with the new iPhone:
1. Blemishes on the finish
2. Labels printed askew
3. Light leaking around the bezel of some white iPhones
4. WiFi refuses to connect or breaks off constantly
5. "No Signal" reception problems
6. Unusable software
Now if this was any other product what would you do?
a. Hang onto it and hope it will spontaneously get better?
b. Hang onto it and ask the manufacturer to come up with some kind of repairs/patches?
c. Return the product for another from the same manufacturing batch?
or
d. Return the product and ask for a refund and wait until a working model is available to buy?
It seems odd to have to remind people what their options are, but it seems many seem to develop a blind spot.
Make sure you know when the last date is for returns, or you will be stuck with this.
Remember it is not your fault. You did not manufacture or sell this product as something it is not.

Troubleshooting FaceTime and iMessage Activation

When I run my Webroot Clean -Up feature Firefox browser windows turn into tiny columns on the left of my screen and I have to unintall and reinstall to get it to display properly but then I loose all my bookmarks --- WHY?!?

It is messing with some sort of setting in Firefox because if I uninstall Firefox and don't get rid of all my customizations (there is an option to keep/discard these upon un-installation) when I reinstall, I get the same problem...any ideas?!?

Why don't you stop using that program if it isn't working properly and corrupts your Firefox installation?
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Plug the stick and/or card into the appropriate slots on the side of your Air. Do you see icons for the devices appear on the desktop? Click into them to see what files are there.
