Where can i get OMWB 10.1.0.4.3,and mysql 5.x plugin.
Checked on the orcale download site - only 10.1.0.4.0 there.

Hi,
I have download what's supposed to be the beta for MySql 5 http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/omwb/101041/omwb_mysql5_beta.zip, I also downloaded version 3.1 of the connector. I run OMWB and it creates the repository and everything, I can see all 3 plugins but I get the Database not found problem. I check the log and this is what it looks like:

As you can see it has the right plugin but the release shows 10.1.0.4.0 instead of 10.1.0.4.3.
My question is where can I get 10.1.0.4.3 ? or somebody knows what's going on with this?

Download of the new OMWB 9.0.2

Hello Oracle Workbench Team,
the download of the new OMWB 9.0.2 doesn't work. If i choose
the Download link which refers to "http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/omwb/9ir2/omwb_92010.exe"
an HTTP 404 error occurs.

I have just finished installing 9.0.2.0.1 on Red Hat Advanced Server. All of the install docs and release notes are on the first CD in the directory (appropriately enough) named 'docs'. They are in HTML and PDF formats.

Downloading OMWB issues

How come I keep on getting file does not exist when trying to download file: omwb_92010_013.exe
I also get similar error when trying to download any OMWB Plug-ins.

OMWB download is zero bytes

I'm trying to download the Migration Workbench, but I keep getting 0-byte files. The URL is: http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/omwb/101040/omwb.zip
The same is true for the plug-in I want to use (MySQL 4.x; http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/omwb/101040/MySQL4.jar). That also downloads as a 0-byte file.
I've tried this in both IE (v6) and Firefox (v2), and neither works.
Can someone tell me another download location, or whether this can be fixed?

There is only one download location. I think this is an issue on your side. Downloads seem ok to me, just checked them.

Can't download OMWB - need it now!

I've been trying to download OMWB for a week. I fill out about 5 pages of survey and get a dns error on the actual download page. We called last week and were told that it would be up today, which it isn't. A follow up call today to support was incredibly unhelpful, telling me that there was no support for OTN and she didn't know who told us that it would be up today.
Any idea on when this will be available? Or suggestions on where else I can download it from? The project is getting behind due to the unavailability of this tool.

If you are still experiencing download issues, even with the privacy settings on your browser set to accept cookies, it may be a timing issue when accessing the download site. Downloading omwb.zip

Have attempted to download the latest migration workbench 10.1.0.2.0 but when opening the zip file get error message: Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive. Has anyone else had problems and what is the workaround?

But I can't install the Workbench.
I can choose Typical or Custom Installation and then I have
following message "Der Bereitstellungsbereich benoetigt
Installer ab Version 1.7.0.0.0".
Where can I download only the Oracle Universal Installer
1.7.0.0.0 ?
I don't download the complete download from
omwb-clnt-1_2_4_3_0.exe.

No plusings Install (OMWB)

Hi ,
I am migrating sybase database 12.5 database to Oracle 10g Rel2 database using Oracle Migration workbench 10.1.0.4
I have downloaded the zip file of OMWB and unzip it to C:\ drive and copied the required plugins (Sybase12.jar) to C:\omwb\plugins directory. when i try creating repository on oracle database it gives error " No plugins installed. Please install the plugin for the database you want to migrate" .
When i opt default repository its start two step process
A) Creating Repository
B) Installing Plugins
It complete first step but failed at second step giving similar massage " No plugins installed" .
I have checked several time, i've downloaded jar files its not zip file. but its not working and repeatdly fails to create repository on oracle database.
If anybody faced this issue and know how deal with it please help..

Hi Donal ,
Following is the result of dir command. this morning i tried again after fresh downloading of jar file , it asked for the creation of repository , it continue through the first step successfully ( creating Repository ) but failed at second step ( i.e. Installing Plugins) giving similar error massage.
One more thing when checked oracle db , It created 64 objects ( Tables ) under user REPUSER ( on oracle db), which i created for storing repository, any idea what this indicate ? But still i am completely struck because it failed to install Plugins . Is this anything to do that i am using single machine for all , OMWB and oracle software ? Just wild guess !

The core and the plugins are separately downloadable from http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/migration/index.html
Unzip the core zip file and copy the plugins (.jar files) into the plugins directory.

I logged in to download the Migration Workbench, I was asked to complete a survey. I completed the survey, and then was taken to the download page. When I clicked on the link to download, I got an URL not found message. When I go back, it asks me to go through the whole process over again.

Getting Error while installing omwb

Hi,
I want to migrate sql server data to oracle database. When I am installing omwb in my computer getting error “ No plug in install. Please install the plugin for the database you want to migrate. “
1. I don’t know from where I have to download the plugins.
2. I am installing omwb in my pc but I can connect with sqlserver (through Sql Server Enterprise Manager) / oracle (through TNSNAMES.ORA) from my pc.
Pl let me know me How to install if you have ny doc pl let me know.

1. Download the pligin “SQLServer2K.zip” and put the file SQLServer2K.zip into D:\omwb\plugins\ location.
2. unzip the SQLServer2K.zip in the same location " D:\omwb\plugins\ " .
But same error coming. “ No plug in install. Please install the plugin for the database you want to migrate. “

i already create a new repository,and bring up the OEM.Then I run ./omwb.sh,however I found I can't connect to repository.

Hello,
"Incorrect login information specified" means you may be providing incorrect login information :). Check your username, password, hostname, port and sid. Try connecting with the login details from command prompt n try again.
Observation: I think you are trying to create the repository in the "system" try creating a separate user and create your repository in that one, example "rep_user"
