On a PC with separate logins, do I need a separate Digital IDs?

I recently updated the Digital Edition to 2.0. My wife and I share our home PC with each having our own log in. I can download and open books on my Kobo. But, my wife has a problem opening a downloaded book on her Nook. She gets an ERROR DIALOG on the Nook User not activated. We did not have this problem with the older Digital Edition. When I look at her Digital Edition "HELP", I cannot view the Digital ID but I can when I look at my Digital Edition. Does she have separately download a Digital Edition? It worked before?

ADE 2.0 has problems with some ereaders (and with lots of other things).
I suggest you revert to the older and more reliable previous version.
There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0. Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

This problem has been bugging me for a very long time, and have not been able to find the answer I am looking for.
My wife and I both have separate iphone's with separate iCloud accounts and all. We also both use a Macbook Pro with separate logins.
The issue is, when my wife logs in to her account on the macbook, and turns the contacts on to sync with icloud on her phone, all of my contacts are saving to her phone.
This has happened multiple times, and she says she just wont use it, but I rather have everything work together correctly.
Please help!!!

If you share an Apple ID, both of your phone numbers should be linked to that ID. You should be able to use your phone number as well. My wife, my daughter and I all share an Apple ID for purchases, and we each text from our iOS devices using our own iPhone numbers.
When iOS 6 came out, you were able to link the phone number with your Apple ID to use for Messages and FaceTime. You will need to sign out of messages on all devices and then start the process all over again.

My profile on old pc is corrupted. I can only log in locally with another login. I need to copy or back up my firefox bookmarks. how can I do this?

I have a copy of my old profile on my old laptop but I can no longer log in as myself. I can only log into safe mode on my computer. I need to copy my bookmarks to my new laptop. I copied the profiles folder within the Mozilla folder in my local profile. I need to know how to restore my bookmarks.

Retaining individual icloud settings with separate logins.

My wife and I are set up as separate users with separate logins on our imac. Will the imac remember our individual icloud settings whenever we each login in? When icloud was 1st set-up it was done so under my login using my apple ID. Having now read more about icloud it seems very restrictive on how to keep our details separate. Its not clear to me how to resolve my issue from the discussions had so far.
What I'm trying to do:
I want to set up icloud so that when we each login to our imac under our separate accounts the imac will remember our individual icloud settings. We don't want share our apple ID or iCloud accounts.
Can this be done? Will the imac remember our individual settings? Our OS is Mountain Lion 10.8.5.
Any assistance on clarifying this issue for me would be great.

each of your separate useraccounts will store the settings you are making in the System Preferences panels for your individual account, including what you are setting up in your iCloud panel.

I'm trying to use Mountain Lion Server so my family can have separate logins via Screen Share to their iTunes.

Now setting up iTunes for each with their own Library (not shared), thus keeping multiple Libraries.
I get this;
This Computer is already associated with an Apple ID.

So what it is on the same computer, they are completely separate Libraries never to be mixed.
If this works, I only need to keep one computer up and running, instead of three.
Each can do their syncing/backup and connect to the various Airplay/AppleTVs I have around the house.

Bottom line is you can't - easily.
You need to make sure that you log out of the server each time otherwise the ID is running. To explain, if you had a laptop with different people using it, your solution works fine. Each time someone logs in, the iTunes ID is different so it works as you can only have one person using the laptop at any one time.
Now, turning your problem inside-out, you want people to be able to log into iTunes concurrently to use their own version of the program with their own library. This does not seem to work and you get the conflicted ID error message. Even though iTunes is running under their own login ident, I have never been able to get this working reliably and was told that iTunes is NOT a network-aware application as it is designed to be single user.
The way I got around this was to login as XYZ and to make sure that the ID was changed in iTunes accordingly. However, it did not always work so I gave up with the whole thing.

Hi, I've been searching the forums, and only see answers on this topic for people on work networks/exchange. My issue is for a single home iMac with three users with separate login accts.
My problem is that I have a new iMac and I got office2004 and I would like all the members of my family to use this computer and share the "ENTOURAGE CALENDER" so we can all see who is doing/going what and when.
I can't seem to figure this out and I need some help!!!! Can anyone explain how I can achieve this simply to me?

There is no way to do that without a server being involved. I would recommend using Google Calendar to achieve something similar.

Safari Auto Fill Issue - Same domain with multiple logins

Hello Group,
I am working with Safari's Auto Fill feature for user names and passwords on website pages that I log into and it is not doing what I would like it to do. For some reason I am unable to save more than one login per domain and is not seeing the entire url path. If save my user name and password for say this url path of ************* it will save the user name and password but when you look in safari->preferences->autofill, its only showing the top level of the domain and not the entire path.
And if there is a different page on the site located at a completely different url path such as *********** that I need to log into and I try to save a user name and password for this different url path, it asks me if i want to update the current user name and password, and I don't want to do that, I want to save a new different user name and password for this second login screen.
Is there anyway to get this to see the entire url and remember separate logins for each different page on the same domain? Thanks.

Multiple playlists in same PC with multiple logins

Here's my question:
On my W2K PC, I have it so several people can use their own separate login ID to logon to it.
That said, I have moved the 'iTunes Music' folder to the root of the C: so everyone can access it, and that part works fine.
The problem is, everyone has their own playlists.
How can I make it so ALL of the playlists will show up under everyone's iTunes when they login ?

We have only one iPod and I share it with my wife, but when I logon and sync the iPod, it only pulls in MY playlists, not hers. Hers are not even an option.
And when she logs in and syncs the iPod, it pulls in her playlists, and not mine, mine do not show up.
Is there a way that we can have all playlists reside in one area so no matter who logs on to sync an iPod, they get all the playlists ?
As I said, I've moved my 'iTunes Music' folder to the root of C:, and set the Preferences in iTunes to point to that, but I don't know how to do the same for playlists.
Can this even be done ?
We are not sharing music across computers, just across the different logons on the same computer.

You can have identical libraries (contents, playlists and all) if you set each user's account to reference the same .itl file.
Have a look at this article in the Apple Knowledge Base for details on how to do so.
By using the Choose Library option and linking the accounts to the same .itl file, the libraries will be the same and changes made to one will be reflected in the others.

You can start a new thread by making a thread object and passing it an implementation of a runnable object. Runnable has just one method, public void run(), this is was gets executed in a second thread. perhaps the code you would use would look something like this.

How do I share access to Dreamweaver with a colleague of mine in a separate location?
I currently have DW loaded onto my desktop. I am presuming that if my colleague wants to get access to it, I have to copy the DW files I've created and put them onto the creative cloud connection. If that is the answer, How do I do that?
My colleague has already downloaded DW onto his computer - he just can't see the files that I've created, even though I am making sure that my version of DW is always closed when he accesses his version.

It is against the standard Dreamweaver license for your colleague to be using your license. Your colleague needs his license.

How do I change my itunes account to shared directory so that 2 users (with 2 iphones) with different logins/usernames can still share the same itunes account?

My husband and I both have the iphone 4S and I already have an itunes account. We want to use the itunes account together but he needs to be able to log into our iMac with his login/pw and still manage his phone through our itunes account.

My wife and I have 2 different iPhones, 2 different iTunes accounts, and 2 different logins on our main computer. I will log out of my iTunes account after syncing my phone to my account and login and login into her separate login and iTunes account to sync her phone. The problem is that her phone will get only through the second step and then iTunes freezes. The only successful way we have been able to sync our phones is by restarting the computer. Is there a fix to solving this issue?

Do you mean you want to have his own itunes library and own itunes store account, but share the same itunes content?

IOS 8 - iCloud Keychain with Multiple Login Accounts for a Site

I use iCloud Keychain to store multiple login accounts for a single website.
When using Safari on a Mac, the last login account I used for that site is prepopulated in yellow fields. If I want to change the login account, I clear the field with the login ID and I see a dropdown of all of the login accounts available for that site.
When using Safari on iOS 7, the last login account I used is prepopulated (just like with the Mac), but if I want to use a different login account, I need to enter enough characters in the login ID field for Safari to know which login account I want to use and then it autofills using that account.
Now, with iOS 8, all I get is the last login account I used. I can't figure out how to autofill any of my other login accounts for that site.
I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure it out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
