On an iphone4, can I re setup the Passcode. In settings, when I touch Turn Passcode On will I have the option of resetting or have to try to remember my Passcode which I did not record?
I Want to reactivate my Passcode for safety. I am unsure what I used since I forgot to write it down. When I select 'Turn Passcode On' in Settings, will I have the prompt 'Change Passcode'?
On my 5s, with the Passcode turned on the "Change Passcode" prompt is usable -- i.e., you can change a passcode once you have a passcode turned on. I have turned mine off and back on in the past and it always asked me for a new passcode. I used the same one as before but there was no indication that it was requiring that or asking for the previous passcode.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
However, you will likely run again the Activation Lock

You either have to get the Apple ID and password of the previous owner and enter it or have them remove the iPod from their account.

I can't sign into iCloud because my Apple ID doesn't work there. For some reason it gave me a .mac email and I don't remember the password. "We" can't send you a passcode as we aren't Apple and Apple do not operate in these forums providing support, rather it's other users of iPad, just like you. As a sidenote, if you have just upgraded to iOS 7 during the mini setup process you are asked to CREATE a passcode as part of the setup process.

unfortunately no, a million people are attempting to update their phones right now, and thus activate them. Patience will have to suffice.
For the future, I would recommend not updating essential work devices on the launch day -
In my first iPhone 5, the speaker didn't work and people could not hear me on Speaker phone when I used it. When I used the video recording it did not record sound at all only a hissing/static sound, no voice. I wished for a software fix. I did a hard reset, nothing. I did a full restore to factory settings not putting my backup on and the problem persisted.

Hi all,
For some time now, my appstore app shows an update available for CodeBox, which I did not buy. When I try to update it it asks for my ID and password (all normal), but then it gives an Unknown Error.
I am 100% sure I didn't buy the app, I do not see any transaction on my card or in the appstore apart of this one, so does not seem to be a hack.
Does anyone know what is happening, this is a tricky thing which is making me lose trust in the payment/account system that Apple is using.

That's probably the MobileMe or iCloud password.
Go to System Preferences > Mobile Me (or iCloud). If you're not logged-in, do so. If you are, log out and back in again. -

You've checked the purchase history on your account to see what the 18.87 charges were for (they may have been from a day or 2 before the Dec 7th), and nobody else has acess to your account or devices and may have made them ? You've checked the purchase history on your account : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases

I bought a mac 2 days ago and transferred some files on there using migration assist which I did not want to. How do I restore my imac to factory settings so I can start again?
Look in /Users folder. You can go to System Preferences > Users & Groups, open the lock and "-" delete the account it created.
This is a problem whenever you use migration assistant after the initial install. The proper way to run Migration Assistant is in Setup Assistant when you first boot your Mac. I don't know why Apple isn't clearer about this issue.
