Firefox can't renew it's last tabs and now won't run and let me do a backup
It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

If you don't have a backup then the only possible solution is to go back to the store and see if they can get your old phone and create a backup of that. I know very often that Apple employees will wipe the returned iPhones clean before shipping them back to wherever they ship them.
When you say your old phone was "broken" does this mean it is dead and won't turn on?
Do you have a Time Machine backup of your computer, or a clone that might have this info on it?
Other than that I hate to say you may be out of luck. Time Machine and/or a cloning program performed regularily will inevitably save your a** in situations like this.

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Two possibilities:
Add a new USB hard drive to the Time Capsule and start a new full backup and move forward from that point.
(Unfortunately, it is not possible to have Time Machine simply continue backups on a new drive. You have to start over with a new full backup.)
Or, if you decide that you really do not need all the old backups on the Time Capsule, the disk can be erased and you can start over with a new full backup and move forward. -
As already described I started a WiFi Sync with iTunes. In about 3 seconds all apps were deleted. So all apps that were installed. Some apps waited for download. They are still on...
Now how can I backup to before the sync. The newest datas are in iCloud, maybe that will help! Otherwise I would also try to get it from iTunes. How is that possible?
I really hope someone can help me!I would check and see if the apps are still in iTunes on your computer and sync with the computer again. Just because we now have WiFi sync at our disposal does not mean that you can't sync with the computer again.
If you have a backup on your computer, you can restore from the backup first and sync any apps that are still missing. I think you can only restore from iCloud if you restore your iPad to factory settings using iTunes on the computer anyway. I see no way to restore from iCloud simply by using the device itself. I'm pretty sure that is how you must do it. Perhaps you have to erase all content and settings on the device and then restore with iCloud and I assume that would work as well. I see no setting in iCloud on the iPad that lets you restore from the backup, so you still have to restore to factory settings some way.
So while we are free from the computer in some ways, IMHO - it still handy to be reliant on your computer. I may be missing something - but after watching a couple of videos about restoring from the cloud, that is the way I think it works. -

how do i change the backup intervals on the timemachine? i found one answer that told me to go into system>library>launchdaemons, but i dont have the file com.apple.backupd-auto.plist in the launchdaemons folder to change the second increments. what am i missing and what can i do to change it like others have?

Do you have any thoughts on WHY this will not change... Even with reboots, resets, poweroff. UNIX should do what you tell it but this is not working. How can I delete the backups of my imac, that are stored on my macbook air.
I wanted to transfer a folder (of 5 gigas) from my iMac to my macbook air (both running Lion OS) using a thunderbolt cable, so I started my macbook air on target disk mode (by starting it up while holding the key T) and on my iMac I went to the time machine utility, switched it on and selected the disk from the macbook air, I selected the folder, copied it to my macbook air's dekstop, the whole process took me less than 2 minutes. I disconnected the cable, turned the macbook air on and the folder was in the desktop as I wanted, however, it was created automatically a backup of my iMac on my macbook air. So now I am kind of lacking space and I want to delete the backup, but unfortunately, I can't find the backup on my macbook.

Apps can be re-downloaded using the same itunes account you used to purchased them, so there's no big problem there, whereas for music you need to get it out of that phone. If you use a Mac download detune by headlightsoft. Or if you're on a PC download Sharepod, both programs allow you to pich and choose what music you want to copy back to your computer, so you have all that stuff backed up. Also always make a backup in itunes before updating anything. If you're currently on iOS 5 you don't need to update through a computer, you can do an over the air update, go to settings/general/software update

How can I change the backup from Verizon to Google?
In one of our two i510 Charge phones the Contact list is currently saved in Verizon's Backup Assistant.
Now I want to change the "Save Contact To" symbol that is in the phone's contact list (see attached photo) from Verizon (RED colored) to Google ( Black colored) so we can backup/sync the contact list with Google rather than with Verizon.
Currently all the contacts in the phone have the Verizon Red colored symbol.
My question is, how can I do this???

Thank you...great answer. I marked it as answered. On my wife's phone all the RED Verizon symbols are now BLACK Google symbols and we can finally backup to Google.
My photo shows the only three options I have which are Red for phone (which I called Verizon), black for Google, and Green & Orange for SIM Card. There were ONLY those three options,. The reason the photo was cut off at the bottom was that it showed my GMAIL email address. I had no orange Samsung TouchWiz save to phone option unless it is the Phone RED colored one, which it is.
Furthermore, it is nice to have our contacts saved on the SD Card too.

iPhone 4 went into recovery mode when trying to restore it. Now the only option iTunes allows is for "restore & upgrade", it is not offer an option to restore from a backup, says that must first do the upgrade, when attempting to do the upgrade the iPhone won't accept it.
How can I restore from a back up in recovery mode when the only option is "restore and upgrade"?
Please help.You don't you must restore your phone first and then you will have the option to restore from your backup.
