On back up assistant, how do I adjust it not to back up my pictures, videos, and documents?
The cloud back up keeps getting full because of these items, that I back up another way already...

Excellent question. When you open the Verizon Cloud app you will see the menu option in the top left hand corner. It consists of 4 vertical lines. Then you will select Settings and chose What to Backup. When it backs up the videos are you connected to wifi?

No; try using a data recovery product such as the ones listed here. Don't write anything else to the drive until the files are recovered or you choose not to recover them.

I deleted all my photos and videos and then delete the deleted files but the photo app is still taking up 12 GB of space and I have no room for new stuff. How can I clear the memory space used by my deleted videos and photos? I don't know why the photos are still taking up space and if I will have to reset my phone to get rid of the problem.

How do I share pictures, videos, and songs between 2 iPhones on 1 iMac? My wife and I shoot pictures and video at the same event and want to share them in 1 iPhoto event. We have music that we want to share and load onto our respective iPhones. And we DON'T want to muddle our contacts, apps, or other goodies.
I tried to set up a shared folder for the pictures, and set us a login for each of us. I must have missed a step or two because it didn't work.
Please spell it out. Please provide the steps and check marks, or a link to an Apple Support doc that makes it easy.

How do i adjust the contents on one layer at a time and not the whole image - photoshop cs6

i am creating a photo thing in photoshop cs6 and i have a mountain behind a layer that is visible and in total i have about 6 layers and when i try to change something on layer 6 (so somehting like the saturation and hue) it changes whats on layer 5, at the same time, so how do i make it so i just adjust the contents on layer 6?

while on the adjustment layer the properties panel will show a button that looks like so:
if you select it the adjustment will only be applied on the layer below and the adjustment layer will look like so.

How do I tell iphoto NOT to load ALL images from camea and iphone, only new images?
I've bee using my MacBook Pro, iphoto and Nikon for many years. I travel alot and take many pictures, and like to keep them on the memory cards as an extra backup. All was going great on a recent trip, until one day, suddenly, when I plug camera into computer, iphoto opens (as usual) but it starts downloading ALL of the old images on the memory card instead of just the ones that have not already been imported! It takes forever when you are using a 16GB card!! Is this due to some update I installed? How do I tell iphoto not to do this?! I only want to see images not yet imported, as it used to be. I am using OS X 10.6.8 and iphoto '09 - 8.1.2 And, this same thing is happening with my iphone, and my other camera.
iPhoto does read all images (how else can it know if it has already imported them or not) and then gives your oppertunity to import new, all or selected
Yes it does take a bit to get all images and see what needs to be imported - I use 32 GB cards - and the other issue is that if you delete impoprted photos next time you use the card the deleted ones will be in the new list so you have to select the rest and import selected - I've found no solution to this

Click the windows start button, then right click on computer, this will bring up a window that will tell you how much ram your system has.
Also Start>Accessories>System Tools>System Information will give you all the details you need to know.
As for Codec, That is an abreviation for code/decode it tells windows how to code when saving a video and how to decode when playing a video. Most formats are wrappers (avi, wmv, mov, rt) Each of these have a codec that you can choose from when saving a video, that codec then must be installed on the users computer to see that same video. Most formats come with a basic number of codecs and the creator of the video can purchase other codecs that provide better feature set.
What the codec really does is takes the video and compresses it like a zip file then the user when playing require that codec to uncompress it.
So each codec has its own strength and weaknesses. Some can compress more making a smaller file and perhaps inturn removes more data to get that compression and therefore has a poorer quailty video (just an example)
I am sure you heard of a few codecs if you think about it. mpg, mp2, mp3, mp4, h.264 and so on. Mp3 is the only one I listed here that is for audio only. Yep thats right even audio uses codecs. -
I have been working on a project since December of 2012 for my son's first birthday. Basically, it's a photo or quick video each day of his life so far. I used the "upper" title and made the titles not fade in and out, because that could give someone a seizure. The idea is a seamless title that ticks away each day. But in the new iMovie, it changed my settings, and I can't for the life of me find how to change them back.
Now, each date flashes in and out, in and out, in and out. Fractions of seconds go by. It's really distracting and annoying.
How do I get the titles to remain on screen and not fade in and out? I had it just how I wanted it, but now we're rapidly approaching my son's birthday, and the video is suddenly a mess.
How do I fix this?I am working with the very same concept for my project and the auto fade in and out has messed everything up. If I hear or a fix I'll be sure to reply here to let you know!

Welcome to the Canon Forum.
ISO, shutter speed and aperture are all set automatically by the camera while shooting video. You can switch to manual exposure, allowing you to manually set these. To do this:
Press MENU.
Select [Movie Exposure] under the first menu tab.
Select [Manual].
To set the ISO speed, press the FLASH button, then turn the MAIN DIAL.

Its success really depends on the rest of the network that I dont know about.
If you hosts that you are using to PING/ICMP through the ASA are connected to the same network as the ASAs interface then you will have to make sure that the hosts both have routes towards the other network.
Also if on the "outside" of the ASA there are additional networking devices then you have to configure default route on the ASA also as mentioned in the other discussion.

The above replys ACL was just an example of the configuration format. If you wanted to allow ICMP then you would also have to allow ICMP

I dont see anything else wrong with the ASA configuration related to ICMP other than possibly the lacking of default route and allowing the ICMP from the "outside" with the ACL "OUTSIDE-IN".
Go through the network setup from one host to the other. On each step confirm that that device has route towards both of the networks. Otherwise the devices will naturally not be able to forward the ICMP messages from end to end.
