On demand and HBO go

I just upgrade to cable a few days ago and other than the first night, I have not been able to watch on demand programming both online via the computer and on my X1 box. Most programs state that I need to subscribe in order to view them, such as HBO, etc. The network channels give me an error code. I am also not able to sign into HBO go app. It tells me I need to subscribe. Very disappointed. We decided to go with Comcast over renewing our contract with Dish. We don't watch live TV so we are paying for cable we don't use and haven't been able to use since the install date. When I called they did nothing but fill out a "trouble ticket" and they could not even give me a specific day that it would be fixed by or that I would receive and update on via phone. We signed a 2 year agreement a few days ago but we have 30 days to cancel, and we will be doing that if we can not get this working ASAP.

    I watched both iron man 3 and plans using starz on demand and my tv is turned on with the 3d settings but when watching the movies the screen cuts in half either you can pick horizontal pictures of the same movie or vertical how do I get the 3D movie to work and show me full picture?

    That is exactly how 3D is supposed to work, what kind of glasses do you have? Are the settings on your tv correct? (is your tv a 3D capable tv?)  If you try to watch a 3D movie but your tv is NOT 3D compatable then you will get duel screens.

    I purchased both the apple tv and VGA connections for my iPad so I can mirror/project this image onto my television. When I purchased both of these items from the store, I was told it would support this feature. Is there anything in development to allow me to mirror the image or connect it via the VGA connector to my television?

    in SAP parlance we frequently come across two words Demands  and Receipts
    list of all demands as for as i know are  are  customer demand ,sales order demand,demand from MD61 (pir),demand created from planning book .would you please list out all demands relevant to SCM you have come across so far?.
    receipts are planned orders emerging from IHP,(inhouse production ),PR (procurement proposals) this is as far as i know
    would you please list out all demands and receipts under the umbrella of SAP that you have come across in your practical working business environment  .cpz your answer will remove my confusion
    i understand my questions would be silly to you ,but your inputs will help me gain a mastery over SCM ...if you look at SNP optimizer SDP94 screen you will find many demand items and receipt items  followed by total demand and total receipts-where are they emerging from i could see there is one "distribution demand (planned )  and distribution demand(confirmed) ,where it is emerginfg from.....am a bit perplexed about this demand and receipt theory.
    please clear my confusion.....

    Demand & Receipt Elements are MRP Elements in ECC and those map to ATP Categories in APO. To see the entire list of ATP Categories use configuration /SAPAPO/ATPC03. There you can see 4 types of Categories - Requirements (Demand), Receipts (Supply), Forecast (Demand) and Stock (Supply).
    Any data in Order Live Cache (typically interfaced from ECC using CIF but could also be loaded from external systems) must have an ATP Category identifying the specific element. It is useful to differentiate planned elements - planned orders, etc from firm elements - sales orders, deliveries, production orders, etc. Usually (but not always) planned elements are managed (created/ modified) by APO but firm elements are not changed by APO planning.
    SNP Planning books display this data by assigning ATP Category Groups (defined in transaction /SAPAPO/SNPCG) to Key Figures during Planning Area definition. Check definition of SAP delivered Planning Area such as 9ASNP02 to see how key figures are mapped to ATP Category Groups.
    I would suggest getting your APO basics clarified by reading a introductory book like "Supply Chain Management with SAP APO"  By Jörg Thomas Dickersbach.

  • 5.1 audio no longer works on Netflix and HBO Go

    I've noticed recently that 5.1 audio no longer works on Netflix and HBO Go. Those are the only apps I really use, so I can't speak for any others. My receiver lights up all of the speaker lights that it normally would for 5.1 audio, but it displays "Stereo" and I'm only getting stereo sound from my speakers for anything I play from those sources. The receiver works as it is supposed to for all of my other A/V devices. I tried restarting and restoring, but the problem remains. I can't think of anything else to do.

    @sean0826 -- this is why you don't use Java menus. Even javascript menus are a bad idea; you need to have a secondary menu system ANYTIME you have a menu system that requires a plugin or scripting to be active. NOT EVERYONE browses with that stuff on.
    The only thing you can do for now is FTP to your site and add in static menus (like we did in the "old days" at the bottom of the page; or rip out the Java Menus and install static or CSS versions.
    BTW where are you rmenus supposed to be. I have opera, safari, ff, and a few others. they all look the same. So if that's true, it's the plugin that's the problem, not safari.
    In Opera Pogo.com works. java loads, the game is there. It does have some drawing issues but not surprised.
    In Safair Pogo works fine. Just played a game of chess.

    I can see these details from opt11 . But i want to use these data points further for a custom developments .
    So please let me know , in which table these entries sit ? There has to be a standard table for the same .

    You can also improve changing the data points in CTM global setting /SAPAPO/CTMCUST...
    Enable check box : Asynchronous Update and Define appropriate Packet Size and also update
    Package Size for Creating Orders
    Package Size for Creating Pegging Rels
    Package Size for Order Selection
    Below example illustrates the improved performance by enabling check box : Asynchronous Update and Define appropriate Packet Size
    If you set the indicator, CTM first plans the number of demands
    specified in the Package size field. Then the system creates the
    corresponding orders in the liveCache. At the same time, CTM continues
    with the planning for the remaining demands.
    If you do not set the indicator, the system first plans all demands and
    then creates the orders in the liveCache.
    Example
    You want to use the asynchronous liveCache update for 20000 demands.
    Enter 1000 as the package size. The system attempts to fulfill the first
    1000 demands. The orders for these demands are created in the liveCache,
    whilst CTM planning continues for the remaining 19000 demands."
    We had similar issue and CTM performance improved significantly after updating the above setting.

  • CTM  with Inbound Quota..with demand and time split

    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to use two different quota figures for two different time periods( with no overlap).
    Product X at Loc1 is supplied by Vendor1 and Vendor2.
    Inbound Quota with Demand Split is used as given below:
    A) 1st Jan2011 to 31st Dec2012     Quota for Vendor1= 80   Quota for Vendor1= 20
    B) 1st Jan2013 to 31st Dec 2099    Quota for Vendor1= 50   Quota for Vendor1= 50
    But CTM considers it as given below.
    A) 1st Jan2011 to 31st Dec9999     Quota for Vendor1= 80   Quota for Vendor1= 20
    B) 1st Jan2013 to 31st Dec 9999    Quota for Vendor1= 50   Quota for Vendor1= 50
    I have two queries....Why CTM is not considering correct time period for Line A? Also why its taking end point as 31st Dec 9999 and not 31st Dec 2099?

    Thanks for the input.
    However, this does not solve the issue with decreasing time phased safety stock in combination with multiple demand priorities.
    If you run CTM with the settings you mentioned, it will respect the demand priorities, but builds up safety stock when the time phased safety stock is decreasing. (This is a release restriction). According to the documentation available, you should run CTM with the additional settings 'do not plan demand' and 'consider shortage' to overcome this. However, it does not repect the other demand priorities anymore. I tried multiple runs (with use of pegging, with different planning settings), but they all do not lead to the required result.

    My organization is considering implementing Oracle iSupplier. In playing with this in a test environment, I see that sales order demand and inventory levels are not pulled into the forecast. All I have been able to do is a blanket release against the blanket agreement and the qty that I put on the release is passed to the supplier side of the application. Is that it? I was hoping to have a more sophisticated calc on demand. Do I not have this setup correctly in me test environment?

    There is no way to translate demand from Sales orders into PO automatically. You have a couple of options
    1) Use ATO / back-to-back order functionality. That will create a Requisition / PO whenever a order is booked. And the PO will be visible in iSupplier. However, this will NOT look at onhand.
    2) Run min-max planning. This will automatically create requisitions / PO when your onhand falls below required minimum. You can configure this to optionally look at open sales orders. Once the PO is approved, it will show up on iSupplier.

  • Apple TV, Netflix and HBO GO all running slow and blurry screen

    I am really frustrated as of now with apple tv, netflix and hbo go. I just moved into a new apartment and my internet works perfectly fine, but now when I turn on netflix or HBO go, the little spinning flower thing runs forever, then it buffers and pauses for long periods of time, and when it does work the picture quality is blurry to how it used to be before. A week ago everything ran perfect and the picutre was great. Now when I try to watch netflix and hbo go, it has terrible streaming and the picture quality is far from clear.
    If anyone can please offer any solutions or help that would be greatly appreciated. Again, I do not think it's my internet because my wifi on my computer and phone both work great. I have also heard that this may have something to do with a new update on the apple tv, but if anyone can offer some help on how to fix this annoying issue that would be great.

    That does not rule out your network as the issue. I would check for interference using istumbler or netstumbler, if on wifi try ethernet as well.

  • Difference in the Demand and the Released Demand to SNP for the month M0

    I have released the demand from DP to SNP of a market on 03.02.2010 .
    Demand of M0 there is difference between the Forecast of the user and the demand released to the SNP.
    For rest of the months the demand Forecasted by the user and the demand released to the SNP is matching.
    I hope this difference is because I had released the demand on 03.02.2010, so the demand of the 01.02.2010 & 02.02.2010
    was not released to SNP. This is my guess only.
    Please tell me whether I am correct or not ?
    If I am wrong, please tell me the reasons for the difference in the month M0.

    Hi Balu ,
    If your forecast is released on 03022010 and you have a setting for period split as 2, then your understanding is correct .
    The M0 demand /forecast volume will be reduced by the qty of deliveries you made on 01 & 02022010 due to the requirement stateliest and forecast consumption process which is a std functionality.
    So please check if diff in original demand and released demand is same as of invoiced qty .. this will ensure your understanding.
    Also other factor that could affect the SNP released demand qty is 'Backward/Forward consumption period' in material master/product master.This is the period for forecast consumption and the direction depends on the defined consumption mode-
    so in future you could have a scenario that you have maintained forward consumption as ex. 60 days and there is no forecast in M0 but have some excess deliveries on 01M02010 and then the next months forecast will be consumed by that excess qty of delivery in M0 2010 and you would get diff volume in M12010 month.
    Hope this clears the doubt...

    Can anyone tell me why this picture changes color when I try to download/upload it?  It is the exact same picture I have taken from the same location.  The image on the left is via preview and the image on the right is what is shows like when I try to download it.  I have emailed it to myself and it shows fine on the computer and in CS4, but when I look at the download via my phone or on another computer it shows the wonky color on the right.  I have checked the color space shows RGB/8 bit.  Any ideas why or how to fix it?  It isn't with any one specific session.... and I've tried it on both my desktop and my laptop- saved image to an external hard drive and to drop box.  I've tried sending the image to canvas on demand, my email, mpxipro, POST editing- all the same result.  Please HELP!!  What am I doing wrong?

    Most of the time you see something like that. The image in question has a color profile other then sRGB. Some image viewers/displayers are color managed and others are not.  So the image do not look the same in all of the applications you use. So colors seem to change.
    Try converting it to sRGB color and see if then looks the same all around. Also I think PC and Mac displays are set to different gamma something like 1.8 and 2.2
    Though I'm colorblind I even see color variations.

    I am facing strange issues -
    1: Purchaser changes Need By and Promise Date in Purchase Order. But when we query item in Supply/Demand, it shows old dates.
    2: There are few items where purchase orders are not shows.
    I verified that -
    1: Planning Manager is running
    2: The Subinventory on Purchase Order is Nettable
    3: PO is approved
    Appreciate any pointers on this please.

    I subscribed to HBO but it promts me to install Widevine wich I can't. I just get the message that it is not secure etc. Been checking the threads here and elsewhere with mixed result: it seems not to be a good thing to install on a mac? Or?
    And in case it is ok, how do I install it (I get a pop-up saying that the programme cannot be installed since it comes from an unsecured location).
    I would however want to watch my HBO! Or shall I raise **** with them?
