On Demand error code SRM-0x0011

We keep getting this error code when we try to watch TV programs or movies.  It has been going on for a few days.  I called yesterday and did what the support tech told me but with no success.  We unplugged and restarted, he refreshed but On Demand isn't working with any of our boxes.  How do we get this problem fixed?  We've never had this problem before.

    I finally broke down and rented a movie I have been wanting to see since it's release. I got roughly 10 minutes into it and suddenly the screen went black and stopped playing. I finally got the screen back to the On demand selection screen and tried to restart the movie. After a couple of seconds, the info box comes up and says "We're unable to process your request at this time. Please go to www.comcast.com/help. SRM-0x0011". I checked my coax connections, unplugged my box from my surge protector, waited 20 minutes and replugged it into the wall. All the responses I saw for my particular problem had a tech responding. Help anyone.. I really wanna watch The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey, or at least a refund for it. Thanks.

    Apologies for the issue and the experience that you described above. In reviewing your account I do see a technician visit currently scheduled for July 2 so that we can get this issue identified and resolved. We will also get your account credited for the movie.

  • G4 Box On Demand Error Code YVM105

    I have the new G4 Box.
    I am getting the error code YVM105 for the On Demand Players except BBC and ITV.
    However on my original BT YouView Box which is now in the bedroom all On Demand Players are working 100%.
    Do I have a faulty G4 Box or is there a resolution to sort this problem?

    You could try restarting your Youview box ...Press the standby button on top of the G4 for about 8 seconds or more.
    Incidently was the YVM105 the first error/problem you had with those players or did you find they simply humg whilst loading on a previous occasion

    I get error code cmob 0x002 when I try to scroll through movie titles to find the one i want to watch on my on demand channel. This has been happening for 2 days now.

    It's usually a billing or account coding issue. Call the X1 help line...

  • Error code:"4MOT/2/40000004: ODD" means what?

    I do the hardware test on my two iMac 24".
    Both show error code "4MOT/2/40000004: ODD".
    Does anybody know what it means?

    Re: your more recent post that got disappeared, Apple's service and parts channel operates on a very different basis to its supply channel. Supply builds to order and ships direct at the beginning of a product lifecycle to meet demand, and then as the production capacity has increased beyond demand, pre-builds inventory and ships through distribution and starts deviating parts supply to the service channel.
    The service channel receives shipments of parts in batches, when the supply channel can spare them from production. Service then ships out parts as needed for repairs. Defects are usually proportionate to the age of the machine, so there is less need for spares at the beginning of a product life cycle, so service takes a low priority over production. The best thing to do with a mac that is dead on arrival is to return it and get a new one, since it will take ages to repair it. Apple then repairs, refurbishes and resells your old system, when service has capacity to do so.

  • On demand error - box does not have enough credit

    For the duration of the day I cannot watch free on demand programs. For example, when I attempt to play an NBC show it states that that my box does not have enough credit and to call customer service. I am calling the The number given and entering the code 8362 as given in the error message. The line rings and then disconnects. I tried calling the customer svc nbr specified in the customer svc screen from the menu option. It rings and then just disconnects. Very disappointed that a company like Verizon does not have the methods or technology to accept inbound calls to their customer service centers. I am posting here in hopes of obtaining some support from verizon since I cannot obtain support by calling.

    I need some help to get the Software Updates Synchronization to work again.
    Some days ago the Software Updates Synchronization ended to work, with the error code 0X80131500.
    (I have cleaned out, and now only test with updates for Skype and Windows 8, normally we only use the Software Updates for third-party updates via Secunia CSI)
    In SMS_WSUS_SYNC_MANAGER, you will see the following error:
     WSUS Synchronization failed.
     Message: Failed to sync some of the updates.
     Source: Microsoft.SystemsManagementServer.SoftwareUpdatesManagement.WsusSyncAction.WSyncAction.SyncUpdates.

    I observed a similar error in a topology that had a CAS and 2 primary child sites.  The CAS seemed to update without issue, but the primary server reported 0X80131500.  I was not able to locate the SMSSQLCLR
    node in any of the 3 site databases.  It appears that some updates worked but at 10% it failed:
    In my case, I restarted the child site SUP and forced sync on the CAS again.  It seems to be doing better now.  This might have just been an intermittent error...

  • RC Error Code = 0x84020020

    Does anyone know what this error code means.  I am loading content using Import Manager into SRM-MDM and receiving this error message.  The content has loaded successfully on another server/repository but not this one.
    The actual message reads
    "Import failed.  Partial set failure with RC error code = <0x84020020> for record number 0 through 292.  Import action: None Source record no: 1"
    We are using SRM MDM Version 5.5 SP5 (5.5.42.48)

  • Error code -34

    Can someone please help me. Iv have my wedding movie imported into imovie and have done all the editing and am now trying to export it so i can burn a DVD. I have done this before with another movie and it worked fine. It will export it as a tiny movie but not as a large one it gets to the end and says it cannot complete an (error code -34) occurred. Can someone please help me as im starting to lose it now. Thanks

    I have about 6gb on my laptop but have an external hard drive it has 200gb free but is only USB. I have tried this but keep getting the same error. Is this because it is USB?
    Using a USB drive would probably not generate this particular error. I do, however, recommend use of a firewire hard drive interface where large files are concerned and high throughput consistency is demanded (e.g., with DV capture without dropped frames). In this case, it is most likely that your "large" file output/sharing is using all available space on your start-up drive which is why I told you to get rid of any files that aren't needed. (For instance, are your project "source" files located n the "start-up drive or your external USB drive?) One basic "rule of thumb" is to have 3 times as much space available on your start-up as is required for your source file if working exclusively on the start-up drive before even beginning your project. This, of course, assumes that you are following a secondary "rule of thumb" which implies that each stage of your editing work flow progresses from one compression format to another of equal or more compression.
    For example, lets say want to import an SD 13 GB DV compressed source file for editing in iMovie '08. By this rule I would like to have about 39 GBs available before even starting my project. When I am finished editing lets say I want to export the content as an AIC/AIFF file for chaptering and audio work in GarageBand. This will likely produce a second file on the order of 9-10 GBs. When done in GarageBand, I decided to "send" the data to iDVD which does not significantly increase my file size since the chapter track is a text track of very small size and the PCM audio is already prepared for multiplexing in iDVD. At this point iDVD will take my GarageBand data and convert the video to M2V and multiplex it with the PCM to create VOB files on the order of 3-4 GBs. Thus, the total hard drive space used for my projects using this work flow was about 13GBs + 9-10GBs + 3-4GBs or a total of 25-27GBs which doesn't include any temporary caching the various applications may need during processing.
    In addition, certain sharing/exporting work flows create duplicate files which may be stored on your start-up drive and about which you should be aware. For instance, if you share an iMovie project to iTunes, one copy is stored in the start-up drive named_Project package files, a second is stored in your "iMovie Sharing > iTunes" folder on your start-up drive and, if your iTunes preference is still defaulted to "copy" files to the iTunes library, a third copy of your project output would be stored in the iTunes library on either your start-up or external drive as you specify. As you can see, it is often easy to "use" more hard drive space than you realize when working in iMovie. My best guess is that your "long" project export is eating up your entire 6GBs of free space between the creating of output files and the use of temporary caching performed in support of the creating of these shared/exported files.

    Got an Error message : err-0x000f. Called into the customer service line.... What a joke, tried to tell me to just reset the DVD by unplugging this.<br>What a joke now, can't get time on demand. Gave me a ticket number and have to wait for a service call. Sunday, 5 days away. Comcast is a joke and I truly need to cancel this god awful Always something.

    I feel your pain.  Dealing with Comcast will crush your faith in the longterm viability of the American economy, if not your faith in humanity itself.  You start to believe that it really is possible that at some point in the near future apes will outsmart and enslave us.  I get cl-0x000f every couple months.  As you indicate, the "unplug your box to reset it" instruction is not sufficient to fix the problem.  (But see my suggestion #2 beow. )  Also of little value is having Comcast send a reset signal to your box.  That never works.  The most hopeful thing I ever got from phone support was an acknowledgement that they had detected a problem on the network in my neighborhood which could impact OnDemand.  They said they would send a technician to my neighborhood to fix the problem, then call me back when it was fixed.  I never got a phone call back and two weeks later I was still getting the error code.  The point is, phone support is of little value except for paying your bill.  They are good at taking money but not at providing service.  For service, you must take matters into your own hands.  Here are the two things that I have found will fix error cl-0x000f:  (1)  Get a new box.  Take the cable box to a Comcast office and swap it for a new one.  It's free and no one has ever questioned me about why I am constantly picking up new boxes.  Let's face it, no one knows how bad Comcast technology is better than their own employees.  They happitly give me a new box.  I take it home and activate it.  OnDemand will then work for a couple more months before the dreaded cl-0x000f once again infects my system.  (2) Disconnect your modem before resetting the box.  This has only worked for me twice, but it is worth a shot.  If you have an Xfinity modem/router, as I do, that box is serving as a hotspot for your neighborhood.  Besides providing wifi in your home, a separate (supposedly) wifi signal is broadcast to your neighborhood.  The reliability of OnDemand seemed to decline below its already abysmal level once the hotspot technology was implemented.   So before driving the box back to the Comcast office, I try unplugging the modem/router before unplugging the cable box.  This doesn't always work.  But on two occasions it has.  Maybe it was just coincidence.  But reseting has never worked for me unless I first unplug the modem/router.   If it does work, I can then reconnect the router and the internet comes back online without disturbing OnDemand.  If it doesn't work, I take the box to the Comcast office and switch it out.  The important thing is to not stress out about it.  There are people in this world who don't have enuogh food to eat each day, or who live in fear that their house will be blown to pieces by a bomb as they sleep in the night.  We are fortunate enough to live in a country with adequate food and tremendous security systems.  The fact that our cable TV company can't provide reliable OnDemand may make us question American technology, but it is a miniscule inconvenience compared to what most of the world has to deal with.

    I've been receiving this error code, CL-0x000f, for well over a month now when trying to access the on-demand programming. It just started out of the blue one day. I've called and things have been reset and it didn't fix it. A tech came out to the house to check connections and everything was good inside the house...he said that the signal seemed weak on the line coming in (from the comcast side).  I was informed that he was going to talk to his boss and I should receive a call within a day or two...it's now been several weeks and I've yet to hear from anyone. I called again and went through the whole sending a signal thing and, yet again, it still didn't solve the issue. I'm becoming frustrated. I'm paying for this services I can't even use. I can't get on demand, I can't search for shows, I can't even go to on-demand channels from the guide. I just want this fixed.

    I was enjoying my first day of BT Vision until i tried to downlaod some On Demand. I tried a free music video to start with (Queen) and after I put in the PIN I get "oops there's a problem" with error code VPE 110.

    Sorry wee bit confused here (not that that's unusual). Are there some music videos you have to pay for and some for free? As far as I'm aware, music should all be free if you're on the £12.50 package. I think there may be a configuration issue. Sometimes it tales a little while to get up and running properly. Wait until after the **bleep** crows, reboot the box (unplug, make tea, plug back in again) and check again. If you still have some showing up with a price you'll need to contact support.
    Keep an eye on your next bill. If you get charged for something which should have been free then make sure and get a refund.
    I'm also slightly confused about the PIN. I assume you have set up a PIN on rentals from what you've been saying. Video on Demand that's marked as free shouldn't ask you for the rental PIN. Something odd going on here.
    Oh for **bleeps** sake. Can't even refer to a male chicken now without the smut filter sounding a red alert. I'm surprised it let "wee" go.
