On first plug-in of iPhone 4S, how long should the apple appear?
My new iPhone 4 has been plugged in for the first time for about 2 hours. Immediately upon plug-in, the Apple logo appears, but nothing more happens. All buttons are non-responsive.
Reset the iPhone, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to restart. Usually takes about 10 seconds of holding both buttons.
If still nothing and you decide to Restore again. Restart computer. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer. Hold both home and power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. This usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Restore the iPhone Firmware.
If still problem, all iPhone 4S have full Warranty, make Genius Reservation and take iPhone to Apple for resolution.

Where did you buy it? You have to be careful if you got a code from eBay or similar "retailers"... -

Mine's usually about 5 minutes, but it wouldn't be more than 30-40, if it's any longer.......
You can't do much else besides pull the plug. If it causes further problems you should be able to restore as below:
Get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
1. Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
2. Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
3. Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
4. Open iTunes.
5. Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
On the other hand you may be able to simply start the update again. If however the update continues to fail, you should try the restore routine above. -

Mine took about an hour or so but it mostly depends on your modem and processor speeds. You can check the progress by clicking your iphone on the left and then checking the download progress. As long as that is moving I would just leave it and wait but don't let your computer shut down.

For a single use or how long will the battery last until it needs to be replaced? For single use, it depends on what you are doing when using you mac. I find that when using mine I get about 6-6 1/2 hours just using it to browse the internet before I need to recharge it. If it is one of the newer Macbook Pros that claim to have a 7 hour battery life, It can last up to 5 years. It depends on the amount of files you are transferring and the method you are using to transfer your files (Wi-Fi or Ethernet). Both methods are slow and migration would take hours if you need to transfer a lot of files.

I think that the battery is dead because , if you don't charge it for a long time the battery will ruin. You must wait, with the charger plugged, for a long time to turn it on. it could be also a worse problem and you have to replace your battery

Once you have tapped to install the app and input your apple ID it will appead on the home screen, where you will see a progress bar as it downloads and installs, that app should be fairly small so it should be a minutes or less on a good connection. If you can't see it, swipe left a few times until you see a search bar, type in the app name and will search the iPad for it

Essentially it should not take too long (in my experience 20 minutes max from start to finish) although there are many, many factors that can affect the time taken to download and install the upgrade. Namely the reliability of your broadband connection, reliability of your router/firewall; reliability of the wireless connection (assuming you connect to your router wirelessly); downstream bandwidth supplied to your location by your ISP; the 'health' of your iMac; how much disk space for example? This is not an exhaustive list by any means.
If it's any help I would try the wired connection (ethernet) rather than wireless, I would log into your router's interface and double-check it's maintaining a good connection - if necessary reboot the router and try the upgrade again. Try and make sure there's only you using it at the time you do the upgrade.
