On installing Photoshop CC, I received an Installation Failed message (see below). What do I do now?
After downloading and installing Photoshop CC for the first time on a 64-bit Windows 7.1 PC with 8GB of RAM, I received the message: "Installation Failed.Installation completed though some optional components failed to install correctly (6)." What do I do now? Photoshop 6 and Lightroom 5 are previously installed on this PC and I have been a PS user since PS7.

What now?This is how we resolved it. Used a 32GB Flash Drive formatted the drive HFS+ and then copied the PKG folder and files and then brought them to the target Mac and copied the files over and ran the PKG and Exceptions install. Everything seems to be installing fine now.

I just purchased adobe creative cloud, and when I try to install certain apps they came up with an "installation failed" message.
When I click the learn more, it prompts me to another window. If I click, windows photo viewer can not open the file type. I'm sure there is a simple solution, please help.Nobody can tell you anything without proper system information and installation logs. And well, if the files even attempt to open in Photo Viewer, you have other problems than your CC install to boot...

Can't Install Illustrator CS6 or InDesign CS6 - Installation Failed
Since I joinded Adobe Creative Cloud, I've been trying to install some of the app available on the Adobe Application Manager.
I've had a lot of trouble with installs especially wiht AI CS6 and InDesign CS6.
Both won't install after downloading.
I get Installation Failed messages witht he following details:

I contacted Adobe Live help without any success.
They said to try to reinstall with a new user on my computer (which I did) and as I expected it didn't work.
I also red on the forum about maybe trying to download the Trials and that my Adobe ID would update those to full version but the installs also failed there.
I'm running OSX 10.7.3.
I used to have CS5 installed on my computer.
Now only Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Dreamweaver CS6 got installed.
Anyone have an idea what's happenning?

Try the below solution and check if you are able to install the software without the error.
Navigate to: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/PDFL/10.9/Fonts/
To find Library open Finder click on Go > Go to Folder and type in /Library and click on OK.
Delete the Font by the name AdobeFanHeitiStd-Bold.otf
Next open Font Book.
To open Fonts Book do a search in Spot Light for Fonts Book
Check if AdobeFanHeitiStd-Bold.otf is present, if it is present delete it from Fonts Book too.
Once you do that try installing the software.
Hope it works.

hello i have a imac and i want to install cs6 photoshop and i keep getting installation failed indicating i have a conflicting version must be removed before installing the current media. That is precisely the WRONG thing to do. You should never delete, but uninstall.
Now you need to look for, download and run the Adobe CS Cleaner tool. -

I just downloaded and installed Photoshop cc and the Camera Raw version is not the latest one available,so now I can no longer open files from my Nikon D750! Can I update ACR?
I have been using the new version of ACR with PS6 and have been able to open the D750 files,now I'm stuck.

That's easy.
2 methods:
1. Change the Startup Disk in System Preferences, then restart:
2. Hold down the "Option" key while starting or restarting the Mac. Then chosse the partition that you want to startup from.
The 1st mehtod is the quickest, because you don't have the additional step of choosing the drive. Plus, whatever you have selected in System Preferences becomes the default startup drive. -
