On iOS7, Korean Language Input Method with serious error.

Korean Input Method for iOS7 has serious problems with bluetooth keyboard.
It has absolutely incorrect state transition for the keyboard typings.
Keyboard input and cursor moving are independently acting.
On the word processing apps, when the line changing occurs while typing, error comes on the first word.
It looks like to have very poor performance while typing.
clearing last status of input and transiting to a new state to a new word-syllable are not working properly.
Input method on iOS5 is much stable and better than on iOS7.
iOS7 Korean Input Method really makes me annoying.

For Apple to see this, you need to repost it at

  • Korean direct input method in tiger Mac OS X 10.4.3

    Hello,
I need to use the korean direct input method in tiger Mac OS X 10.4.3
but I can not find the icon or some bars to choose for the direct input in korean input menu.
the korean direct input is used to be in Mac OS X 10.3
    can someone help me out?
    I really need this function.
    Power Mac G5 Quad 2.5G   Mac OS X (10.4.3)

Yes, it makes different when I tied with boris graffiti 4.0.
when I type korean word in boris graffiti program using "direct input" on mac os x 10.3, there is no promblem typing korean.
But using "syllable" in mac os x 10.4, when I type the korean letter, it automatical erase the word that I typed.
for example, if I type "gift to my friend" in korean, I try to type "g" and when I type "i", "g" is erased.
And using "word" option, the problem is whenever I use space bar or enter key between word, and try to enter the next word, the previous word I typed is erased,
for example, "gift to my friend", I type "gift" and I need to enter space between "gift" and "to",
so after press the spase bar, and try to type "to", the "gift" is erased.
I hope that you could understand what I tring to explain, and I was wondering if there is any solution for this problem.

  • Latin Language Input Method

Hi. I am looking for Input Method for Latin Language (language that still used in Roman Catholic Church). Microsoft provides this language in Office, but not in Windows 8(.1) via Control Panel in language input method. I cannot synchronize the input method
between Windows and Office as well as Indonesian, Italian, Thai, etc. I think many people still need this language to work with Ecclesial work such as daily prayer in Latin language or bible study. Is there any update for this language? If not, I ask Microsoft
to provide Windows update for Roman Latin language. Thank you very much.

    Hi marcellius.ac,
" Microsoft provides this language in Office, but not in Windows 8(.1) via Control Panel in language input method."
Do you mean there is nowhere to install the language or this specific language is not listed ?
Please refer to the following link to install the language package and configure it .
    Change your language or keyboard

Here is a link for reference of all the language options :
    Language packs

  • How to STOP OS X from automatically changing between language input methods

I want to know if there is a way in OS X Leopard to stop the system from automatically changing the language input method. I use English and Japanese on my computer, but this would apply to anyone using more than one input method.
For example, when I click on a Japanese-language file, the system automatically changes input to Kotoeri (the Japanese-language input method). When I then click on an English-language file it usually, but not always, changes back to English input. But I almost never want to TYPE in Japanese. I just need to be able to read Japanese and to cut and paste from Japanese language files. It is very annoying when I start typing in an English-language file and find the input method has been changed to kotoeri without me realizing it—everything comes out in meaningless Japanese. When I want to type in Japanese, I want to manually change to the Japanese input system. That is, I want English to always be the default input method even if I am manipulating Japanese-language files.
So, I’m wondering if there’s a way to set the computer so that it never AUTOMATICALLY switches between the input methods. I want to be able to switch only manually. In the old days of System 7, 8, and 9, there was a third-party control panel you could get that would do this (I think it was called Stay There!) and I don't remember this being a problem in Tiger or earlier versions of OS X. Is anyone aware of any way to do this in Leopard?
    Thank you!
    Colin

Well, I do have it set that way, and I can look up there to see where I am, but in the work I do time is critical and I move back and forth between the two languages frequently. It is really a pain and a waste of time to have to look and make a change that should be unnecessary. The problem is not so much that I don't know where I am. It's that I don't want to ever have to think I MIGHT be in anything but English input unless I specifically want to be. In other words, I need to be able to forget about this problem even being a possibility.

  • Attention, Korean Language Input, very important message from a BB fan

Dear all, who cares about it !!!
Recently I bought a Z10 here in Dubai, paid full in cash. Although I am native Korean living and working in Korea, currently working in Dubai as a PM for a certain project, I have used Black Berry for over 8 years now 6th different models so far, started from black and white in mid 2000 while I was working in US.
Ok, back to Z10, I simply did not imagined that you guys are not supporting Korean language nor Japanese input when I was purchasing. Oh by the way, I am writing this message in order not to criticize, nor give any bad names of Black Berry, like I told you I have been a fan of Black Berry over so~~~~~~~~~~~~many native Korean phones made and especially designed to suit perfectly in Korean mobile environment, you don’t know what’s it like to be a BB fan and user in Korea, very much limited support, assuming that must be the reason why you guys are downsizing or pulling out from the Korea market.
Yesterday, when I was looking for a contact, I had to scroll up and down for a quite long time as most of my contacts in Google and Outlook are written in Korean, leaving me no other options but to scroll up and down, up and down, until I finally hit the one among over 900 contacts. Try it!! It is not fun especially when your boss is waiting for such a contact. That quiet moment, sweating my hand, when my boss is patiently waiting for it, here I am scrolling up and down, up and down, up and down,,,,,assuming, at least, that he was in a good mood that day, thank God!
You know, after all, all I need to do is to spend another several hundred dollars and get used to a different OS environment, but once I do, it will take much harder for me to come back to BB unless I have exceptionally good reason to do so.
I am not asking for awesome WORDS FLY INPUT OPTION for Korean (which I would love to), but let me just simply find my contact by typing in a letter so that I won’t be embarrassed in front of my boss or co-workers. Now, people make fun of my loved BB, because of that simple incident and I don’t like that I think it is absurd.
Hope you guys are getting the message, I don’t know how much longer I can wait until you come up with some solutions and I completely understand your difficulties, I guess, but let us know. If you guys are not planning to support Korean nor Japanese for a while, I need to buy a new phone today. As it is starting to cause some problems at work.
Oh by the way, have you accounted how many Korean or Japanses BB fans out there?? 20M? 30M? I don't know what you guys are doing...
Finally, some of you guys owe some answers for many BB fans out there...
    Sincerely,
From a long time BB fan, who is about to leave that reputation...

  • Input methods with non-java interface?

    Here's the problem,
I have a C++ GUI which has 2 text fields. I need to be able to trap foreign characters in these text fields without touching any of the c++ code. That is, I need to use Java Input methods to do this. Any leads as to how to accomplish this?

I don't think it's possible. Java IMF works with Java AWT and Swing text components only.

  • Why is my InDesign CS4 crashing with serious error detected?

    Hi.
    Can anyone help please?
I am also having this problem. I have a MAC 10.6.8 and am trying to use indesign CS4, but I keep crashing due to a serious error being detected.
I have no idea what this could be.
The action that seems to trigger it is if I try to place multiple images in to a grid format by holding down cmd+shift, however I have also recently installed new fonts in my public library from dafont.
Here is the link to my pastebin crash report > Crash Report - MSADMIN - Pastebin.com
Any help would be so appreciated!
    Thank you in advance.

One of the images causes an error during place.
The error is not handled correctly before InDesign continues with the next place.
At that point a security mechanism steps in and invokes the "protective shutdown".
Fonts are probably not involved, unless your images are actually placed InDesign files, EPS or alike.
You can try to place the images individually, one of them should bring up an error dialog.

  • InDesign CS5 on MAC - ID Crashing (With Serious Error Message)

After going into Document Setup with a document open, and changing the document orientation from landscape to portrait, InDesign CS5 crashes after clicking OK with an error message (see attached screen shot).  I've deleted the settings file by starting ID with Shift+Command+Option+Ctrl held down.  I ran some maintenance using the app OnyX (cleared caches, repaired permissions, etc.) Any idea what would cause this?  I've stopped short of reinstalling, but that may be the only option.  Also, I updated CS5 with the latest updates, and that didn't fix it either.

At this point you may have corrupt recovery data that is preventing ID from starting if it crashes each time you try to launch it. Move everything out of the InDesign Recovery folder intoa safe place (you'll probably want to delete it later, but you don't know yet) and see if ID will launch. Then try opening any files that you were working on at the time of the first crash. Hopefully they aren't damaged and you've only lost work since the last save.
If you have a crash report, pleast post it on pastebin.com, then put a link to it here.

  • Input Methods

    Dear Developers!
I would like to propose you to help me..
Im writing multilingual, platform independed lingual program (editor).
    My question is:
I use Windows XP (for example) and use Ctrl+Shift combination to switch between system input languages.
I use the code to select appropriate Input Method in my program:
    public void switchTo(Locale locale) {
    java.awt.im.InputContext ic = this. getInputContext ();
    ic.selectInputMethod (locale);
    It works!
    So my problem is:
I have to use combination like Ctrl+L to invoke switchTo method. But I want to use for example Ctrl+Shift.
I have created my own languages and layouts and want my program use oly its ignoring systems one. (I implemented Java Inpt Method Framework interfaces like: java.awt.im.spi.InputMethodDescriptor, java.awt.im.spi.InputMethod
How override Ctrl+Shift combination to switch between my extended languages (Input Methods) ? I dont want my program react to standard language switching and use standard Input Method. When I press ctrl+shift I want to switch only between extended languages. Standard language switching should be suppressed absolutely (ignoring).
Now if I use, for example, my English (extended input method) language, and press ctr+shift I switch to another language that, may be is typing incorrect way (double letters and so on).

  • About Input method of TextBox/TextField .

    Hi,
The model of My mobile is NokiaXXXX. I know the textbox (TextBox/TextField) allows user to change the input methods ( ie : "abc", "Abc", "ABC", "Asia language input method" and etc) by '#' key. Can I use control it in MIDP ? I mean there has got any method to change the input-method in coding ?
And I want to write an application supports Internationalization (ie : supports English / Chinese language), those input methods are provided by the phone OS or we have to write the input method by ourselves ?
Please give me some advices. Thx. :)

Hm, i don't understand your intention. On Siemens and Nokia, the change of T9's behavior is the same: if you're in a TextField you may change the input method and language within the boundaries of your mobile. So i think, you don't have to implement your own. Incidentally it's not possible to implement your own input method using java (as far as i know, only the new Motorolla supports java-enabled access to it's T9-impl)

  • All Languages with "Input Method" Other Than "Keyboard" Inaccessible

Sometime earlier today, I lost the ability to type in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese (and in Tamil, Korean and Japanese, essentially those listed to have their input methods as "Input Method" under the "International" pane in "System Preferences"). I have no idea what happened, as I didn't install any updates or do anything with my Mac. I had left it alone for a couple of hours as I went to do some other stuff; before that, I had been able to type in the said languages without problem.
I've tried a lot of things. Googling gave some solutions such as creating a new user account and copying its com.apple.systempreferences.plist from /Users/Library/Preferences (the said languages also work fine in the new user account). Tried that; no luck. I've fiddled around with the preferences under the "International" pane so much that I think I can memorise them by heart, and yet nothing has worked. The languages just don't show up on the language/input bar. All other languages that are listed to have input method as "keyboard" under the "International" pane are fine.
Any ideas what might have gone wrong? Help is much appreciated.

    Hi Tom,
Thanks for the prompt reply! I've just tried that, but unfortunately it doesn't work. I got rid of all the com.apple.---.plist in the folder and rebooted; didn't work. I even copied all the .plist from the new user account to the old user account, but that didn't work either. I'm beginning to wonder whether or not it's some other problem somewhere in the machine that I'm overlooking.
    Thanks.

  • HT5176 What languages are the chinese input methods associated with?

In the help file for iOS Dictation the following paragraph regards to selecting language for dictation
When you want to change the language used for Dictation:
Tap the globe icon to change to the keyboard for that language.
Tap the microphone icon to start Dictation.
Note: To use Dictation, the keyboard language needs to be a supported language. Dictation is designed to recognize the specific accents and dialects of the supported countries listed above. Since every language has its own accents and dialects, the accuracy rate will be higher for native speakers.
Now there are couple chinese input methods for simplified or traditional chinese typing.  However, which one relates to "cantonese"? They both use the same characters but with different pronunciation.

Following up, here is the situation:
Using "Chinese Traditional - Changjie" as input method,
1, dictation WILL listen as Cantonese if SIRI is set to Cantonese-Hong Kong
2, dictation defaults to Mandarin if SIRI is set to English
Further testing concluded that regardless of the input method, as long as Siri is set to Cantonese-Hong Kong the dictation can listen to cantonese, and otherwise it cannot.
Is there a way to individually toggle dictation language?

  • ITABC input method for Chinese language

*Languages and Texts: Input Source: Chinese-Simplified: ITABC*
I recently upgraded from Tiger to Snow Leopard. On Tiger, I found the ITABC input method for Chinese-Simplified language the most useful. Since upgrading to Snow Leopard on my desktop (and also Snow Leopard on new MacBook Pro), the ITABC input method is absent from the Chinese-Simplified Input Sources tab.
Can anyone help me with why this? Can I somehow get the ITABC input back?
    Thank you for any assistance.
    Bones

Isn't the "Pinyin" on the list very similar to ITABC?
If you have problems with it, best to ask on the Chinese-Mac list.

First of all, uninstall it with the uninstaller.
    Then:
    Install the ENGLISH version.
Change the language in the CC app to Korean.
Install the Korean version. (DON't uninstall the English version)
Change back the langauge in the CC app to English.
When your OS is running in English, InDesign will run in English with Korean functionality added, if your OS is running in Korean it will take the Korean User Interface, so let your OS run in English.
Every installer language will add needed plugins for the work with that language. E.g. If I install Hebrew, I get RTL functionality in German version, only if I would change the OS language it would change the language of InDesign, InDesign takes always as UI language the language of the OS if available, if not (in your case you have uninstalled English before), it takes any version which is available in the order of languages specified in the OS.
If you need to run your program in a different language than the OS but you have installed it in the language of the OS it becomes more difficult. You would have to use some system tools which are able to force a program to open with a different language. Most of those tools are freeware.
