On itunes my ipod app is not showing up.

on itunes my ipod showig up but my app tab aint showing up.

Unplugit then replug it and that should work. If not unplug your iPod , on your computer right click my computer>manage>Services>iPod service>right click stop service> Then click restart service.
Pug your iPod back in, and that should fix it.

Does the Ipod Classic 120 GB still connect to itunes? Because mine will not show up at all in itunes!

My Ipod classic will not show up in itunes at all but it says its charging and that it is connected to the computer! I have my itunes updated fully and it still does not work! So i am thinking that maybe its not able to connect anymore because of the new usb connecters or the version of itunes! But i dont know so i really hope i can get this resolved!

I would be concerned too if my iPod was not recognized by iTunes. I found a couple of articles that might help with this.
If you don't see your iPod in the My Computer section of Windows, follow the steps in this article:

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
Next try on another computer to help determine if you have an iPod or computer problem.

I'm not sure what "all" means, unless you state them, so if you have not done so already, you should use this procedure to reset the iPod shuffle

Then, shut down your computer (power off) and start it up, with iPod shuffle NOT connected. Run iTunes. Then, try connecting the iPod shuffle again.
Since this is a first gen iPod shuffle that IS recognized by the computer (so it's probably not a bad USB connector), you can also try using the iPod Reset Utility

New IPod Touch will not show up on iTunes

Hello,
I just purchased an iPod Touch for my son. When we turned it on, it asked to connect to iTunes. I then started iTunes and was told to update it, which I did, after which I connected the IPod. iTunes would not recognize the iPod Touch. We then uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, with the same problem. So effectively I now have a new iPod Touch in the first phase of getting it to work.
I've checked the drivers, and they are fine
I've checked the Apple services and they are running fine
I've shut down nearly all programs that commence on startup, and the iPod will still not show up
I've used all USB ports on my computer, still no response.
I've rebooted the computer numerous times, it still does not show up.
Thanks in advance for any advise that you can give.

hi guys. i have an ipod 7th gen and just recently bought a macbook pro. what i noticed right away was that whenever i try to plug in and update my ipod, the icon shows up on the desktop but the iPod itself does not show up in iTunes. i have to unplug then re-plug in my iPod and that usually does the trick. a trick which is annoying to do because im sure most people with iPods dont have this problem. help please

My 4th gen ipod shuffle will not show up in iTunes, and is not recognized by my computer. I am using a MacBook Pro purchased six months ago, with all software up to date. I am using the most recent version of iTunes,and the original factory connector. It does charge through the computer, but is not seen by the computer. I have gone through all of the recommened troubleshooting, and have verified that the connectors are plugged in properly.

The cable that I'm using came with my 5th gen nano. The 6th gen Ipod shows that it's connected but the computer doesn't see it, so I don't think that it's the cable.
I did try this before when looking at the troubleshooting guide and nothing happens. It just resets and then the Ipod screen tells me that it's connected to the computer. It still is unseen by Itunes and no where to be found in my computer.
I don't have another computer to plug it into at the moment but I may be able to visit a friend that owns a decent PC in a few days. If that doesn't work out I will be getting a new lap top in a week and I'm hoping that it will work on that, but it won't be a Mac. So, let's say it works when I plug it into one of these computers, should I reset my Ipod from there or is there something else I should do?

Start here. Is ti normal and expected for the computer to also see the iPod as a comera since that is how you get saved photos from the iPod to the computer.
