On MacBook Pro, in iCloud I cannot access Apple ID username to change it, from previous user. Can anyone help?
In System Preferences>iCloud: Sign Out, reboot and then Sign In with your ID and password.
If Find My Mac is switched on you will be unable to sign out without the previous owners password.

My girlfriend had a similar issue because her new device was not updated to IOS7 when she turned it on, but her backup point was created using IOS7. Check to be sure the restore point was created and then factory reset the phone after you have updated to 7.

I believe there is no "Export to Tape" feature as appeared in legacy FCP.

I purchased a MacBook Air in July, 2013. I have later learnt that Apple has made iWorks free for OSX Mavericks users. However, the App Store still shows the package as paid for me. I want to know a way of downloading it for free.

First my husband got an iPad then weeks later I did. When setting mine up we used the same email for my Apple ID - everything was fine until last week when I tried to add an app it wouldn't work with respect to password.
He changed his Apple ID on his iPad
I changed mine and everything was great
Today I try to download an app and it is showing our ORIGINAL Apple ID and both of us can't remember password - plus when we go to reset password the Apple ID that shows is his NEW Apple ID on both of our iPads.
So frustratingThis seems so simple now but what a crazy day. What I ended up doing was updating my ipad (music) from my computer to the ipad and for some reason I decided to click on "The Store" and noticed the OLD email address we used for the ORIGINAL Apple ID
So I changed it and uninstalled the app for Facebook as this is the app that I couldn't update and
Boom
Everything is working on my ipad - when I go to download or update an app it shows the NEW Apple ID.
Hope if anyone else has this problem it helps and the only thing now to hope for is The Canucks win their game tonight

I had the replacement hard drive installed and the tech said he left the password open. My old password does not work. I can use the computer, but I cannot log in to add new wireless devices or to download programs. I recently tried to download Adobe Flash player, and I needed to log in but could not. I can downloan security updated from Apple and the machine will shut down and restart, without me needing to enter a password. I bought this computer from Apple directly in 2007. Is this a case where I need to send it to them since they can verify that I own it, or can I get help with this online or from a local computer tech?
If you use Lion, boot into your recovery pressing Command and R buttons, press "Utilities" menu, open Terminal and write:
resetpassword
If you have Snow Leopard, boot into your install DVD pressing C button, click "Utilities" and press Password Reset -
I have a macbook pro, i installed lightroom 5, but i don't have HSL or Tone Curve Can anyone help ?
I installed a few months back, and now i notice i don't have HSL/Color/B&W or Tone curve, Have they been removed in an upgrade ?
Right click on any of the other panels header and a context menu will pop that will let you select the "missing" panels.

When I open the File in Acrobat 9 Pro, the images are displayed.
BUT, when I opne it in ACrobat reader, the images are black boxes !
Would you be kind to help me solve this matter?The boss used the Mac Preview app to fill out the form. Make sure that it is filled out using either Acrobat Pro or Reader to ensure you can use the output.

Upgraded firefox all browsers now cannot connect, OK when back to previous version.Can you help?
I upgraded to firefox 29. Computer was rebooted and all access to internet ceased. Tried other browsers and they would not load either. Checked internet connection OK. Reloaded the older firefox and all works on all browsers. Reluctant to try to upgrade again.
Funny that everyone was willing to reply until you asked the real question, then silence. I've been having the same problem, too. I understand a firewall blocking the new update, but there is no reason why that change should block ALL connections on that computer. I'm hoping someone can post a fix. These system restores are getting very old.

We can definitely try. Could you give me some clues to as what is going on. What happens after you insert the DVD? Does the instaler start? Does the instaler give an error message. and what version of Photoshop are you trying to install?
