  • How to save each section report into different excel sheet?

    Hi all
How to save each section report into different excel sheet?
I have a report in which there are 4 sections north south west east now i need to save north in excel sheet 1 , south in sheet2, west in sheet3, and east in sheet4. under each section there is list report.
Please let me know is it possible are not if possible let me no the procedure to be followed.
    Thank you

If you're running XI 3.1 you might be able to solve this as follows.
    1. Create four users: east, west, north, south
    2. Create a profile that filters on the variable you used for the section/break
    3. Publish the report
3.1 Set users created above to be the enterprise recipients
3.2 Add personalization (the profile created above)
3.3 Check the Deliver objects to each user in Destinations
(3.4 You could use %SI_OWNER% to get a nice suffix to the report name)
This should cause four reports to be created, each with its own "personalized" contents.

  • How to save a photo to my computer screen as wallpaper

How to save a photo in my iphoto library as wallpaper on my computer screen?

In addition to FoxFifth's recommendation, you can also copy the link location, or copy the image, and subsequently paste into another application. In some instances (e.g. openclipart.com), one can drag/drop images into local application documents. Exceptions are images that were created with Adobe Flash, HTML/CSS, or blocked from access by the site owner.
Just because you can copy an image from another location, does not automatically grant you the ownership, or use rights to that image on creative works of your own (e.g. blog).

  • How to save our ipod on our computer ?

do somebody know how to save everything from our ipod on our computer ? because i don't wanna lose everything from my ipod after my updates, thanks,

You should probably disable the autosync functionality first by going to Edit -> Preferences, clicking the Devices tab, and enabilng the prevent iPods,iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing option.
Before doing anything else,  authorize the new computer with your iTunes Account.  In iTunes, choose Store -> Authorize This Computer and enter in the correct credentials. Either copy a backup file from your old computer to your new one or create a new backup of your iPod in iTunes before letting it sync.
Then right->click on your iPod Touch from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes and choose Backup. You might also want to take a look at this article to see what it all included in the backup.

Now onto synced content such as music, videos, photos, etc.  For iTunes purchases you can copy them back into iTunes by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases.  For all other nonpurchased iTunes content, see this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering different software availbable to assist you with this task.

Once the backup has been made and all other synced content such as music, videos, and photos are back in your iTunes library, restore your iPod from that backup you made earlier.  Here is more on backing up and restoring your iPod.

  • How do I convert mail merge documents to individual pdf docs and save each with a field in the merge?

How do I convert mail merge documents to individual pdf docs and save each with a field in the merge?

Is this an actual field, or just some piece of static text somewhere? Either way, you can't do it using the Split Document command. You'll need to use a custom-made script to read the value of this "field" and use it when extracting pages from the file.

  • How to save mail content in IE ?

I can save each mail in Netscape with 'save frame as',but can't save mail in Internet Explorer.
Anyone know how to save mail in IE ?

    We have the Same Problem!
We believe that this issue must be tryed here.
We wish take message's bakup locally in the hard disk without use OutLook or other mail agent.
We need to free space in the server saving the messages locally with file/save as.. the html page, and we cannot make this task with Internet Explorer ver 6.0.
We use Mozilla and operate perfectly , but in IE doesn't.
We believe the solution is "see" the message without Frames.
The question is: How we can convert the message to pure HTML to can save it in IE.
    Thanks,

  • How to save e-mails on the hard drive

How to save my e-mails on the memory of my MacBook Air ?

If you are using a POP account (and it sounds like you are) follow these insructions to keep a copy of mail on the server as well as locally.
Click on the Mail menu and choose Preferences,
Click on the Accounts icon, and select your email account on the left side,
Go to the tab called Advanced, and change the settings of the checkbox called Remove copy from server after retrieving a message:
if that checkbox is UNchecked, then all your messages will always stay on the server
if that checkbox is checked, then the messages will only stay on the server as long as specified in the drop-down box underneath
if that checkbox is checked and the drop-down box is set to Right Away, then your account will behave as a regular POP3 account (the messages will be downloaded to your computer and then removed from the server right away)
    Click OK to confirm

  • How to save messages in mail

I do not know how to save emails to keep them from being delete when cleaning up my messages.
How do I sequester certain messages so this does not happen?
    Thanks

OK, more detail...I have smartboxes that I use...everything with my address goes into that smartbox...even those that I saved in its own "sequestered" area but since they also show up on the smartbox and this is where I usually do my maintanance these still are available for being deleted.  If one uses smartboxes, one is not so smart apparently when doing cleaning on their mail system.
It appears if I want to do what I do I need to do I need to delete my "smartboxes" and forget that I that they are available.
BTW, I am new to the world of Apple. I only have had my Mac Mini installed for less than a month and am trying to get used to the limitations in the world of Apple.  These are big limitations in how to think about the file system, where any output file is only available to the producing software program.  Sandboxing keeps output files limited to only the program that produced them.  Passing a file off to another area (program) is not possible I think in the Apple world, right? Unless you take it out of the Apple world completely and re-introduce it back into a different program by importing it...
I know these limitations are due to the security provided by the OSX system but it is a very different way of thinking that I have yet to get my mind around.

  • How to save an e-mail as an .eml format and customize the name of the file, for example the name of the file would be "date, time, sender, title"?

It would be fantastic if when saving my e-mails to my computer the file name could be customized to be something different that just the title of the message. As I suggested in the question if it could be set up to be "date, time, sender, title" it would be great, a lot of help when passing an .eml file between co-workers, or simply organizing your e-mails in folders. Is it possible and if yes, how is it done?

  • How to get emails on iphone and mail on my computer?

    Hi there,
I use mail on my Mac to get my emails and since getting my iphone i also use this. the problem is when i have mail on my computer open i only get emails sent to it. when i dont have it open i only get them sent to my iphone.
how do i set it up so i will receive all emails on both my phone and computer?
    thanks.

It sounds like you are using a POP3 mail server. POP3 was designed to have only one client, so when a message is downloaded to the client by default it is deleted from the server. This dates from the time when it was considered inconceivable that anyone would have more than one computer to read mail. There is a solution and a workaround. The Solution is to switch to an IMAP mail server. IMAP was designed to support multiple clients; the master copy of each message remains on the server, and the clients sync to it.
The workaround is to change the settings of the mail clients (mail.app and the iPhone) to leave messages on the server. This is not as convenient, because you have to delete them manually, but if you don't have an IMAP server it is the best you can do.

I have three videos to edit. How do I save each one so I can burn them together to a DVD?

Use Share/Computer/AVI to output each video as a DV-AVI.
Then open a new project set up for DV and combine the three AVIs on that timeline. Voila!

  • How to have multiple preference files for Mail on one computer

I would like to have multiple preference files for Mail on one computer, one copy for each person in the organization. I want everybody to log in as the same user. Is this possible?

Since the Mail.app preference file (along with all other application preference files for a user account) is stored in that user's Home folder/directory, I don't believe this is possible.
