On my IPad I cannot update or install any Apps. I've tried restarting and that did not help. The Apps are stuck, darkened and say Waiting.... Please help me figure this issue out.
If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

After updating to iOS7 on my iPhone 4 I cannot enable location services. How do I enable location services? I have tried turning off restrictions but that did not work.
I finally just resolved this after not being able to enable location services since upagrading to iOS 7. Posting the solution here 'cause I couldn't find it anywhere else.
I enabled Restrictions under Settings > General > Restrictions and created a passcode (I'm not sure if this was part of the solution, but it wasn't enabled for me by default.)
In Restrictions, under Privacy, Location Services was set to "Allow Changes" (This still didn't solve the issue of the greyed-out Location Services switch though - I still couldn't turn it on.)
Also in Restrictions, I also switched "Find My Friends" to "Allow Changes"
Once I did step 3, the switch under Settings > Privacy > Location Services was no longer greyed out and could be switched on.

Open Sysem Preferences from your Apple () menu top left in your screen then select the Firewall tab.
Make sure the Firewall is turned off. -

Check by going to iTunes (on iDevice) > downloads and then remove the one that is trying to download, this will then make the others download and when they are finished, the apps will update/install -

When I changed computers, my IPADII did not get the apps I had purchased when synching. It did get themusic, calendar and related items. I tired Restore, but that did not work. what do you suggest?
I would try first in iTunes right clicking on your iPad and selecting "Transfer Purchases from iPad". This will add any new downloads from your iPad to your computer. Then click on the iPad and at the top choose Apps and make sure you have "Sync Apps" checked. I hope that helps.

Instead, you could restart holding the Command and R keys, which will start up on the Recovery partition Lion creates, and then restore the operting system on the main partition.
Before doing anything like erasing the startup drivek maie sure you have an external drive with a backup copy incase things go badly. -
Verizon ellipsys update did not fix the app memory problem!
The Verizon update for the ellipsys did not fix the original issue with the storage of apps on the device. The update gave you the capability to move apps to your tablet space; but, the device's pre installed apps cannot be moved. Those apps take up roughly 500mb of the allotted 1gb of space.
This tablet was meant for my parents to use and they can't be sitting here umistalling and disabling preinstalled apps just to use there tablet.
Please include in the next update a reallocation of memory for more app storage space. I have already moved all available apps over to the tablet space: I have 4 gigs open on their tablet and only 200mb for apps? Crazy sauce...I called Verizon 2nd level tech support and they assured me there is NO ED06 update's said they haven't even finished rolling out ED05 yet. I think they just told you that to get you off the phone. I also have a Fascinate and have had problems and can't get them to replace my phone with a different device. I want the Droid Charge since it is the only other one that has the AMOLED screen that I originally chose the Fascinate for . They had a program that ended on July 28th the day that ED05 rolled out. They offered the Droidx, the Incredible 2, and the Droid Charge to replace the Fascinates that were having trouble. I had called to report my issues during this replacement program but was not told that it was going on and now they won't give me the Droid Charge because it has expired. I think since there are STILL issues-they need to bring this program back and allow us to get a different phone. I have been a customer of Verizon for 10 years and have 7 lines so I am REALLY disappointed that they can't work with me (or other customers ) especially since it is not something we did to the phone. It is a problem with either Verizon or Samsung. I don't know where to go from here but maybe if they hear enough from others that didn't have any success with ED05 they will start to replace them. I will probably go to a higher level to voice my concern. Let me know if anyone has any success getting a new device especially the Droid Charge.

I tried to download games and now the icons are stuck in waiting. I have an Ipad 2.
On my ipad2 I tried to download games from app store. The apps are stuck in waiting mode and not installing. I have downloaded other apps after this happened and the newer apps are working fine.
check your itunes download queue. I had 18 items stuck and it did not try to download anything before I cleared that. I had the same problem with apps stuck in waiting and had tried reboot and deleting the app and retry but what finally solved the issue was clearing the iTunes download queue.

I'm not sure where to turn now and am soooooooooo frustrated! I have been trying to get security update KB2667402 with error code 80004005 to install for a couple months without any success.
So, I finally turned to microsoft tech support... Case# 1186572463
On Fri. Oct. 26 I was on the phone with a microsoft tech for over 3 hours. The tech that took remote access of my computer said she did not know how to fix my problem and that my case would have to be escalated to a higher level and that I would
receive a call back on Mon. Oct. 29th. However, I never got a return call.
Yesterday - Tues. Oct. 30th I called in again and was on the phone for 4.5 hrs with a microsoft tech and he also took remote access of my computer but was not able to fix the problem. I asked to speak to someone at a higher tech level and was told to call
back into the microsoft helpline.
The 3rd call - Although I had been told during the prior 2 calls that I was still covered under my warrenty I was now told that I needed to pay for the support call. It took a while to get that straighteded out and to give all my information again to
the call center but I finally worked with a 3rd tech for over 2 hrs. but had to terminate the call for a conference call I had with a client. The person I worked with said he would call me back between 7-8pmEST so he could continue helping me but I never
got a return call.
I have already invested over 10 hrs in the last few days regarding this issue and fear that if I call back in I will once again start over completely with no success which is why I am reaching out here. Is there anyone that has the knowledge of how to fix
the problem?I've been having the same problem and today did some searching and found something that worked. Check that the download hasn't already been installed - look in the Installed Updates listing for an entry. If it exists there, uninstall it, and
then force a Check For Updates and retry the install. This worked for me and I hope it helps.

My IPad2 will not start after pushing the home button and the sleep button. The Apple logo is on for a short time then the screen goes black.
i just wanted to know what will happen to all of my pictures and videos if i restore my ipad, i dont want to lose that stuff, also i tried to update my ipad, it tells me to plug it in to the computer and when i do, it shows on itunes its extracting the data or something like that, but it does not began the update process, after awhile it just brings up ipad device not found, and then my ipad dies so i charge and let it charge all day till night time and all that pops up is the plug in to the itunes image on my screen, so i need to know what to do, please help me.

After inc with my ipad Shuffle.nstalling WIndows 8 (I had to reformat C:), iTunes will no longer sync with my ipod shuffle.
I had to deauthorize itunes before installing Windows 8, and then reauthorized it after reinstalling it. It syncs with my new Phone 5 but not with my old shuffle.
It acts like it thinks this is a different computer. It says I have authorized tunes on 2 computers.
Note: Computer sees shuffle as a disk and device but will not sync with it.You have to restore the iPod via iTunes and then sync. The iPod is seeing the reformatted computer as a new iTunes library and you can only sync with one iTunes library.

I downloaded the new ios 7 and when I restarted my Ipad it asked for a pastcode I could not remember a pascode and entered my apple id info. now my ipad is disabled and as a senior I don't know how to get my Ipad working again. Any suggestions?
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad into Recovery Mode
