On my iPad power button stopped working

On my iPad power button stops working . Is it any software problem ?

Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

  • Miro's power button stopped working

Suddenly my phone's power button stopped working. I can't lock/unlock the phone nor turn it off :/ Tried to take a screen shot, to restart the device but nothing happened. I dropped the phone only once or twice before months, it hasn't been in touch with water and such. Now I almost can't use my phone unless when I put the phone on charger Did anyone have the same problem? What should I do?

Haven't heard of this before actually. I would recommend that you send this phone to a service center for repair. • A 200 - The 3 little buttons by the power button stopped working

Win XP, SP2, 1Gb memory, nothing else special.
Those pretty little buttons have stopped firing up software. The only function seems to work is that the one next to the power button turns the machine on!
    Any Ideas?
The only recent change is I upgraded Microsoft Office 2003 recently.
The buttons ARE set to fire software up.

    Hi
Well, I dont know why it doesnt work but these 3 little buttons are Toshiba Controls.
Did you try to update the controls driver? You can find it on the Toshiba website under
    http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com and Support & Downloads.
Furthermore you can check the settings. Im not sure but I think you can find them in Control Panel .

  • Ipad all buttons stopped working and volume button has gone haywire

I've had my ipad 4 16g wifi for the last year and a half with no problems whatsoever and then all of a sudden yesterday it's as if it's become possessed! ALL of the buttons have become nonresponsive, so I can't go to the homepage without using my fingers to sweep it, I cannot close my apps because the home button doesn't work, I can't turn the volume up or down using the volume button and I can't even turn off my ipad with the power button. Nothing seems to work and when they do, it works for 10 minutes and goes haywire again.
THe volume button seems to be the worse for some reason with nothing even being close to it, it goes on and off and on and off sporadically for a span of 10 minutes. The ipad can still function but is considerably slower when the volume is going haywire and I have absolutely no clue why. What I have tried so far is resetting all settings and rebooting the ipad multiple times and this has not solved the issue. I have also updated to the latest software since the problem and it hasn't helped either. Any ideas?!!

  • T500 Power Button Stopped Working

The power button on my t500 has gone from flaky to completely useless recently.  A few weeks ago, it required several presses to actuate.  Then, it needed to be plugged in to work, and still required multiple presses.  Now it doesn't work at all.
The LED indicators correctly report the presence of the battery and AC power.  Other than that, the thing is a brick.  Any suggestions on how to move forward with this?

If the button is defective (and not a motherboard failure) you can replace the button with a new keyboard.  While I can't vouch for the quality of the ones found on ebay it may be possible to acquire one at a low enough price to make the test worth it.  If when you take out your keyboard you happen to have one of the original ones which were recalled due to their flex it may still be possible to get it replaced from Lenovo.

  • My power button stopped working all of a sudden now I can't turn my phone on or off, what should I do?

My power button all of a sudden got stuck and doesn't work, so I can't turn my phone on or off

No problem!  FYI, if it's considered accidental damage or past the warranty time, you're looking at $199 USD.  If it's within warranty time and not considered accidental damage by Apple, then it should be free.
Make sure to do a backup to iTunes or iCloud first, though, before you go, and make sure to schedule an appointment online at http://concierge.apple.com/reservation/us/en/techsupport/

  • Ipad power cord stops working after a few months

I have had my ipad for about a year and a half and have gone through four power cords.  The adapter/transformer is not the problem it is the cord itself.  I have used only apple charging cords bought from apple. I don't let kids plug it in or unplug it so that the cord doesn't get damaged but it nothing I do seems to help.  Could it be a problem with the ipad itself?

Sounds like the router firmware needs to be updated or the router replaced with a newer one.

  • My top lock/power button stopped working. It is just stuck and can not be pushed. It happened out of no where I have not dropped my phone or anything it's been in an otterbox the entire time I've had it. It is an iPhone 4 and is still under warranty.

If I make an appt at apple will they fix it with no charge or replace my phone? I have to drive an hour to the nearest store so I don't want to make the trip for nothing.

Apple doesn't fix phones.  They'll replace it on the spot.

  • Ipad 1 power button not working

I dropped some water on my ipad 1 and it was working fine, except that hte power button stopped working. I let it sit there, and dry off, but to no avail. Then I drained the battery but every 30 seconds the symbol where it shows the dead batter blinking shows up without me even pressing anything. So i think that the power button is jammed, but it looks normal.

Take it into your local Apple Retail Store and have a Genius fix it for you. I recommend scheduling an appointment to the Genius bar so you can avoid wait times. Search your local Apple Store in the search bar on the Apple website, and schedule an appointment.

  • Power button not working - officejet pro 8600 +

    Hi,
I just find this problem today (after 1 year of using my officejet pro 8600+) but maybe, it's normal ....
When the control panel is opened, the light on the power button is off and the power button stops working (not possible tu turn the printer on or off) but when the control panel is closed, the power button works as expected !! is this normal ?? I just find this issue today.
    Thanks for any answer,
    sincerly,
    Domi.

Could you provide a few more details?  Do you mean the control panel on your computer?  How is the printer connected - Wireless LAN, LAN or USB?
I have never noticed this with mine, but I usually leave the printer on all the time and let the power saving put it to sleep automatically when not in use.

  • Hello My ipads Power button is not working properly when I press it once it shows option to turn off instead of locking and some other display problems like it suddenly lockes down or display disappears ...Please help. Thank You

Hello My ipads Power button is not working properly when I press it once it shows option to turn off instead of locking and some other display problems like it suddenly lockes down or display disappears ...Please help. Thank You

    Thanks for that information!
I'm sure I will be calling AppleCare, but the problem is, they charge for the phone calls don't they? Because I don't have money to be spending to be on the phone with a support service.
In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.
Also, because my computer is currently down, and I've lost all files how would that effect the use of my iPhone? Because if it doesn't get fixed by the time OS 5 is released, how would I be able to upgrade?!
