Open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. Note the two digits for the Model Identifier displayed in the main panel. Compare with:
Upgrading to Mavericks
You can upgrade to Mavericks from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mavericks can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for FREE.
Upgrading to Mavericks
To upgrade to Mavericks you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Download Mavericks from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mavericks is free. The file is quite large, over 5 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mavericks
1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later
2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 5,1 or later
3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later
5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.

When I try to sync i get the message "original file could not be found. What does that mean?
Have i lost all the music on my computer?iTunes' library keeps track of where your tracks are located. If you move a track, or keep your music on an external drive and don't turn it on before starting iTunes, or your computer's file system becomes corrupted, or iTunes' library gets corrupted, or..., then iTunes goes to where it thinks the file is located, can't find it, and you get !

i dont know how to find it. i sent messages and sound and locked it i said i was going to report it to the police, what does it mean "no location available"
Read here > MobileMe: Troubleshooting the Find My iPhone app
"Your device is no longer locatable" message
If you see this message, Location Services (or Find My iPhone in iOS 3.x) was turned off on your lost device while you were using the app. You will not be able to locate your device anymore, but you can still display a message on its screen, have it play a sound, remotely lock it, or remotely wipe it.

there is alittle lock symbol with a circle around it,and it is in the upper right corner of my ipod touch?? and i cannot sync my music to my ipod
simple... that means your oriantation is locked... turning your ipod.. will not make the screen turn.. you can change this by accessing the multitask menu by double clicking your home button and then scrolling to the left... clicking on the button with a rotating arrow will unlock orientation...
hope this helps...

It won't startup, it just beeps and blinks 3 times continously.Yes, I agree with Kappy, here's a problem with your RAM. It happened to a friend's MacBook after he spilt wine on it. Can someone please help me?
There may be a background application running that accesses mounted volumes. The iPod storage "disk" is a mounted volume. For example, this applicaiton may be something that monitors for data corruption or malware ("viruses"). If you know of such an application that you have running, and it has settings that allow you to ignore particular volumes, set it to ignore the iPod's disk.
Alternately, if you use automatic syncing (instead of the manual method) to load the shuffle, turn OFF the Enable disk use setting (unless you actually use the iPod as a storage disk). With disk use NOT enabled, iTunes only mounts the iPod's disk when syncing. At other times, the iPod's disk is unmounted. Therefore, "other" applications cannot access the iPod's disk and make it "in use." Because the iPod's disk is not mounted (unless iTunes is syncing), you can actually disconnect the iPod without clicking the Eject button. -

Here is a document to help you resolve the issue. Disk Defragmenter was scheduled using another program Let me know how this goes for you. Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

Find my iphone says location service disabled but there is a green dot next to it. What does that mean?
it means the phone is online but the locational services have been disabled.
if you are trying find my iPhone then go to:
settings>locational services>find my iphone>on
find my iphone is the last option in locational services. -
I checked the model of my iphone and i found out that it is semi-unlocked, what does that means?
It does not mean anything because it is not possible.
Either your phone is fully and officially unlocked and you can use it with any sim card or it is locked to your phone company/carrier, in which case you need to contract your carrier to get it unlocked. There is no in between. -
