It seems that when you woke up you were in a Pages Layout Template, rather than the word processing template you are more accustomed to.

My iphone 5 and 2 ipod touches will not show up on my itunes when i connect them to my laptop. I have tried different cables, restarted the mobile thing, uninstalled and reinstalled itunes, it is only on my laptop that has Windows 8. My dekstop with Windows 7 is fine will recognize them. This has been going on for over a week.. What is going on?

Will not show web page on windows high contrast

Hi,
Am running Windows 7 64bit
my problem is as follows.
I normally run Windows in high contrast mode and would prefer all web sites to be on the dark side.
Occasionally I need to be able to see a web page as its designers intended it to be.
So I want to have the text white and background black and then the ability to toggle between that and the web page's own colour scheme.
Thought I'd found exactly what I needed in the add-on "Toggle Document Colors 1.0"
Am presuming it toggles the status of the "Allow pages to choose their own colours..." tick box.
This setting seems to get lost when FF closes. Even if I set the tick box myself and then close FF it is gone when I reopen FF.
If the box is ticked and a page refreshed it still does not show web page colours ?
Without any addons at all after a reset and only using the colours dialog I cannot get it to behave.
If you start in Windows white mode (normal) things are better even after FF close. Change to Windows black mode (high contrast) things start off ok then after you close FF it will not work
If there is a solution I would love to know it.
Will settle for a workaround.
Considered using old version of FF, but this is not really a good idea.
Really don't want to go back to IE

iTunes does not yet support Windows 8, so there may not be a fix until such time as Apple releases a version of iTunes that does support 8. You can search this forum for "windows 8", though, and perhaps you'll find a suggestion in one of the other threads on the issue.

I don't agree - I have two IMacs and two iPhones - the iPhone 4S show up on one machine, but not the other. They do show that they are charging, and a memory stick will open on the same USB ports. So, I don't think this is how they are "supposed to work"......

I am very new to Apple; I just got a new Apple on Sunday. I am trying to figure out how to make Safari and other Apple software full pages. I click on the green plus sign at times, but they don't always give me a full page.

Previous poster meant "right corner".
To make any page "full screen", just click/hold on the lower-right corner of the screen (you'll see diagonal lines there) and drag to the size you want. Next, click on the red button to close the window. Then go to the File Menu and select "new window".
Good way to familiarize yourself with OS X is to pick up a copy of Scott Kelby's book OS X Tiger: Killer Tips. Also, these forums have a wealth of information available either via the Search panel, or here for Safari support.

Firefox 3.6 on OS 10.6.4 will not show full graphical interface on many Websites' order and payment pages, including PayPal and Amazon.

Even when I enter a site and can see full graphics, going into an order or payment area shows text only and no buttons.
When I went into a password-entry site yesterday (Capwiz), I saw not graphics anywhere on the site. However, I saw full graphics using Firefox on the PC laptop I often use for work running Windows 7.

Iweb web page not showing full page on the web

I have a web site that I build using iweb. I have installed intense debate for a commenting system. I have two problems. My comments are not showing up even after i approve them even though i chose to not monitor comments and when you view the page most of the comment box is missing. I have changed the height and width of the page, changed the height and width of the age layout in iweb, nothing seems to help. I have contacted there support team but they just keep saying the same things. Apparently i need to do this to get the commenting system working "looks like you don't have any JavaScript variables set. You'll need to set some postid's and URLs." That is copied directly from the email they sent me. I don't know what any of that means...And please don't say read the tutorial they offer because i cant fallow that either. 1 sheet with multiple pages will not show various page numbers

I'm having a difficult time differentiating between pages and sheets in Numbers. For example, I have 1 sheet with 5 pages. I am inserting page numbers (done, re-done several times after looking through the forum), but each page will not print with a sequential number (ie. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). Instead, each page is 1. When I scroll over the number "1" on, say, page 3, the number 3 shows up. But unfortunately t will not print with anything but page number 1.

I am having a problem that is close to this, when I try and preview my site in browser some of the pages show up as a white and gray blocks only. I can not seem to find any reason or connection to what pages are doing this. The only page that has a video seems to work fine. Its almost acting like the links are broken or something. Any help would be welcomed.

Itunes page does not show full page w/license agreement..nano does not work

plugged in nano to computer, license agreement comes up half page, can not click any responces. they r not there in view.Also no set up assintant appears as it said it would in the pathetic little " manual" that came with it. wonder if they burn well in the woodstove:).easy as 1,2,3??? can they count???

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

I have an ipod touch that was set up on this computer. It is a mac. It hasn't had an update in a while and it needs an update to update apps and download new apps. It will not show up in itunes to get the update, nor will it let me update on the iPod. ???

Once I did the update it will not charge as quickly as it used to I mean like could be on the charger all day and not reach 100% and my friend has an iPhone 5 and she had the same problem the charger isn't broken and nothing is wrong with with place on the device for the charger she had to end up getting a new charger but I'm not buying a new charger when this was not my fault

Some pages add their own margin to the minimum margin set in Page Setup. First you might reduce the margin here:
Alt+f (displays the classic File menu) > Page Setup > Margins & Header/Footer tab
Second, you could try using Shrink to Fit. However, if the image is a background image rather than part of the content of the page, that might not have any effect.
