On new PC and can't transfer MP3's. Please help.
Hello all,
Pretty new to the iPOD world. Have a 30 gig iPOD video. Had it working no problems on my laptop. Have a new PC that I now connect my iPOD to and I am having problems transferring my own mp3's to the iPOD like I did with the laptop.
I would just go to file > add folder to library. Usually after I did this, the next time I connected the iPOD, it would transfer all the files over (Saw the meter on top center of iTUNES that shows the transfer status.)
Now I do this, and nothing happens. I also click on "sync iPOD" and it does, but again, nothing happens and no music is transferred over.
Can someone please tell me how to go about transferring my own mp3's (When I say my own, I mean ones I did not download from iTUNE's) to my iPOD like I did before so I can enjoy some of my newer music instead of having to listen to the same old stuff over and over again.

So just to be clear, when you say "just bought" how long ago was that? Is it on this new iPhone that you had pictures, texts, etc that you want? Were you backing up to iCloud or onto iTunes?
This may not help for everything but if you go to iCloud.com and log in, are you able to find your pictures there? -

Since all of your music came from your computer in the first place, then it should still be there and should be included in your backup copy of your computer.

New PC user can't open Quicktime. Please help

I use a Mac desktop and bought a PC laptop for school. I installed Quicktime and, when it opens, a small QT window flashes on the screen briefly, then disappears. QT shows on the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, but when I click on it, nothing happens. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and tried the workaround (run with different credentials) but no success.

Doublechecking something ... is that a "Switching" screen?
If so, and you're getting no error messages whatsoever, then you might have a Qoologic adware infestation. (If so, it's actually the first one I've seen for a while.)
The free trial version of AVG Antispyware (formerly "Ewido") did a nice job of cleaning it up when it was a more common problem. However, Grisoft appears to have changed around their product line, and the free trial version of AVG Antispyware may now be incorporated into their free trial version of AVG Antivirus:

If you do not have an iPod and have an external Hard Drive you can still follow most the steps there to transfer your iTunes to your PC, just replace the words/steps for iPOd with "External Harddrive"
Wireless isn't that heavly recommended for this because of how wireless can suddenly drop signal, but you can just copy the whole iTunes folder and send it over to the new PC over your network. Keep in mind tho any music you have outside the iTUnes folder will not transfer over and will show up in iTunes on the new PC with a ! mark beside it -

I changed my password for a website, and Password Manager kept putting in my old password. Deleted the password from Manger, however Firefox does not ask me for a new one at all. Checked the help desk, but the solutions are not working either. Restarted computer, nothing. What do I need to do from here?

You could try going to ''Tools > Options > Privacy'' and removing the individual cookie for that site. You can also try going to ''Tools > Options > Security'' and verifying that the site isn't in your exceptions list.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of doing so include clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
Since you've spent some of the balance, the remainder of it can't be transferred to another Apple ID through any means.

First time Blackberry Used Pearl and can't get email working, please help
I have been wanting to try a blackberry for a long time, and was waiting for the Bold, but i got an opportunity to try the Pearl for a good price. I am with ATT and got it today, have the plan, but when I put in the PIN and IMEI it is registered to someone else, so how do i set up my email account?
ADDED: I did get a blackberry.net email account created but the phone still has the other persons name listed below the icon and is linked to her, how do i change this? Thanks again

The reason you can't log in is that, when you had your carrier set up your GMail, they created a BIS account for you. Further, they created BIS credentials on that account -- which are then needed to access the BIS configuration screens even on the BB. You need those credentials. Contact whoever it is that set it up for you and have them tell you those credentials.

I thought this phone was suppose to make your life easier. thanksPeggy206
1. Try to delete and then re-add the fingerprint. Things to consider is make sure your finger is dry from any liquid or moisture. Also try to clean off the touch id sensor with a soft cloth and rescan your fingerprint.
2. Try to reset your settings and then go to settings-general-touch id and passcode and re-add your finger print. When you add the fingerprint make sure that you don't move it around too much until the first part of scanning your fingerprint is done. Then in the second part of the scan is where you wanna move the finger around.
Hope this help! I have my iPhone 5S and it does help when the fingerprint sensor is working. -
