On some sites the following error message terminates the connection. Firefox.exe application error. The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000417) occurred in the application at location )x78579231.
Internet Explorer does not balk on those same sites. Most sites do not cause the disconnect but on those that do I must revert to IE to complete the visit.

When I install itunes I received an error message like this:The exception unknown software exception (0Xc06007e) ocurred in the application at location 0x7c812afb. After the installation the computer is showing the message every time.
If you update your QuickTime Player, does that clear up the iTunes message?

SQL Server 2012 Management Studio attempting to log into a SQL Server 2012 instance on a remote server using SQL Authenticated login.
What does this error mean and what can I do to fix it?
Thanks in advance!Hi Nick,
Have you seen any additionally information from Windows Event Viewer?
Based on my research, exception code e0434352 is the exception code used internally by the CLR to represent most exceptions(*), it could mean anything. If you want to find out exactly what the real error is, please review this
blog.
In addition, in such case, Microsoft .Net Framework may need to be updated or repaired on your computer. For more details, you can refer to the following similar thread.

Try a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before reinstalling a fresh copy of Firefox.
*C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\
*http://kb.mozillazine.org/Installation_directory
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
*Firefox 17.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you will also lose your personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.

I'm getting very annoyed. Last night I bought an Ipod Touch for my son's birthday today. Tried to set it up last night...no go. I figured I was just tired and thought to try again this morning. I hooked the Touch up to my PC (running WIn7 Ultimate), downloaded the latest ITunes and set up "my" Apple ID. The fact I had to use my Visa was another annoyance. I set up HomeShare on his and my PCs and figured I'd activate the IPod from his PC, because it said on the acct. page that you could activate the acct. on only one computer. I plugged it in and got the " usb to itunes" image on the ipod screen, opened Itunes, checked for updates and it was the latest version. It said I have activated it on 2/5 PCs and before I could do anything else, I got the error message: " iTunes could not connect to this iPhone because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000065)" which pops up everytime. Still haven't seen the "app screen" on the ipod. I must say I'm rather disappointed with Apple after hearing how good it is. Doubt if I'll ever buy a Mac PC. They seem to be worse than MS for proprietary bs. If I can't get this working soon it's goin back.If anyone has had the same problem, I'd appreciate any feedback Thanks.
Have a look at the articles mentioned here:http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694
Unknown Error containing "0xE" when restoring: To resolve this issue, follow the steps in iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Unknown error containing '0xE' when connecting. If you have a Windows computer with an Intel® 5 series/3400 series chipset, you may need updates for your chipset drivers. I keep getting this error message every time I open certain sites such as Facebook, Wayfair, etc. I have uninstalled Flash many times and re-installed it many times but keep getting this message.
I had the same problem.
I went through the troubleshoot and it's not the extensions etc.
The Adobe Flash Player Plugin version 11.9.900.117 seems to be the problem.
Flash still plays fine, just the pop-up happens and not sure why.
If it's annoying you, try installing the older version:
Uninstal this version (v11.9), and re-install the older version (v11.8)
You can find older versions on :
To test this, I installed this version :
''(Released 9/10/2013) Flash Player 11.8.800.168 (156.2 MB)''
It downloads a zip file, which contains 7 files, I ran the file :
''flashplayer11_8r800_168_win.exe''
And now the pop-up does not happen.
==================================================
Note 1: I did this:
:1: uninstall v11.9
:2: open firefox (so I'm opening up firefox without flash)
:3: go to youtube = a popup to install flash appears, click to install
The version it offered was not 11.9, but 11.8 : strange! why not v11.9?
: anyway, if you try to install v11.8 this way, it always fails
==================================================
Note 2:
This problem only happens on my main home desktop and does not happen on my other machines (which all are Firefox Sync-ed, so all running same extensions etc...)
Strange!

The exception unknown software exception (0x000000d)
This error occurs when i attempt to share by clicking on disc.
The only way to fix this is by repairing the program using the install disk. This will work for a short period of time, but soon it will occur again.
I am using premiere elements 4.0
Any ideas why this may be occurring.A software exception w/ a memory address is almost always due to some program, or process, either not reporting its memory addresses correctly, or telling the OS that it has released those addresses, when it has not.
The easiest way to track the program, or process, responsible for this is found in this ARTICLE. Event Viewer should help you find what is causing this.
In that article, there is a link to The Case of the Unexplained, by MS, but that link has been changed by MS. You will find the active links (per OS) in this ARTICLE.
Good luck,
Hunt
PS - that old forum article is probably lost, and gone forever, as of the forum re-structuring some years ago. -
