I'm getting the errors below and but I have not got any BSOD.
The errors I'm getting in eventviewer are Pku2ulog failed to start 0xC--35, Negolog failed to start, IDListenLog failed to start, P2PLog failed to start and HomegroupLog failed to start, all with the same failure code 0xC-- 35.
This is what the logs files says about each error.
Pku2ulog:

p2plog:

After an "event" on my computer, all of my playlists were deleted. All of my music is still on iTunes on my computer, but I am concerned about synching my idpod, as many hundreds of hours were involved in creating the playlists and I do not want to lose them. Suggestions?
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

For the past two weeks, every time I start up my computer I'm asked for an iCloud login. I've never used iCloud and I'm not likely to. How do I get this login to stop automatically showing up? I'm using an iMac G5 with OS 10.9.4.
One more quick thing first. Hold the SHIFT key this time as you startup and see if that gets you any further (this is called 'Safe Mode' by the way). I'm not too confident that this will work in your case but it's worth a try. If it boots up, go into Disk Utility and repair permissions.
If it doesn't, you're going to have to do an Archive & Install which will install a fresh copy of the OS over the top BUT keep all your users, files and apps in place. -
I am trying to sync my itunes with my ipod, but when I get to step 3 of syncing, it stops. Also, I deleted all the songs on my ipod, and when I go to my music in my ipod the songs are all still there and in a grey color and I'm not able to select them. How do I completely clear my ipod music, and how can I solve the syncing problem?
Sync works the same way it always has, connect the device, select the content desired to sync and sync.
All the media should be in iTunes already, iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.
If this is a new computer, move the content from the old computer to the new computer. -
IP5 set up with all options...however new emails OLD like 13-14 years old have arrived in the IN BOX that say no "this message has no content", and I am not able to delete them. Any helpful ideas?

Problem Folders on my desktop are no longer showing any files inside
I have been using windows 7 quite a bit lately, but I logged on snow leopard, and all the folders on my desktop are empty. They show that they are still trying to load what is in them, but nothing ever comes.
this is obviously a huge problem as it currently appears all my files are gone...anyone have a solution or having this problem as well?I went through all of these steps. I also downloaded AVG antivirus. It detected nine files that may have been malware and I deleted them. I have restarted my computer several times after this and the folders on my desktop are still not displaying properly. Also my folders are unable to be dragged around the desktop. The whole desktop is messed up.

I accidentally downloaded some version of install.mac. I have used the uninstall application and this has reset my browser setting on chrome which is good! However, I can no longer see my files from opening any folder on my desktop. I have restarted my computer many times and I still see the same thing when I open my folders. Please help! I like the Mozilla Firefox Start Page and I do find Google fairly useful (albeit that I have dumped Chrome for Firefox due to Google's constant badgering to sign-up to their social network "circles" etc) - but my gripe is that I am redirected to google.fr NOT google.co.uk (my 1st preference) or google.com (2nd preference). Yes, I am located in France. No, I am not French and most of the information I am looking for is contained on UK or US web pages. I found the same problem with the provided Google search engine in the top right bar, so removed it in favour of Yahoo (which I am not a fan of either!). Any advice would be gratefully received. Thx.

One of the reasons I abandoned Chrome in favour of Firefox was due to the "black band of doom" that appears on the top of the Google page - so setting up my homepage to google.co.uk just puts that back in the ugly spotlight.
I was, though, pleasantly surprised to see a Google search bar on the Mozilla Firefox Start Page (without the black band and Google options that I am just not interested in) but bitterly disappointed that it is Google.fr (due to my ISP being French).
I shall learn to live with Yahoo (or worse case scenario, Bing!)
