On synching my iphone for purchases it says my computer is not authorised, it is what do I do

On my recent synching with my iphone 4 when itunes reaches step 3 to transfer purchases, in this case ibooks, it states authorise this computer. I enter email address and password then receive a reply this computer is authorised I click ok immediately this computer is not authorised appears. I then have to cancel the request to authorise the computer which cancels the synching. It now means I can no longer access my ibooks from my iphone. Can anyone offer a suggestion please.

Try to see if perhaps you are connecting the drive to a surge protector and it might not be getting enough power, try to connect the adapter directly to a power outlet on the wall to see if you get a different result.

Because File Transfer, buy Bluetooth, has never been supported on any iPhone. Your computer and iPhone will only pair, by Bluetooth, if you're trying to Tether. If you're not trying to Tether, you can quit tring, as your phone won't pair.

ah this is a simple fix. open itunes go to store on the top menu bar and click store. scroll down and click
"Authorize this computer" fill in the info requested and there u have it.

Hi there, to authorize a computer, you open up itunes, and at the very very top lefthand corner, there will be a little window. Click on that, and it will present you with a list of options. From there, you go to the third option down, which says "Itunes Store," hover over it with your mouse, and it will give you another set of options. From there, you can see the two options, "Authorize" an "Deauthorize computer. Just click on "Authorize," enter in your apple ID and password, and your computer will be authorized! Authorize the coumputer. Go to store in the top of the screen and authorize it.

I found the solution in another post. By deleting all my apps, I was able to sync the phone. I hope I don't have to delete all my apps every time I want to sync my phone, but at least now I am able to sync my phone.

edit the hosts file on your computer and remove any lines that contain gs.apple.com. Disable your antivirus and firewall.

If you are getting the repeated prompts of asking to authorize your Apple ID, then check out the article below to resolve the issue. Make sure that you go through and remove the SC Info folder and try to authorizer again as that resolved it for me when I had that issue.

Account is a user neame and password with which you purchase content.

Try unplugging any other USB devices. If you are using a hub, don't, connect the phone directly to a computer USB port.
None of these are necessarily things you should do, but might help. For instance, if you plug the phone to an already busy hub, the phone might be "the straw that broke the camel's back" and lock out the hub.
