"?" on the top left in Finder

After upgrade to Lion into Finder's Window, on the top left corner, show me an "?". What is it? How can I fix it?

This means that something you used to have put in the Finder window toolbar is no longer available, or Finder can't, uh, Find it. Often times this is a server or disk or something. Anyway, you can just delete it.

Unable to find Contract term in the navigation bar at the top left side of the souring page

i can't find Contract term in the navigation bar at the top left side of the souring page.
this is what i have tried:
1,an approved contract module connected with RFI,RFQ
2,set porfiles in system administrator->porfile->system :PO: Contracts Enabled YES
what else i shall set??

In Firefox 3.6 on Windows you can hide the menu bar via "View > Toolbars" or via the right click context menu on a toolbar.
Press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the menu bar.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the menu bar or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide.

My Iphone 5s can not connect me to my network. It just says searching in the top left corner for 2 days now.

Yesterday morning, my phone decided to kick me of my network and not let me back in. In the top left corner, it just says 'Searching...'. I have tried restarting my phone, resetting all settings and resetting network settings and nothing has decided to work for me. I then went to reset my phone but it will not let me log out of 'Find my Phone'. Therefore it did not allow me to reset my phone.
Please can somebody help.

You'll have to unlock the phone in icloud.com/find to be able to get pass the activation lock.

Photos have a ? in the top left hand corner. When I click to reconnect files are found but the reconnect button is not active

Mostr f my photos have a question mark in the top left hand corner. When I go to <file> and click on reconnect the missing files are searched for and found but the reconnect button is not active. What can I do. I m unable to edit these photos.

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
It sounds like you are in the Elements Organizer that came with your version of Premiere Elements.
That ? in the top left corner of the thumbnail indicates a file that is no longer in the hard drive save location as it was
when a copy of the file was included in the Elements Organizer.
1. Do you know that the file(s) still exist? Could you have moved, deleted, or renamed file/folder involved? Can you go
to the hard drive save location for the file and actually find it there?
If you are working with Photoshop Elements instead of Premiere Elements, you have posted in the wrong forum. In that case, please post your thread in the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum or wait for a moderator to see your thread here and move it from here to there.

"Lock" symbol in the top left

OK, i have searched and did not find my problem. I have a lock symbol in the top left of my ipod. Not a screen lock, it is not asking for a password but i get no response from it at all. I can not turn it off, i can not move through the different ipod selections like music, video and the like. It is fully charged. I am manually managing my content, not using itunes but in itunes i can see the ipod and access songs and content. To my knowledge, i did not set anything to "lock". How do i "unlock" the ipod?

Is your hold switch on? The top portion of your ipod. If it is on, you will see the color orange. Slide it over and try again.

It's not a link, its an icon that indicates the photo cannot be found in the location where PSE expects it. This happens because you either renamed, moved or deleted the photos outside of PSE. To fix the problem, use File->Reconnect (you will have to find the actual file in one of your folders), and in the future, no more moving, renaming or deleting photos outside of PSE; if you MUST rename or move photos, do so from within PSE.

The Apple logo in the top left corner was purple... why?

This is just a weird anomaly that I'd like to figure out. On March 7, I noticed the Apple logo in the top left corner of my screen had turned purple. Once it happened, I wasn't entirely certain it wasn't always like that, like maybe the black background I had was tinted purple, but wasn't noticeable elsewhere. (Plus, none of my friends that work for Apple had anything to say about it.)
Tonight, after working on my computer for a few hours, I looked up and the Apple logo was back to dark grey, so I know something weird was amiss.
I'm using the same exact background on all of my "desktops," and have been for months... did anyone else experience this? I can find nothing on it, but it seems really odd. The rest of the colors have been consistent, so it's not a display issue... and if it was, the screen shots wouldn't look different.
Obviously not important, but strange.
I have a MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum) 2.4gHz and use an external display.

Weird, the same is happening to me on an 8 core mac pro. We changed the graphics card to a Nvidia a little while ago so I tought this might have to do with it but it did it before if I remember correctly. I also have a macbook pro and it doesn't happen on the macbook pro. We are only macs at the studio and I am the only one that this is happening. I know it is know the speakers close to the screen nor the screens themselves, cause I tried a bunch of different screens. I remembered trying out Istatsmenu a little while back and the color scheme of that app was purple. Maybe that has something to do with it... but the other day the apple logo was greenish/gray. It doesn't do anything, system is running fine, it's just weird... anybody has an answer?

I am creating a particle system and I am trying to generate the particles / CreateChildSymbol on the top left bottom right edges of the window/stage?
Currently I am generating random X & Y points but thats not really doing what I need.

Well to be honest another friend helped me work out the logic for randomizing the sides (top, left, bottom, right) to get it working.
But I wanted to share since I had a hard time finding anything releated to this topic. Big Ups to Resdesign + Tim Jaramillo for helping me with some logic along the way as well!

My netflix app dosent have an X in the top left corner to close it what do i do?

Im trying to watch netflix on my iphone 5s and its not letting me open it! It dosent open and then crash, it straight up wont open. I tried to delete it and uninstall it but theres no X in the top left corner of the app and i went to the app store to try to open it from there and it wont work there either! I called netflix and they dont know what to do :(

Where has the menu gone from the top-left of the window?

In the latest Firefox (I can't tell what version, there's no Help icon or About entry anywhere I can find) the menu that used to sit in the top-left of the window has now gone. Some add-ons used to add menu entries there. Since you removed it, now I can't use those add-ons. How do I access these menu items now?

For the equivalent of the Firefox button, click the ≡ Menu Button near the top right corner of the window.
For the Help menu, click the ≡ Menu Button, then the Question Mark icon near the bottom right of the panel that opens. You can also press Alt+H to bring up the Help menu on the menu bar.
For add-on icons, right-click an empty area of the tab bar and choose Customize.

No Vendor ID on the top left of the Sales Report

How can I find my Vendor ID when I haven't publihed my first app yet so there are no sales reports avaialable. No Vendor ID shows up on the top left of the report.
