On wake up, Creative Cloud fails to sync assets

Every morning when I wake up my machine (Mac Pro late 2013), CC will either have an alert icon or no icon.
Usually the alert icon is a notification about apps not able to load, and nothing to do with file syncing. (clicking reload on that screen does seem to work for showing current apps)
Files will not resume syncing until I quit any open Adobe apps (usually Illustrator, Photoshop) - and force quit creative cloud app.
(Simply quitting CC will only remove icon from status bar, but the app is still there in Activity Monitor, and I can't start CC again until force quitting it).
It's a very tedious process and a frustrating way to start every day. I work with a team of 8 other designers who rely on having our latest files in sync.
Running: CC Version 1.8.0.447
Machin Specs:
Processor  3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5
Memory  16 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 ECC
Graphics  AMD FirePro D500 3072 MB
Software  OS X 10.9.5 (13F34)

The log files can be found here:
Mac: /Users/<yourusername>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/
Windows: C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CoreSync\
The logs have the date in the filename, like "CoreSync-2014-03-25.log". Please compress (zip) all the CoreSync-2014-MM-DD.log files and email them to me directly at [email protected]

    I am posting this more as a guide for people having similar issues than I am a question, as it has already been resolved but I could not find this answer anywhere on the forums.
    Here was my situation:
    After a fresh install of a completely empty creative cloud account, Creative Cloud is unable to sync any files or folders.
    In order to troubleshoot the issue, I created a single <folder> and 1 file (Instructions.txt) inside my Creative Cloud Folder that needed to sync. Remember, this was a brand new install on a brand new account.
    I then attempted to sync.
    Here is an excerpt from my CoreSync log, so that you can see the errors being generated:

    I called Adobe Customer Support, and after explaining the situation, was first instructed on how to save a file to my Creative Cloud folder. Just a note to Adobe, when a customer sends you a detailed log file and tells you they have already tried certain steps from the forums, don't start at using Adobe 101.
    Customer service insisted that I try deleting options.tix again. I did so, following the instruction posted here: Re: I can't sync to my files In the CC desktop app
    This did not work.
    Support then requested that I navigate to /Users/<my username>/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/ and rename the "CoreSync" folder to "Coresyncold".
    Upon doing, killing "Adobe Creative Cloud" and "CoreSync" processes, and restarting the "Adobe Creative Cloud" Application, all syncing functionality worked correctly.
    To summarize, this fixed the issue:
    Rename "CoreSync" to "Coresyncold" (Functionally, the same as deleting it)
    Kill "Adobe Creative Cloud" and "CoreSync" Processes
    Restart "Adobe Creative Cloud"
    Here is the process as terminal commands:
    mv ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CoreSync ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/CoreSyncOld
    killall Creative\ Cloud
    killall CoreSync
    open -a Creative\ Cloud

    Hi, Thanks for the reply.  Everything worked fine until I updated to CC14.  after that, I receive conflicted file messages. So, I archived all my files that were in cloud.  I opened each file on my Mac and re-saved them using SaveAs so I was sure the file was in the CC14 format.  I uploaded each file to the cloud as they would not synch.  Now when I work on a file I get double the files showing the original file (with the old upload date) and the conflicted file on my Mac.  I have no idea now which file I am actually using is the original file or the conflicted file.  Still today, nothing synchs - I get the "Some Files failed to Sync" message - click Learn More and the message tells me that the cloud is working perfectly... but it's not... my files aren't synching... I have worked on two files today and neither have synched.  It's the weirdest thing...

  • Creative Cloud Folder not syncing

    The files inside my creative cloud folder start syncing then the app stops syncing, displaying the message, 'some files did not sync'. I have tried to enable and disable syncing, but it hasn't helped. Could anyone help?

  • EVERY UPDATE OF CREATIVE CLOUD FAILS!!!

    I Really am so pissed off now....I've been patience enough! This is probably the 10th time I have to contact the helpdesk to guide me trough this problem. Because I'm so tired of the problem I didn't use creative cloud for a month...
    This really sucks! Every time when there's a update of this creative cloud it won't update and I get fault code:50 Then I can't use the creative cloud anymore because it need to update. You can not imagine how frustrated I am because of this problem. WHY DON'T YOU FIX THIS?!?!?!

    Please check if the Creative Cloud Connection is Active or Not?
    How large are the files?
    If you can find the logs at the following places, and paste them here, it would be good.
    Here's where to find the log:
    Windows - c:\users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\CloudSync\CloudSync-2013-05-0 9.log
    Mac - /Users/<yourusername>/Library/Application Data/CloudSync/CloudSync-2013-05-09.log

  • Creative cloud Ideas not syncing

    I have made a drawing on my iPad in Ideas. Now it won't sync to my creative cloud. Why is it not working.
    Have a MacPro OS X (Lion) version 10.7.5

    Turned iPad fully off and started again, syncing stopped at 88%. Then made new project and it synced again, also the previous halted project, Everything works now fine

    Which version of Ideas do you have installed?  What iPad/iOS have you created the Ideas drawing on?  Do you receive an error message related to the inability to sync?

  • Creative cloud failed to synchronize my stuff

    hi,
    the CC application failed to synchronize two PSDs of mine to the cloud. with 600mb they're quite heavy so i am not looking forward to uploading them again from scratch (made a backup copy today just to be sure). my cloud space is at 5gb at the moment. so i have no problems with space.
    the cc app said that it was a server problem with the firsr psd. the second one just had the comment "sync. for file "xyz" not possible". what can i do now?

  • Creative Cloud won't sync with my Libraries

    I'v reinstalled the latest Creative Cloud desktop app, and updated to the latest version of Photoshop CC 2014 - but I cannot get Creative Cloud to show me any of my assets (libraries) on the website.
    To troubleshoot in Creative Cloud preferences :
    1. I made sure Sync was on, and
    2. I tested the folder location for files. It was my User folder which seems to be default, and I tested it by changing it to the Creative Cloud folder nested inside User folder, but no change.
    I'm on Adobe Creative Cloud 1.9.0.465

  • Creative Cloud fails to see installed apps

    I have installed Creative Cloud in a non-standard way.  I install the applications on a separate drive from the operating system (and indeed where Adobe insists that Creative Cloud installs itself), this is done for all of my applications as it means that, usually, a re-install of the operating system for whatever reason doesn't require re-downloading and installing everything again.
    Recently the C drive failed completely and had to be replaced.  All of the CC (2014 versions) applications still exit and can still be launched from the drive they were installed on, but the CC application itself fails to see the installed app's.
    I've tried changing the installation folder to the one where they all are;  changing the language;  signing in and out after each action;  and deleting/renaming the file in the OOBE folder.
    So, two questions :
    Why does CC not have an installation path other than C drive?  There is nothing in it that requires it be there.
    How do I make CC "see" all of the applications that are already installed?  (N.B. deleting the folders and re-downloading isn't a solution, it's a work-around that is clumsy and stupid, putting the entire onus on the customer)
    Finally, am I the only one who finds the CC launcher to be the biggest PITA of the new version of CS?  Every other version I've used worked and updated faultlessly, the latest version just seems to be an absolute mess.

    The install info is stored in the opm.db and caps.db files and those went down the drain with your system drive. There is no way to restore it without reinstalling. The rest is not worth debating. Things just are as they are.

    I could find the answer after searching previous posts about this language problem.
    Had to change my language in AAM profile and then download PS CS6 again ( english version ).
    Then open the actual Photoshop and in preferences > interface you can besides the Dutch also option for English.
    restart application and Voila.

  • Creative Cloud fails to update

    Hi, i keep getting the following error message when I attempt to update my Adobe CS6 apps using the Adobe Application Manager:
    "AI CS6 Creative Cloud Update
    Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7"
    This being the message when I tried updating Illustrator. Updating other apps returns a similar message. have tried downloading the update and bypassing Adobe App Manager, with equally disappointing results!
    Running Mac OSX 10.7.4
    Does anyone have a clue as to how to overcome this problem, or have similar experiences? Would love to know!!

    I have a bit less than 50 gb of data in my Creative Cloud Drive and I'm consistently getting this error message.
    Already tried to "pause" and "resume" sync a few times. Already restarted the computer.
    I'm running Mac OS X - Mavericks (10.9.2) in a Macbook Pro Retina in case that matters.

  • Why can't I use the creative cloud connection file syncing?

    I hear people raving about it on twitter, so why am I only seeing a 'coming soon' message in the files tab of my creative cloud interface?
