On YouTube load, site leaves and script appears with no way to use.

Version 6.0.1 and 6.0.2 on iMac with v 10.6.8 OS. Youtube site, on load, flashes, disappears and this message appears:
"A new version of the YouTube script for Windows Media Player is available.
Installing these updates is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Do you wish to update at this time? (Restart is NOT Required!)
If you don't update, this message will appear on each video"
If I click OK, the YouTube screen goes blank. If I click CANCEL, I get two pages of script, with no way to use the script
YouTube loads just fine in Safari!!

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).<br />
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.<br />
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

I've flicked through forums, google, and called my top graphics people but nobody can seem to help, or has ever even heard of, my issue.
Here it is in a nutshell:
Some GIFs and JPGs appear with a yellow "wash" when being loaded in Safari. I can confirm this is happening on 3 different Macs, and even on a PC running Safari.
Safari 3.1.1 on Windows XP
Safari 3.1.2 on Mac OSX 10.5.5
Here's some examples of it occurring:

You might need to refresh the page in Safari a couple of times to see the flicker but it's there.
I've tried:
- resaving images with and without "progressive" and "interlaced"
- a variety of different colour palettes
- taking a screenshot of the image, putting back into Photoshop and resaving
Has anybody seen this issue before? Unfortunately I can't go live with this site until I fix this very strange error.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Totally independently from your current problem, Safari is cr@p. Dump it.
All Apple applications, from the Finder through Preview and iPhoto to Safari, assign Monitor RGB to ALL untagged images, even if they were created or saved in sRGB.
The only current properly color-managed web browser is Firefox 3.0.1. Just keep in mind that you have to enable color management deep inside the guts of Firefox.

Yes, you would sign out of iTunes & App Store: Settings>iTunes & App Store, click on the Apple ID, click on Sign Out. Then sign back on with the new Apple ID. Also, if you have an iCloud account with the other Apple ID, you would delete that iCloud account, and then sign on with your new ID: Settings>iCloud>Delete Account.

Try resetting all network settings, or turn the airplane mode on then off, or restarting the device itself
if all else fails, do a restore (Back-up everything before doing this)
if it still fails, contact apple or your wireless carrier.

Youtube loading is stop and start

I noticed that since I downloaded the latest Adobe flash player, the Youtube videos load very slowly. The loading is stop and start.
Before I installed the latest flash player Youtube videos worked well. No problem.
I repaired permissions. I even installed old versions of flash player, flash player 9 and flashplayer 10UB. I uninstalled before I installed the other versions. I made sure to repair permissions after installing.
I am back to installing the newest version and repairing permissions. After restarting the computer, Youtube videos still download in a stop and start way with a few seconds in between.
I turned off iPv6 as well. Nothing helps.
The strange thing is that Youtube videos worked well before I downloaded the latest flash player.
This is a MacBook Air rev C HDD 120GB. I have Leopard OS 10.56.
It's the same for Safari, Firefox and Opera. All browsers are up to date.

My iPhone 4 is freezing,when i plug it into the charger it begins downloading something, then all of a sudden it stops loading and a white screen shows up then it starts loading again, freezing and it keeps happening that way. What do I do?

I had a refurbished iPhone 4/4S. When I got it, I placed it on the charger. 3 minutes later the apple sign appears on the phone,then a bar appears underneath it. It begins to download something (Idon't know what) then it looks as if it only loaded 10%, then it stops..Several minutes later the screen turns white, the phone shuts off, and the ame thing happens over, and over, and over again. Can anyone help me fix this problem so that I can use my phone?

Sorry to hear you're having this issue.
Some things to help solve this issue. I would recomend trying a restore in recovery mode. This would require your phone, the syncing/charging cable, and a computer with iTunes software installed. With that being said, you would then want to plug your phone into your computer, and attempt a 'recovery mode restore'.

Firefox running slow or not loading sites before and after security update

Firefox was slow or would time out loading websites and I got a notice of security update. I'm running Mac OS 10.5.8 and Firefox 10.0.1. I've tried saving a new profile in Terminal and it keeps telling me "firefox-bin quit unexpectedly). I've tried to make a new profile and there is no "Firefox" listed under "Library/Applications Support". Google Chrome is wicked quick and Safari is working normally. Firefox is my choice but I just can't use it. Any suggestions that won't cause me to loose my bookmarks, etc.?

Yes I have. That's where I ran into the problem in trying to set up a new profile and found no listing for Firefox under my Library/Applications Support. I can't make a new profile if I can't access Applications Support. I miss Firefox. There are so many things to like about it but it's just not functional right now and I'm apparently not the only person with this problem. Chrome is my current best friend, sad to say.

Loading File name and file contents into two separate tables using Sqlloadr

I have situtation like to load File contents into One table and File name into one table . File comes with .txt extension
Example :
File name : product_09_abc.txt
File contents :
Productcode
ABC
CDE
EFT
Can you please help me out this how can we acheive this using SQLLOADER.

SQL*Loader will not pass through the filename for you to be able to insert into a table.
You will need to have a controlling o/s script that picks up the file name, calls sql*loader and then also call's an SQL script (using sql*plus?) to insert the filename into a.n.other table.

Flash 8 SWF loading Flash 6 and 7 SWF with quality issues

I have made a Flash 8 .exe that "loadmovie"s a
Captivate(Flash 6) SWF. The animation screenshots come out blurred
when the SWF is loaded in the Flash 8 .exe. If I create a test
Flash 7 .exe, this does not happen. Any Ideas?
PS - I need to use Flash 8 because of filters and VP6
video.

It's not completely clear what you're saying.
Do you have a wrapper SWF that first dynamically loads the
Flash 6 movie? If so, then is that wrapper in Flash 8 format? If
that's the case, then if someone has only the Flash 6 Player then
it may not be displayed anyway.
If what you're doing is loading the Flash 8 movie into Level
0 of the Flash 6 movie, then this may be causing some of the mess
you're experiencing.
Normally there are two ways to catch a viewer that doesn't
have the Flash 8 Player: 1) a detection script, which usually
works, and is part of many of the HTML templates that are built
into Flash (HTML Settings panel); or 2) Put the Flash 6 movie on a
separate HTML page from the Flash 8 SWF.

Text in navigation bar and footer appears with time lag

When I preview my muse website on business catalyst sometimes - not always - the text in the naviagation bar and some of the text in footer area is invisible. After mouse over the text appears.
The same effects happens after uploading my final website to my hosting provider. This effect could be very confusing for my website visitors.
What can I do to avoid this effect.

Are you using web fonts and testing on Chrome browser? If yes, please refer to the following thread - http://forums.adobe.com/message/6238025.

Run diadem and Script automatically with windows

It would be possible to give an exe or something like that, with windows and after execute this, DIAdem automatically run and when Diadem opened, run my script also automatically??

Hi Sara,
You can absolutely run the DIAdem exe automatically from Windows, for example, as a startup executable, Windows Scheduled Task, or batch file.
Using DIAdem, if you want to automatically run a SCRIPT when the application opens, use the Start Script option under Settings » Options » General » Start Script.
If you want your users not to see DIAdem executing, there are a couple of approaches you could take, depending on your desired behavior and comfort with programming. For example, you could:
Call DIAdem programmatically using ActiveX from another language like LabVIEW and choose to hide the environment when running, or
Have DIAdem SCRIPT run a SUD dialog that masks the DIAdem screen and reports a simpler version of information updates to your user, or
Use DIAdem's customization abilities to programmatically hide all Panels and Toolbars, or
Use your script to programmatically switch the screen mode in DIAdem (try pressing Ctrl+U interactively!) while your script is executing.

My contacts "go missing" and then appear with contact pics changed to different contacts

i tried to restore from last back up, but the sync started and saved as my last back up.
this is now ther 3rd time today this has happened

Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage :
Then, delete the backup.
After that to save new ones, turn the iCloud Backup ON.

On YouTube load, site leaves and script appears with no way to use.
