    My iPhone is in recovery mode, But once it's done with the process a tab comes up saying there was something wrong restoring it (1015) error. Any suggestions of how I could fix this?

    Error 1015: This error is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch's software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software available from Apple. This error can also occur when an unauthorized modification of the iOS has occurred and you are now trying to restore to an authorized, default state.
    In other words:
    The backup to which you're trying to restore was created with a lower or previos version of iOS than the one installed on your iPhone during the recovery.  If this is the case then you'll be unable to restore your phone with that backup and you'll have to set your iPhone up as new.  Or,
    Your iPhone was/is jailbroken.  If this is the case, there is nothing anyone here or at Apple can do for you.

  • Once I'm done with project

    Once I'm done with a project what is the best way to get that quality sound to a CD? After mixing I usually just bounce it and send it to itunes and then burn a cd to there. Is that my best option?

    after thorough investigation I found out the problem resided either in a long animation with a very large PSD file at the end of the sequence (credit roll) or with an additive dissolve dealing with said file.
    problem solved.

  • I know this can be done with javascript, but how precisely?

    Hi there, I have a personal art website that I've been having trouble with.  The website in question is http://www.aidenart.com.  The issue that I'm dealing has to do with the concept art page which  you can click on using the top navigation bar.  On that page there are  thumbnails of images and when you click on any one of those image  thumbnails you should be taken to a new WEB PAGE with the full image on  it.  The fact that the link brings you to a new web page is important.   On each of the web pages that shows the full image I want to provide  some navigation for the visitor to use.  There's going to be a button  that will link back to the main concept art page and a jump menu that  will let the visitor go to any of the other concept art pages that they  want.  Both of those things I already know how to do.  The thing is I  also want put in NEXT and PREVIOUS buttons that will allow the visitor  to go to the next or previous page in the list of concept art pages even  if they've never visited the page before.
    I know this  can be done because I've seen other websites that have it.  I took a  look at their source code and most of them seem to be using some sort of  javascript code with an onClick or onChange behavior.  If someone could  just help me find the basic coding for making this happen in  Dreamweaver with maybe at least two or three pages then I could probably  figure the rest out from there.
    The last time I asked  this forum about this problem everyone seemed to think that I wanted to  create an image gallery, but I don't.  I want the visitor to be able to  cycle through the WEB PAGES that have the image and might have more  images in the future, not just the images themselves.  And using some  sort of code that has to do with the web browser's history isn't going  to do what I want.
    Here's some code from other websites that I found using just what I want to accomplish.
    <TD  ALIGN=RIGHT><INPUT TYPE=BUTTON Value=' &lt;  Prev '  onClick="self.location='/s/3112627/1/Yami_no_Game_Dark_Saga'">  <SELECT title='chapter navigation' Name=chapter  onChange="self.location = '/s/3112627/'+  this.options[this.selectedIndex].value +  '/Yami_no_Game_Dark_Saga';"><option  value=1 >1.                  </TR>
    The first example is from http://www.fanfiction.net/.   If you click on any of the stories there that have more than one  chapter then you should see code somewhere that looks like the above  example.  This type of navigation, which can be seen in the upper right  corner of stories that use it, is exactly what I've been trying to  accomplish for quite some time now.
    Here's another example.
    <form method="" action="" name="hero_form">
             <select name="hero_choices" onChange="swap_hero(this.options[this.selectedIndex].value);">

                 <td align=center>
                                         <a  href='showhero.phtml?hero=4'><img  src="http://images.neopets.com/galleryofheroes/goh_left_arrow.gif"  border=0 width=80 height=80></a>

                 <td align=center><a href='../hero.phtml'><img  src="http://images.neopets.com/galleryofheroes/goh_home.gif" width=50  height=50 border=0></a></td>
                 <td align=center>
                                         <a  href='showhero.phtml?hero=6'><img  src="http://images.neopets.com/galleryofheroes/goh_right_arrow.gif"  border=0 width=80 height=80></a>
    With this example the website even used images as the buttons  instead of just simple input buttons.  I'd like to use my own images for  buttons if I can.
    My computer is a Macbook with the  most recent operating system (as far as I know) and I have Dreamweaver  CS5 installed on my computer.

    Your example uses straight text links.  Nothing fancy, no complicated JavaScripts are used.  Just a lot of manual linking.
    Example:  http://www.aidenart.com/Concept%20Art%20Pages/ConceptImage1.html
    PREVIOUS: http://www.aidenart.com/Concept%20Art%20Pages/ConceptPage2Arga.html
    MAIN: http://www.aidenart.com/ConceptArtMain.html
    NEXT: http://www.aidenart.com/Concept%20Art%20Pages/ConceptPostitTiratsu.html
    Each page contains a different PREVIOUS and NEXT link depending on where it appears within the site.
    Hopefully this answers your question.

  • Video stutter with iTunes movies - how to fix?

    I just downloaded some movies from iTunes for the first time in both HD and standard format but none of them will play stutter free. I have these horizontal lines going through the image like the frame is slowly building itself up. Sometimes the whole frame will even freeze and then fast forward to catch up with the audio.
    I never had this problem with any other HD video on my computer before. Does anyone know how to fix this?
    Thanks!

  • I am done editing in Develop; how do I save edited images for web?

    I get the import and development options in Lightroom but I was told by a LR representative when I called for assistance that LR does not retain any data.  So, if I import photos from my camera (NEF files) and edit in Develop; where do I save the edited photos and how can I adjust them for optimum quality on the web?  It seems that there are instructions on how to import and save photos from your camera, etc. but once you modify the photo using Develop, is the original then modified as well?
    Sorry for the question, but I have modified several photos using the Develop Option and hate to lose all my work.  I am lost as what to do now in order to save my edits.  Ugh!
    Thank you to anyone who can help!  I am a MC Windows user if that helps.

    Editing in develop is totally non-destructive. All your develop settings are saved automatically in the LR database (catalog)
    For web usage select thumbnail(s) of your images in the Library and click Export. Choose jpeg, size, quality and resolution of 72 and set color space to sRGB. Add sharpening if desired. Choose a folder, sub-folder or desktop and export. Your jpeg copies will be ready to upload from your chosen folder when the export completes.

    I don't mind having GC getting to it but it's not doing so now. .. Isn't it? GC is only called when the JRE feels it is necessary. Definitive evidence of a memory leak is generally revealed by an OutOfMemoryError. Does the code throw OOMEs?Excellent point. I tried loading over and over to force an OOME. I found that after the memory footprint grew to about 750mb, it reset down to about 130mb again, so it seems that GC does eventually kick in. Perhaps what I have is fine.
    That question brings me to the code sample. Typing an image file name in a text field is soooo 1980s. It would take a long time and much hard work on the part of the person testing it, in order to get to an OOME.In my actual application I'm using drag-and-drop to specify the image. The text field was just to simplify the code sample. How you get the file location is not relevant for the question - it's how the resources are released. If you're saying my code is fine regarding and shouldn't be holding onto any resources, that's great. I'm not saying that. So far I've not looked closely at the code, and am no expert on resource caching in any case.
    ..I am looking to confirm I'm following best practices regarding image resources.Good show. There is too much rubbish code out there.
    ..With the code sample, you just have to specify one .jpg file and repeatedly click the button to see the memory grow, so there's no burden to type a new file each time.Oh right, my bad. I had presumed it required a different image each time. Still (grumbles) a file chooser to select the image file would not have gone astray - for us lazy types. ;)

    Hi Rocky.
    Are you saying you want to delete your projects?
    Before you do that, consider saving them to a flash drive or uploading them with the Share button. If you click the "personalize and print" checkbox, you'll be able to print your project again or make changes later. (See image below.)

  • When downloading a large file, like a movie Internet Explorer automatically provides one with the choice of where to save it - e.g. "C" drive, but Firefox doesn't. How can it be done?

    When downloading a large file, like a movie, Internet Explorer automatically opens a download window offering the choice to "Open" or "Save"the file. This provides one with the choice of where to save it - e.g. "C" drive, in the "My Documents" or "Desktop" folders but Firefox's download window doesn't. This has always frustrated me because I would rather use Firefox exclusively to access the Internet, but when it comes to saving files downloaded off the Internet, sadly, I have to revert to IE!

    If you click on Firefox from the upper-left, then Options, a new window should appear. On that window, click on the general tab. In the middle of the window, you'll see options regarding your downloads, one of which says, "Always ask me where to save files." Click on the bubble for this options, then click Ok. From then on, you should always be prompted on where you want your files saved.
