You can open a new tab to return to the about:newtab page with the thumbnails of visited web pages.<br />
If you have set the home page to this about:newtab page then you can click the home button on the right end side of the Navigation Toolbar.<br />
You do not get an enabled back button to go back to the about:newtab page if other pages are opened from this page.

If Iwant to download an app, I got to the App Store and when I search for something, it keeps loading forever. This makes it impossible for me to get any app! dpes anybody know how to fix this and why is it happening???

Hi Friend,
You just write down the name of the app or for what the app is used for (eg, write down Notes and then will appear a lot of options), then download what you wish.

I'm using 3G3 16gb and just upgraded to 4.3.3. Tried activating bluetooth to use Personal Hotspot for my laptop. But the iphone keep searching for devices thou my laptop can detect the phone. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Open iTunes...
If you're using iTunes 11 click on the box icon in the top-left corner to see the " Show Menu Bar "
and from the Menu Bar select Store...
From the Store menu, choose Authorize This Computer.

Photo albums are not searched by Spotlight Search. Go to Settings > General > Spotlight Search to see and reorder the available search items.

I downloaded the newest version of firefox today 8/16/11 and now I cannot use Evernote (nor does clipmarks work from before) this is unacceptable. How do I return to the earlier version of firefox? Until Evernote updates their add-on to mark it compatible with Firefox 6, you can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ Add-on Compatibility Reporter] to try re-enabling it yourself.
You can also downgrade to a previous version of Firefox from [https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ this archive], but please be warned that some old versions of Firefox have known security bugs that are fixed in later versions. Why does the App Store crash every time I search for something on my iPod?
Every time I open the App Store on my iPod touch and search for something, it crashes. I tried resetting my iPod, but the App Store still crashes. I used to love my iPod and was very happy to have supported Apple, but it just makes me angry more than anything now. Also, in the Tree World app, my hippo was deleted. I was moving my critters around on their branches when all of a sudden my hippo was carried off the screen never to be seen again. I can't buy it from the market. I am VERY upset over this.
I have the same bug cuz of the new App Store application ,,, almost the next update they ll fix it ,,
But really it isn't a big problem ,,, after AppStore crash open it again ,,, & install what u want ,,,

How do you return to the US store if you have been switched
I seem to have been switched to the Russian store without realizing it. I went to make a purchase on my IPad and was given an error message that I had to return to the US store. How do you return to the US Store?
Try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPad and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select the US.

For Boot Camp, if you save a file when you are on the Windows side, when you return to the Mac side, can you see the file or can it only be "seen" on the operating side you create it in?
Why don't you (generic most every post lacks critical details) be clear and say you never used Mac OS etc.
But, I did try to anticipate and give you what you needed.
Excel is one of those rare programs that, if they are extremely large complex spreadsheets still tend to run better under Office for Windows.
A VM won't do for that but it does make it easier to transition. As in: install Windows natively, then use VMware Fusion or Parallels to attach to the partition and OS. That way you can run Windows as Guest OS VM under Mac; and still run Windows natively dual-boot when needed.
The word "see" was not what you wanted, was it? really? you want to open and make changes and keep it on Windows side rather than Save As or copy to Mac

Help to search for a string value and return the index in the arraylist

I just start java programming for the last three weeks and I cannot find a solution for this problem. I have the following List with string and integer value as shown below:
List<Empl> list= new ArrayList<Empl>();
list.add(new Empl(1,"Jim", "Balu",88);
list.add(new Empl(3,"Bob", "Howards",2);
list.add(new Empl(2,"Chris", "Hup",8);
I have no problem of sorting this arraylist either by firstname or lastname. However, I cannot think of a way to search for a firstname or lastname and returing the whole row. I do not want to use index since I am asking user to enter the name to search. Here is my code to search for an empl based on index.

firstNames.add(e.firstName());As long as you always add them in the same order, the indexes will match, so you could do something like
ians = firstNames.indexOf(nameToFind);to return the index of the name, if it's there (if not, it will return -1).
I wouldn't recommend this as standard practise, but it should be OK for the level you're at.
NOTE: indexOf() returns the index of the FIRST matching item. You may want to think about what you want to do if there are more than 1.
