One app of four wont sync to iTouch
One app of the four I've purchased will not sync to my Itouch from the library on my Mac Mini.
iTunes on the Mac Mini thinks it is synced, but it does not appear on the iTouch. The other three are fine.
The unsyncable app is Animated Knots by Grog
- Are the apps compatible with your model iPod and its iOS?
- Do you have restrictions set that prevent install those apps? Settings>general>Restrictions?

Sorry but still new at this.The only apps that will be on your ipod after you sync, will be those that are selected. If you de-select an app, then it will be deleted from the ipod.

Apps on iPad wont sync with iTunes
Since a few weeks apps I bought on my iPad will no longer be copied to my PC when I connect with iTunes.
When I synchronise iTunes says it copying the apps to my PC (the names appear I in the informationwindow), but they don't appear in the Library/Apps afterwards, nor in the Apps-tab under iPad. Neither do I get any errors-messages
I tried:
1. Selecting "Transfer purchases ..." from the menu
2. Clicked the button "Synchronise" in the "Apps"-tab
3. In the apps-store of iTunes rebought a (free) app that I previously bought on my iPad and wouldn't appear in iTunes
4. Removed the "iTunes" folder in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple Computer" and resynchronised
5. In "Preferences" reset the "Synchronisation history"
Anybody any idea what is going wrong? Anything else I can try?It should transfer the content when you sync. As long as you are signed into the correct iTunes/Apple ID on the computer as you are signed into on the iPad, the purchases should transfer.
Try to transfer the purchases manually.

If you don't see the sidebar in iTunes, from the menu at the top of the screen, go to View>Show Sidebar. -

My apps and music wont sync to my touch.
I recently downloaded new music and it will not allow me to sync my music from my itunes to my iPod. I thought restoring it might help, but I have multiple apps that are not showing up on my summary page, and a statement saying if I update my ipod, the apps not transferred will be gone. I dont know what to do in order to get the apps to my computer, as well as getting the music from my computer to the touch. Any advice? Please help?

iv moved all the music over thought home sharing... from the old itunes i was using but i want to be able to sync my iphone with the new itunes on my new machine but its saying saying syncing setp 1 of 1 and nothing happens... could someone please help me with this?
Copy the entire iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.

You can only sync with one ITunes library. It you switch iTunes library iTunes will erase the iPod and replace it contents with what is in the library of the new computer. -
Itunes wont sync apps to itouch
no matter what i do it wont sync them. ive closed and reopened itunes, reset my ipod twice, logged out of my account on both itunes and ipod and logged back on and still nothing.
nvm, i didnt have the "sync apps" box checked off under the "apps" tab when the ipod is selected... blonde moment

My computer crashed and the hard drive is no longer. I have purchased a new laptop but now have no access to my old itunes library. My laptop has created a new itunes account with NOTHING in it?? My Itouch has everything loaded but it wont sync with this itunes account....HELP

- Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of those discussed here:

- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup
Note that the iPod backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music. -
Itunes 9.0 wont sync facebook and other apps
i just downloaded itunes 9.0 and for soem reason it wont allow several apps to syn to my itouch. one of which is facebook. it syncs over most of my apps but for some reason it wont sync facebook. I check the box for the sync, then sync the itouch, it will say facegook is being installed, but at the end of the sync, it automatically "unchecks" the box for facebook and the app in never sync'd over. it happens will about 7 other apps. any ideas??
I have the exact thing going on. DLd itunes 9 this morning and have spent the last two hours going blind reading forums. I guess it's something to do with individual apps. After completely removing the .ipa for each problem app, I tried re-downloading from both itunes(didn't work) and from the App Store via my itouch then transfering back into the itunes library. Nothing worked.
What's funny is they all list in the itunes library fine, and will even attempt to sync but the sync lasts about one second, then unchecks the problem apps as if I never really checked them. Here are my problem apps:

My iphone 4s wont sync when I connect it to the pc( not apple). It is connected as it comes up on itunes but when I try to sync it with apps/ music etc it wont. I am doing something wrong or is it a mistake with the phone. I am still able to download apps and music from itunes on my phone though.
I already restored it but that didn't help.

If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

to sync. Can anyone help me please?Your iPod can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time. If you try to add content to it from another computer it will erase the contents of your iPod and replacement it with the contents of the new library.
In regards to the unstableness, have you tried a hard reset to see if that makes a difference? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

Cannot authorize apps to be synced to itouch
i have an itouch 4 and the other day i tried to sync my itouch with itunes and most of my apps were deleted from my itouch, only a few are left. i keep trying to sync them again, but it says that my computer is no longer authorized for apps installed in my itouch. So i authorize it and an error message pops up every time: we could not complete your itunes store request. an unown error occurred (-42003).
I had the same issue, that is now solved without losing anything. I don't know what fixed it, but I'll tell you everything I did.
- I remembered 5 computers were authorized for my account, which is the max. I went into my account and deauthorized all the them. It didn't solve it.
- I signed of, signed in again, it didn't solve it.
- I went to my other computer, authorized it, and didn't get the error. So I thought it was on my main computer that there was an issue. So I was thinking of reinstalling iTunes, but instead,
- I disconnected my iPod from the USB port
- I rebooted my computer
- I authorized it, THE ERROR WAS GONE
- I connected my iPod and synced it.
Could you guys try? I'm curious to know if it will solve your issues too. I repeat that I don't know what solved it. It might be the reboot, it might be that the iPod wasn't connected on the USB, it might be that I rebooted my computer, that I reauthorized an other before the one that has the issue, ... ? -
Apps from Itunes won't sync with Itouch
Can someone help on this? My apps to itouch where working fine until I uploaded f W7 OS from Vista. Now the new apps show as grey on the itouch (not bold)and won't sync. If I check the SYNC APPS a warning states all existing apps in the Itouch will be wiped out. What am i missing? Thanks
I took advantage of my one free call to apple support and resolved the problem. If you are having the same problem as above - try the following - turn on Itunes and connect your device.Open file- click "transfer purchases from Itunes"follow the instructionsu - All your apps will now be stored in the library (only the ones you purchased free or paid for, from Itunes)Go to your device open the apps section - they should all show in the left hand side under SYNC APPS in bold. Hope that helps others.

I upgraded from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 6. Everything converted fine. Yesterday I deleted an app in error. When I downloaded the software it from iTunes ( did this many times on the old 3GS), my account is no longer recognized by the app's host servers (Playtika), even though it did after the initial conversion. Can I go back and re-sync just one app from my old phone?
Try deleting what is called the iPod Photo Cache.
