One component is not exploding in CN21,while creating throgh VA01.

Hello Friends,
Iam a PP Consultant and working on PS .
my client having variant configuration.they create standard network cn01 and allocate the phantom assembly with materials say x and y in the activity 0080 .
They created bom cs01 with dependency for phantom assembly A.
while creating sales order through VA01 the bom is exploded through standard network by selecting different variant.when i saw in the CN22 only y component is exploding and x is not seen.
Please give the solution for the same

BPM - Message interfaces of one component are not appearing in another comp

We have created 2 software components(X and Y) for File to RFC scenario.
"X" SWC is dependent on "Y" SWC.
We are building sync-async bridge using BPM. We have created one BPM in X component. This BPM has the visibility of message interfaces only particular to that component only, not the other component. Though wehave created dependency between these 2 components. But without this we cannot build sync-Async bridge.
Please could you provide the inputs, so that we can proceed further.

Where are you developing your BPM objects in X or Y ?
If X is dependendent on Y , then you can access Abstract interfaces created in the X in Y.
After creating SWC dependency, then refresh the cache and check out is it working ..

Layout Par file name not appearing in list while creating new Layout

I downloaded com.sap.portal.layouts to modify the light_framework page to suit my needs, renamed it to com.mycomp.portal.layouts, modified the page, created a par file and uploaded it thru NWDS.
When I go to the portal to create a new Layout, I do not see my custom par file in the list.
I have even uploaded it from the portal: System Administration -> Support -> Support Desk -> Portal Runtime -> Administration Console -> Archive Uploader. Even after it was successful, I was not able to see the par file listed while creating a new Layout.
How do I get my Layout par file listed do i can create my Layout?

I never had a problem with the JAR files in this par file while opening, nor did I have to manually add anything.
I know it has been successfully uploaded in the portal, as I can see my par file in the Archive Deployment Checker.
What could be wrong? Is there something else I have to put in the portalapp.xml to make it visible in the list?

Regarding pricing not picking from contract while creating service entry

hello,
we are facing a problem -we have created a contract with a service item and made a purchase order with the same reference as well. problem starts while creating service entry sheet while adopting the services its not picking the rate from the contract. please guide us how to proceed further.

Hi Ritesh,
please check the pricing date in the contract service item and also in the entry sheet header. The price could be probably not found due to different validity of the pricing condition in contract - the price from the contract is not valid on pricing date of   the service entry sheet.
The price in SES is determined on the base of the value in the
field 'Price Reference Date of Entry Sheet' (ESSR-LBLDT). This field
is located on 'Basic data' tab.
However, enhancement SRVESSR (customer exit EXIT_SAPLMLSR_010) can
be used for changing this behaviour.

Issue in Exploding Alternate BOM while creating Planned Order to PR

Hiii All,,
I have maintained a two BOM's for a finished material one for In House production and one for Sub contracting the components for the Two BOM's are different.
i have maintained Two Versions for the finished material also.
when i covnvert a planned Order to an Sub Contracting Purchase Requisition alternate BOM doesnt explode. i have also maintained a production version in the Purchase info record. Still the main BOM explodes.
i have to manually change the planned order and give the other production version ie not the Inhouse BOM.
After creating the PR then again i have to go planned order and change to the normal InHouse BOM.
Please Provide me the solution.

Hi
In order to explode your alt BOM in your PR do the following.
1. Maintian alt BOM
2.Maintain a Version using this alt BOM only. Do not select any routing /rcp group.
3.Give this Version name in your Inforecord (ME11).
4.Set the "MRP" field as "Record Relevant to MRP " in your Source List for the material.
5.In the material master, select the procurement type (MRP2) as " X " ( ie, both proc types).
I am sure it will work for you

Unfortunately I have to tell you that the described behaviour is not
an Error but SAP Standard behaviour.
Please see note 448814 question 7.
In SAP Standard it is not foreseen to take over the header text of a
PREQ to a PO !
You can try to use BADI ME_REQ_HEADER_TEXT .
I have found a document which gives coding for Purchase Requisition Header Long Text using Badi - ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST:

Vendor not in SRM portal while creating the SC

Hi Gurus
User is trying to use the vendor 9001265 at the time of creating SC in the SRM portal, but EBP portal search provide the message as no value found
I verified the vendor in EBP Production system and SAP R/3 , in both places, vendor is active and in SAP R/3, the vendor is not blocked for the purchasing and payment.
Please advice.

BAPI not updating Z-fields while creating PR

before calling Commit FM please try using FM ZZG05_BUPA_EVENT_DSAVB and then commit the changes.
or
Use the Function Module CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE. You can update or create standard and newly created fields(EEWB).
The following FM updates all the customer fields.

Not using substitute material while creating sales order with function?

hi experts.
I use SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE function to create a sales order.
Material A has a substitute material B with substitute reason 0005.
So if I use material A when creating sales order with SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE, the order is created with material B.
I don't want to substitute the material automatically. I want to create the sales order with material A.
What should I do? Help me please.

Error While Creating Proxy in SPROXY

Hi All,
We Created one Packagewith NAme ZPACK1 in SE80.
While Creating Proxy in SPROXY TC, it is Asking Package & Prefix
We gave Package as ZPACK1 & Prefix as ZPREFIX.
Then One Error is Comming Like <b>"Package ZPACK1 has no use access to package interface SAI_TOOLS"</b>
Please let me Know the Solution for this Error.

Hi,
The packages that contain or use proxy objects must have a use declaration for the package interface SAI_TOOLS. In addition, the corresponding structure package must contain a use declaration for the package interface SAPPINT.
For the proxy runtime, a use declaration must be available for the package interface SAI_SXMS.
Generating Proxies By Using Transaction SPROXY
1. Call transaction SPROXY in the system in which you want to generate a client or server proxy.The system displays a navigation tree on the left-hand side of the screen; it has the same structure as the interface maintenance tree in the Integration Builder. The interface objects are ordered according to software component version, namespace and object type
If no connection to the Integration Repository exists, the system only displays
interface objects in the tree structure for which a proxy exists in the system.
2. Choose an interface object for which no proxy already exists. To create a proxy for this interface object, double click the context menu Create Proxy.
3. In the dialog box, specify the name of the package where you want to create the proxy objects. You can also specify a prefix for the names of all objects to be created to avoid naming conflicts with names that already exist in the system.
Other way.. try this :

1. Call the Object Navigator (transaction SE80) in the system in which you want to
generate a client or server proxy. Select a package and call the context menu. Choose Create → Enterprise Service / Web Service → Proxy Object.

If you choose XI Repository as the source of the WSDL document, the hierarchy of the software component versions in the Integration Repository is displayed in the
subsequent window. The interface objects are ordered according to software
component version, namespace and object type . Choose an interface object for which no proxy already exists and confirm by choosing Copy.
3. In the subsequent dialog window, enter the name of the package where you want to create the proxy objects. You can also specify a prefix for the names of all objects to be created to avoid naming conflicts with names that already exist in the system.

we have requiremet that while creating SO (VA01) for each item it sould show the message (Popup Screen) about Total Stock & Total Open Oder quantity for that material when user enters the material, plant & storage location in line item.

Hello Venkatesh,
You can use userexit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP in include MV45AFZZ. This user exit is executed every time the user enters item data and hits return. The VBAP data is available in structure xvbap.
xvbap-kwmeng contains the ordered qty. for that item
xvbap-kbmeng contains the confirmed qty. for that item
I am not so sure in regard of the available stock qty. because it depends on your stock set up (e.g. batch stock, etc.) but you should be able to figure that out.
Just check, if the required xvbap fields are populated and then raise the popup which displays the information to the user.

I am getting an error in rsa1 while creating an Infoset. The error message reads "Network is only supported in WinGUI". But I do not get any error while creating Infoobjects or DSOs or Infocubes. Error screenshot is attached.
I am using SAPGUI for Mac.
Is this a known issue ?
