One device does not stop ringing when answering FaceTime with another

Does anyone have this problem; I have a 15'' MBP 2011 OSX 10.8.2., and an iPhone 4 running iOS 6.0.1. When my FaceTime receives a call, both devices are ringing just as they should, but one device does not stop ringing when I use the other to answer the call. However, the call is disconnected after some time (like, if you don't answer at all, the call attempt is dropped). So, my FaceTime calls are constantly dropped. IF I answer and then choose to reject the call with the other device, the call is disconnected.
This problem occurred some time ago, perhaps with the Mountain Lion upgrade, but not sure - I don't get that many FT-calls but from my family abroad.

I had the same issue pairing a Mac G5 powerpc with a 2014 Macbook Pro and resolved it. In addition to pairing the devices through System Preferences>Bluetooth, make sure that "Bluetooth Sharing" is checked in System Preferences>Sharing as well. In my case, the devices always say "disconnected" in the Bluetooth panel, but change to "Connected" during an actual file transfer. Try sending a file even though it says "disconnected" and it may very well work fine. It also helps to check "Show Bluetooth in status in the menu bar" so you can quickly initiate a transfer from there.

Does it play in iTunes on the computer? What is the format of the album?

Music does not stop playing when I disconnect from USB in car

When iphone is connected to car stereo, music does not stop playing when I disconnect the usb cable. If someone is calling me and I unplug from USB, all I hear in my ear is music...I cannot hear the person calling me. Not sure what's happened but it never used to do this. Any suggestions?

Nseries phones have behaved this way since forever.
I don't know any way to change this. Same behavior happens if you unplug your headset or headphones.

Executable does not stop running when closed

I am trying to build an executable, but it does not stop running when I quit. I have to stop it through the task manager. How can I make it actually stop the .exe thread?
I have confirmed that the loop stops running, and have even tried connecting it to the "stop" function.

I'm sorry, but I can't see th eexample because I am running 2009. I think I understand. I've cleaned up the code a little bit, and added a shift register for the events. Is this what I needed to do? This still does not solve the problem, unfortunately. If I close, the "Quit" sequence properly executes, (including closing of the front panel), but the thread still does not close.

Battery charger does not stop charging when battery is full

On my G4 laptop, the battery continues to charge even after the battery is obviously full charged. Also, the battery life indicator in the menu always says "calculating" rather than giving me the remaining time left on the charge.
I've tried two different batteries, and I've reset the PMU.
Any ideas or help with this problem?

I have the same thing happening to me. My indicator at the top right of my screen shows the plug sign at 99% or 100& but the amber ring doesn't change to green. After a while the symbol changers to charge but the ring remains amber no matter what the symbol indicates. I've also reset the PMU. Waht worries me is that something is wrong. Should I ignore the improper amber ring color?

Oracle Text does not return results when String starts with two consecutive vowels

I hope someone can shed some light on a strange problem we're facing.
Oracle Database 11g R2 (11.2.0.4) EE 64-bit running on Windows 2008 Server R2.
When I create a context index on a varchar2 column (surname) it works fine when the surname starts with either a consonant or one vowel. But when the surname starts with two vowels it fails to return the record?

When HSBC bank security is invoked by a website within an inline page the confirmed page is presented within the inline subpage in such a way that one cannot continue with the transaction confirmation, consequently the payment verification fails. Google chrome, safari and explorer do not suffer from this problem. It makes using my favourite browser impossible whenever I need to security verify any payment on a number of websites.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar or the Babylon extension that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links and buttons in that part of the screen not clickable.

JScrollpane does not work properly when I interlinked to another Scrollpane

I am trying to develop a small Editor using java Swing. I hav to display Line numbers also. for that i used another textarea and set the scrollbar model of that to the scrollbar model of text area where i type the programs. the module works perfectly in the first appearance.. scrolls same time..but the problem arises when i insert a new line into or delete a new line from the text area. when i am inserting or deleting the scrollbar of the prgram text area scrolls down immdtly after the insertion or deletion...
I tried a lot to solve the problem. Please help me...

I hav to display Line numbers ...Whatever component you use to display the line number you should add the component directly to the scroll pane that contains your main text area. You do this by using the scrollPane.setRowHeaderView(). I've posted several example of this if you search the forums.

Vibration does not stop near my ear

I think this happens after the iOS 8 updates.
After pressing the green button for receiving a call, the phone keeps vibrate a while and does not stop even when it's close to my ear.

On the iMac and MacBook open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Contacts, then reselect it then restart the Macs.
On the iPhone tap Settings > iCloud
Switch Contacts off then back on then restart the iPhone.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

An iPad can be synched with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iTunes library.

There is no way to consolidate iTunes accounts.
Setting up an iPhone has never required creation of a new Apple ID.
You've apparently purchased content with both Apple ID's. Sign into the device with the correct Apple ID and sync the content.
