One ERP & two PI Integration

Hi Experts,
Though it sounds not a meaningful requirement, due to some licensing and security restriction - we require to integrate two PI systems to our ERP system.
Please let us know how to set up the Integration Server from the ERP system?
How to also set up the system landscape in both the PI systems?
Any information is very much helpful.

Two web dispacther pointing to one ERP 6.0 System.

Dear friends, a customer has the need to connect a second web dispatcher form the DMZ. They have one web dispatcher installed locally serving internal request (customer network). But now, they need to install a second web dispatcher for external requests (DMZ) with SSL. I think this is totally possible without problem, but i have a doubt regarding of the connection of two web dispatcher to one ERP 6.0 system.
Do you visualize any problem with this configuration?

Two SCM Systems connected to one ERP System

Hello Experts,
Here again I got a doubt.
Is it technically possible to connect two SCM Systems via CIF to one ERP System?
Because I heard that we could connect more than one ERP System to one SCM System, but not vice versa.
If you have seen a system in production like this, what are the pros and cons of having such a scenario?

Hi,
technically it's no problem to connect two or more SCM systems to the same ERP system. We have one for DP/ PP/DS, one for EWM and one for SNC connected to the same R/3 systems. You however might get problems with the bom explosion for planned orders being sent from SCM to R/3.
The bom explosion uses field MARC-APOKZ which is maintained automatically by CIF. If there are multiple SCM system using CIF for product master data the field might not be set up correctly and the bom explosion could be wrong.
As a solution SAP provided OSS note 1576703.

One ERP Sender to Multiple PI

Hi All,
I am currently evaluating the possibility to connect one ERP to more then one PI that belong to the same organization.
The idea would be for instance to send customer to PI_1 and vendors to PI_2 (it's an example, the reasons for this approach is not relevant).
I am interested in asynchronous communication, for this reason I am not tacking into consideration, RFC and enterprise services (even if a few of them are asynch they do not provide features like EOIO queue name specification, and ack).
Now, for sure the proxy technology is not appropriate, it is not feasible to connect one ERP to two different PI as you can only specificy one single integration engine.
For this reason the only possibility I see is to evaluate this scenario with IDocs, infact they offert the possibility to define in the source system partner profile different routing (different RFC destination for different receivers).
My doubt is now related to PI, and in particular in PI_1 and PI_2 with a share SLD, where the business system of the source will be associated to only one integration server (PI_1 or PI_2), so there is no chance to associate the business systems with both, and this means I do not see a chance to define a receiver determination for sender in PI_1 and a receiver determination for sender in PI_2.
What do you think about it?
Did you had experience regarding such scenario or some ideas to share?

Hi Sergio,
If you are using PI7.1 there is an option of using WS adapter for achiving this.
Also in one of our desing approach where we were sending the data from SAP system to another PI system PI_2 lets say, while it was early connected to PI_1 syatem , we follwed the following approach.
Here SAP1 is connected to PI_1 and SAP2 is connected to PI_2.
SAP1--> SAP2--
> PI_2
Here we used a RFC connection between the SAP1 system and SAP2 system. So we just bypass the SAP2 system and communication happened between SAP2 and PI_2 system using proxy.

ERP sales document integration

the C4C offers the functionality to see related ERP sales documents in an opportunity. I would like to know the criteria that show these ERP sales documents. Are only open sales documents shown? Are only the last 5 sales documents shown?

Hello Koen,
When a C4C system is integrated to an ERP system, the integration capability allows to see followup documents to an Opportunity which are created from a C4C Opportunity screen itself.
You get to initiate from within C4C Opportunity:
1. Customer Quote Request.
2. Sales Order Request.
Once the above two request are initiated to integrated ECC system, on the ERP system you can create the follow ups to the above docs as:
1. Customer Quote.
2. Sales Order.
Once the above four docs are created, on the C4C Opportunity screen, under the tab SALES DOCUMENTS, you get to see:
1. Document ID for Customer Quote Request created on the ERP system.
2. Document ID for Customer Quote created on the ERP system.
3. Document ID for Sales Order Request created on the ERP system.
4. Document ID for Sales Order created on the ERP system.
When you click on the Document ID of any of the above four documents, you can see a PDF preview of the relevant document.

I dont know what this beep code means exactly but as you wrote, it could be a RAM issue.
Do you have two modules installed? If yes you should try to start your notebook with one module only and test each module in each slot to determine if its RAM, RAM socket or something else.
But if your notebook is under warranty the repair would be for free if you contact an ASP in your country. ;)

One computer, two itunes libraries, ?one authorization

I plan to buy a new iMac and will set up two user accounts on the one device. If each account has their own iTunes library, will that require one or two authorizations. I am concerned because I did not have a chance to deauthorize my other machines. Thank you for the information.

An authorization is for an iTunes store account.
If you have 2 (or more) user accounts on your computer and they all have individual libraries and all are authorized to use the one iTunes account, you will only have used one iTunes authorization.
One machine uses one authorization, regardless of number of user accounts.

I just purchased this product (acrobat online)
and it is not allowing me to do the things it promised, e.g. saving portions of one pdf to another, combining pages or entire docuements to create, even typing into a document (editing)! I am so frustrated - can someone please help!?

Thank you for your subscription. If you are Acrobat Plus subscriber then you can extract the pages from the PDF file using Tools> Pages> Extract pages.
You can find "Tools" at right top once you open your PDF file in Acroat.
If you are subscriber to PDF Pack then please download Acrobat XI Plus from www.adobe.com.
PDF Pack service offers "Convert to PDF", "Export from PDF"(to Word/PowerPoint/Excel/RTF formats so that you can edit the exported files) and "Combine Files" (combine your files into a single PDF file).
Please let me know if you have any quesitons.

A friend set me up with icloud and in the process he lost some of the book i was listening to. I can't find it in my ipod or on my computer. It is part one and two of a book; interest part three showed up hough.

I tried to download it again from itunes store but they said I already purchased it and I didn't want to be charged again. What can I do? If you've bought it from iTunes, you should be able to re-download it for free.
Download directly from iPod by going to the iTunes Store-App and find the "Purchased"-menu. From here you should get a complete list of all your bought items and the ability to re-download.
Download from iTunes on PC/Mac by opening iTunes > Go to iTunes Store > Go to the menubar on the left and choose "Purchased". Now, from the appearing window select the proper categori on top of the screen.

Issue Printing One or Two Checks on HP LaserJet Pro 200 MFP M276nw

I just purchased an HP LaserJet Pro 200 MFP M276nw which replaces an HP Color LaserJet 2605dn.
I've run into an issue printing checkes from Quicken when I print less than a full sheet (one or two) checks.
With my old printer, I used the manual feed for a partial sheet.
Since the new printer does not have a manual feed, I have to put the partial sheet in the paper tray.
It seems one of two things happen:
1) Sometimes the printer will print the partial page but then displays an error message which says something like "Unexpected paper size, load letter."
It then re-prints the partial page on the next sheet of paper.
2) Othertimes, it prints the partial page without the error message, but then feeds the next sheet of paper throught the printer.
In either case the next page contains the next three checks, so it's either wasting checks or printing on the wrong check numbers.
Any suggestions on how to avoid these issues would be appreciated.

I've been using an alternate printer for printing the checks, but I'd rather get rid of the old one. (The HP Laser Pro 200 takes up a lot of space!)

Can only import one or two songs at a time from a cd into itunes

Please help. I had a new hard drive put into my imac flat panel g4. When I try to import music from a cd into itunes it closes or freezes itunes after one or two songs have been imported.

hmmmm. do you have any other USB 2.0 peripherals plugged in to the PC?
if so, try (experimentally) disconnecting them prior to a sync. (sometimes power drain through one port can affect an ipod connection on a different port.)
any improvement in sync performance if you try that?
