One file has different names

I've never seen this before. A file has different names. See the get info: note the name at the top doesn't agree with the name & extension below. See the ls -l in the terminal as compared to the finder name.

Hi Robert, I've seen that a couple of times with Packages, I think it comes from them changing the Name of the APP but not in the Info.plist in the Package.
My BJPrinterUtility.app is version 3.2.0 and has "BJPrinterUtility.app" in all places.

Computer has different name than Itunes for Ipod Touch

I have an Ipod Touch 4th Generation 32gb. I have had no problems with it or with Itunes. My Mom came last Saturday to visit and she needed to charge her Ipod Touch so I hooked it to my computer where I always have a cord and charged it for about 45 minutes or so. I have no problem with my Ipod or with Itunes BUT when I go look at the device now on my computer,when it is connected to USB cord, it show "Marys Ipod" now instead of "Steves Ipod". In Itunes, it is still "Steves Ipod" and I can sync and all but I really want to get rid of "Marys Ipod" off my computer even though when I open it up, it is my ipod, just mislabed. I know because it has my pictures and her's is only 8gb. My Ipad2, is fine when I hook it up to the USB cord, It says "Steves Ipad" but when I hook my USB cord to my ipod touch, it still reads "Marys Ipod". Is this something I should be concerned about or is it not worth the hassle of trying to restore, etc? I have tried to change the name, but Windows won't allow. I do have Windows 7. I have also got the new update on Itunes and the new software(5.0) version.
I am stumped. I have googled this and have searched for over 3 hours today on how to fix this. Ready to bang my head against the wall. I have did a reboot on Ipod, I have restarted the computer. I have not reinstalled anything including Itunes.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? I would sure appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

I just found the answer to this after hours of searching online. Make sure your iPod is hooked up to your computer & turned on.
Click on "Start" and in the search box type "regedit". This will display a program called "Registry Editor". Open it.
Click on the "Edit" tab and select "Find...". Type "Mary" in the search box and click "Find Next". It will bring up a list of everything that has "Mary" in it. (You may have to click on "Find next" under the "Edit" tab in order to find the associated items that have something to do with both "iPod" and "Mary".) What you need to pay attention to is not the NAME, but the DATA column. For me, the wrong iPod name was listed in 2 places in the data column. The actual names of those 2 items were "FriendlyName" and "Label".
Once you find the associated items that have to do with both the iPod and "Mary", right click on one of them. Select "Modify...". A box will open giving a "Value Name" box and a "Value Data" box. The "Value Data" box should say "Mary's iPod". All you have to do is change it to "Steve's iPod" and click "OK". Repeat the "Modify..." and renaming of the "Value Data" steps for every item that says something about "Mary's iPod".
Close the Registry Editor. Open "my computer" and see that it changed the name of your iPod back to "Steve's iPod".

I have an Engineering department generally Create items and configure bills, routings then, transfer all to Manufacturing org.
My client has typical requirement as follows...
Engineering and manufacturing department has different name for same item.
Eg: Item A in Manufacturing org may be called as Item AA in Engg org. I have to maintain 2 names for same item. How to map this requirement in R12.

Satellite A205-S4629 BIOS Update Fail - File has different BIOS part number

I have used the Toshiba support download page to identify my model A205-S4629 Satellite laptop and downloaded the following BIOS update utility sa200f0v520.exe.
After building the IOS install disk and running the Phoenix Phlash16 utility I get the following message "File has different BIOS part number".
The utility is using the following image file MW10M520.ROM.

As far as I know the BIOS package downloaded from the Toshiba US driver page contains the WinRAR 32-bit self-extracting ZIP file which includes both Windows-based and diskette based BIOS update installation options.
Did you try to update the BIOS using Win-based BIOS?
What OS do you use?

How to read multiple files of different name using single file adapter

There are two inbound locations inbound1 and inbound2 , and the files structure present in these two inbound locations are same but the files start with different names example
(1)files in inbound1 starts with file1,file2...
(2)files in inbound2 starts with abc1,abc2...
by using same file adapter with read option how can i read both files....

You can define multiple directories using the above link in 11g and poll for the file as \*.*.
Alternatively you can use the Synchronous Read and specify the file name at runtime.
You can also use Pick activity to define multiple branches each with a File Adapter to read from a specified location with specified file name. Although it would contain multiple Adapter Definitions at Development-time, only one of the Adapters will execute at Run-Time.

Picking file with different names

Hi Experts,
I am doing file to file scenario without IR.I am just picking up the files from sap appl server and placing in third party server.
my question is i having ten files different names.so i haev to pick up all the files.i can not put the * in file name scheme as it has different file in the same folder which should not picked ip.
so how is is possible in file adapter do i need to create 10 different channels for 10 different file or any other way is there.

If you dont want any file to be picked by sender file adapter use the Exclusion mask in it.
Go to advance selection for source file

Problem saving files with different name with DFS installed

I have a server that I have DFS installed and running on. This appears to work fine. There is one problem that I have encountered though:
On a share I have a folder that is not inheriting rights from it parent object. This works fine with DFS. When I create a new word document and try to save it in this folder with a different name other than the default (doc1.doc) I get an error saying that the user doesn't have permission, but I can save it as the default name of doc1.doc. I can then re-name the file to what I want from windows explorer, open it up in word, work on it and save it again. Even with the new file name I can't do a save-as and save it as a different file.
All the other folders under the share that inherit rights from the parent folder work.
eg save-as in \\server\share\folder or below works
save-as it in \\server\share\no_inheritance or below does not work
Anyone have any ideas?

Save one file in different formats at once.

Hello,
I am a illustrator who needs to save files in different formats. Like 1 with a watermark, one small one for the website, another one for shop, a pdf file for the prints, etc. Is there a way to do all those things at once? Cause it really takes a lot of time.
I make my illustrations in photoshop, but if it's nessecary to only do those thing in another adobe programm, than that's no problem.

If you only want to number the images like ScreenShot_0000, ScreenShot_0001, and so on... Then you can use a class scoped integer variable to number them like below. Also, you can draw the panel directly to a Bitmap without using the CopyFromScreen
method.

However, when you close your application and reopen it again it would start at ScreenShot_0000 again and would overwrite any images that are in that directory that have the same numbered names. If you want it to automatically detect the last

Thanks for your solution. I would like to ask you question about open files and rename files, I know that there are out of the question in this thread but the only way I can get the answer through your solution.
My problem is when I open files "ScreenShot_0000.jpg" and then when I want to rename files the file will rename "ScreenShot_0001" instant of "ScreenShot_0000.jpg".
How can I suppose to open and rename files follow by sequence without interrupt?

Trace file with different name is alert log file.

I am strange today
i found a trace file generated in alert log file with name
/bdump/stlbas_cjq0_1880.trc:
but when i am trying to find out in bdump folder i cannot found
any file with this named. instead i found /bdump/stlbas_cjq0_1853.trc
is there any possibility of being this scenario ?
database version:- 10.2.0.4
Os:- sun solaries spark 64 bits

The trace file has been removed/deleted from an OS user. I think you should verify that with OS logs.

Look for files with different names

Do we have any utility or command in solaris 8 where we can check for files in two folders with different names and display them somewhere? Manual search for such files becomes very difficult when there are a large number of files in the folders. Please suggest.

Select the items, then Control-click one of them.
In the shortcut menu, select Rename Items.
In the pop-up menu below Rename Folder Items, choose to replace text in the names, add text to the names, or change the name format.
Replace text: Enter the text you want to remove in the Find field, then enter the text you want to add in the “Replace with” field.
Add text: Enter the text to you want to add in the field, then choose to add the text before or after the current name.
Format: Choose a name format for the files, then choose to put the index, counter, or date before or after the name. Enter a name in the Custom Format field, then enter the number you want to start with.
Click Rename.
Note: To batch rename, you would want to choose the "Format" option.

How to Send One file to different Receiver Systems without using ESR Object

I have developed two interafces in my current project and they are both By pass scenarios. My requirement was to Send Data from MDM system to BW system. This development does not involve any ESR objects, By Pass sceanrio.
Now there is the requirement to Send one file or files from MDM system to different BW( two BW systems for different regions)
How can i accomplish this.
here we are not using any ESR Objects, so to maintain any condition in Receiver Determination is not possible.
Please let me know how to do this.

If i understand your situation correctly, You need to define two separate Business Systems/Components in SLD for each BW system.
if you intend to send the file from MDM to both the BW systems, then you need to configure the following:
1. If you want to follow the classical approach (for this by-pass scenario):
a) Two receiver channels - One for each BW system
b) Two receiver agreements for each channel
c) One Receiver determination - with both the receiver systems added as receivers (w/o condition)
d) Two interface determination - Dummy mappings as it is a by-pass scenario
2. If yo want to go ahead with the Integrated Configuration (most preferred in this case):
a) Two receiver channels - One for each BW system
b) One Integrated Configuration Scenario (ICO) with both the receivers configured in Outbound Processing tab
Let us know if you were looking for something else (as your problem statement is not very clear)

and have you got the error you mentioned when testing with sample payload?
from where did you take the payload? if is from SXMB_MONI make sure you dont have <MESSAGE> tags in the payload,generally systems adds <MESSAGE> tags when you do multi mapping.
get the payload from SXMB_MONI right click ->view source payload(this is raw data) and test it.

I am streaming the file content from servlet. My header & content type setting looks as follows.
