One file to be sent to one of two message types.

Hi,
I have gone through many other messages but didn't get an answer. Please read the issue.
I have one file with 4 (suppose) records out of which 2 records go to one message type and the rest to other.
I have two message mappings for each message type (same basic type), one MI and two OM's.
On the confic side I have created all required paths.
When I put a file through its been picked up and in the message monitoring it shows as if they are scheduled to be sent but they are not creating any IDOC's. From past few days they are in the scheduled mode only.
Can anyone please help me. If I am not clear, I will explain in detail.

I think there are few entries in your queues. Since I cannot understand whether it is an inbound or outbound please go to SMQ1 and SMQ2. If you see any entries check all of them and delete them. So once deleted test it once again.

I am facing with a problem, the scenario is File to IDOC...
The file which comes has different message types if Message type is VERIFY then IDOC _-AFS_-DELVRY03 has to be triggered and if Message type is MIGO101 then IDOC _-AFS_-WMMBID02 has to be triggered,
Source message is same for both the idocs and mapping is different...
SO please any one can suggest how to proceed in Integration Directory configuration...

Your query is a little ambiguous.
You say, that the message type can be either VERIFY or MIGO101.
You also say that the source message is same for both the idocs. This is not very clear.
In case, you have the same message type, and VERIFY and MIGO101 are two fields/segments in this message type, then all you need to do is check if these segments exist, in interface determination.
Click the + symbol in the inbound interfaces section.Enter the following:
Condition: MT/VERIFY ex If so, call IMapping which maps message to idoc AFS_-DELVRY03. Inbound interface for this would be idoc AFS_-DELVRY03
Condition: MT/MIGO101 ex If so, call IMapping which maps message to idoc -AFS-WMMBID02. Inbound interface for this would be idoc. -AFS-WMMBID02.
In case you have two different message types(which means you have two different source messages), you could create two different scenarios.

I'm recording video on JVC HD camera.Every 13:54 it starts a new file.I have one file that won't play.I get this message:Quick time player can't open (names file) because the movie's file format isn't recognized. Only happens this one file.Ideas?

I can't open one Quick Time movie file. It says: Quick time player can't open (names file) because the movie's file format isn't recognized. Only happens on this one file. All the others of a two hour shoot are fine.
Any ideas what's happened and is there some way to open that file and retrieve what's on it?

Thanks this was useful. I have been ripping my audiobooks and I was finding that they would get uploaded to iCloud in the process, which in itself was fine, but then iTunes would not let me change the media type to Audiobook, which is annoying as it effects how iTunes treats the media. Like showing you the skip back 10 seconds button.
The general outline here helped me work around the issue and change the media type before the media was re-uploaded to iCloud.

Creating an html file in XI using an xsl stylesheet -- two error types

I am working on mapping an xml invoice to an html-file using a stylesheet (xsl-file) in the message mapping in XI 3.0.
Thus the inbound message is an xCBL Invoice and the output message is to be an html file. I name the output file "%supplierid%_%invoiceid%.html using the variable substitution functionality in the communication channel.
I have two problems:
1) the tags in the stylesheet are changed to " " in the resulting html file causing problems in the output file, as this is not valid XML.
2) I would like to insert the current date and time in the output file and I am using this code, but the date and time is not picked up:

Received:
<xsl select="xs:string(fn:current-dateTime())"></xsl>

How do I solve these two problems?

please note, that it is the tag "br/" that is changed to "br" in the html file.

This problem occurs after I move a file or files to trash. If I remove one file, then the sequence is one file off, if I move two files to trash then the sequence istwo file off. For example, if I delete file 1 and highlight (click on) file 3, then the cover flow panel shows file 2, when it should show file 3.

One file - many sales orders

I have a question. I have a CSV file that contains data to create Sales Order. I have a BizPackage and define process that creates one Sales Order. I wonder if it's possible to create different Sales Order from one CSV file?
For example - there are 2 rows in CSV and one row is one Sales Order. Is it possible to create in SAP BO two different Sales Order from that file?

A complete sales order includes a header and details. If only one header info in one file, you may only create one order.

Note, you can have multiple inner classes.
e.g.

Writing LabVIEW measurements of two loops (Charge cycle and discharge cycle) in one file

Hey,
I was wondering if it is possible to write Labview measurements from two loops (Stacked Sequence Structure) into one file. Currently, it is writing the charging data in one file and discharging data in one file. I have to combine the data everytime to graph the charge and discharge cycles and sometimes there's about 50 cycles and copying and pasting does take up lot of time.

QuickTime files have EXACT same specifications, one plays, other doesn't

Alright...some new info. I found two files in iTunes--one would play and the other wouldn't. I tried to open each in QT, QT 7 Pro, VLC, DiVX player, with the same results--one worked, one did not.
I opened Get Info on each .mov file and EVERY IMPORTANT DATA POINT was the same.
Kind: QuickTime Movie
Dimensions: 640 x 480
Codecs: H264, ACC
Color profile: SD (6-1-6)
Audio channels: 1
I could Read and Write on both.
So how would one file play and the other one just play audio?
I'm obviously missing something. I'd truly apprecate some insight.

What is the video data rate? What is the profile? What is the level? Which entropy mode does it use? What other data tracks are embedded in the file that would trigger the missing codec error? Or can you simply post a copy of the file for further examination?

One File Adapter, many xml types

Hi,
I have to use file sender adapter to read files from a directory. The files are in XML format. Each file has a different XML structure and I can not distinguish by the name file the type of XML that goes into the file. How can I do that ?.

hopefully you solved the issue already, but maybe someone else has the same issue.
I just faced the same challenge.
In my scenario the all message types have the same receiver but different inbound interfaces and mappings should be used.
I solved it by checking the root element with a xpath content based routing in the interface determination.
It's important that you register the different namespaces used by the message types and then just insert the root element name and as compare operation select EX
In my sample I have to deal with two message types which use different namespaces.
message type1 eCH-0020:delivery xmlns:eCH-0020="http://www.ech.ch/xmlns/eCH-0020/2"
message type2 eCH-0078:eventReport xmlns:eCH-0078="http://www.ech.ch/xmlns/eCH-0078/2"
Therfore I inserted both namespaces in the table of the expression editor
prefix eCH-0020 namespace http://www.ech.ch/xmlns/eCH-0020/2
prefix eCH-0078 namespace http://www.ech.ch/xmlns/eCH-0078/
the value of the prefix is up to you, I decided to use descriptive namespaces
and then insert follwing XPATH expressions
/eCH-0078:eventReport EX
/eCH-0020:delivery EX

Messages in multi-message format can only be sent to one Adapter Engine

Hi,
Using XI 7.0 SPS 12 I have a scenario Single Flat File->XI->Multiple Messages to ECC.
Due to an annoying limitation/bug in ECC we have to send workorders in to be processed as individual transactions. This means generating seperate calls to ECC from PI.
I've adjusted my message map (No BPM) to split the source messages out, but when it calls the XI adapter to send them to ECC I get the following:

I am generating multiple structures under
messages/message1/xx_my_structure_repeated_at_this_level
which gives the correct amount of payloads in moni.
I believe this error is because the http/idoc adapters dont go through the AE and it is the AE that splits the multiple messages into individual calls. Is there a clean workaround which doesnt involve BPM or intermediate writing to disk etc?

Hello.
I have a new MACBOOK PRO and I love it BUT.....
I have been having one specific email bounce back into my inbox (recovered messages section) over 1,000x's a day.
I keep deleting the messages and emptying the trash to try to stop it but its not working!!!
I contacted the person who i sent the email too and told them what was happening. Their response was, "its not coming from this end, check with your web guy..." UGH!!!
I am now not receiving any new incoming messages and I have had to result in using my iphone to check my inbox, every day!!
How do I fix this problem? OR......Should I just make a Genius appointment?? LOL

Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move this folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist.backup
Note, in 10.5 & up /Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/ may or may not exist.

The problem is that the file is picking fine from FTP ,but getting an error in SXMB_MONI as : Messages in multi message format can be sent to one adapter engine only. What could be the reason and how to rectify it . Please provide me the solution ASAP.

Send several pdf attachments has one file

I sent out an email today with 25 pdf files attached. The person who received it said she had to open each file to see it instead of the whole file being sent has one file. How do you do this?

if you have sent 25 different files, receiver will see 25 different files.
You can use acrobat and combine them into one single file and send that one file.
