One hour difference in events

We just encountered a user who is seeing all his appointments as one hour behind where they should be via the web interface but perfectly normal otherwise. Time zones for the web interface, desktop client, and Connector (which he's also tried), as well as his system time zone, are all correct, and his system time is correct.
Has anyone else seen this behavior or have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Peter Wiringa

Hi Peter,
The web interface you are referring to being off by an hour, is in the portal page? The timezone rules for this and that of the calendar applications are different. You will need to update the time/timezone definition of the portal page.
Thanks,
Lily

  • One hour difference from Nokia and Outlook

When I synchronise, calendar items appear with different times in Microsoft Outlook and in my Nokia device. I have checked the FAQ and I have done what it says.
    I have changed my Nokia 6110 clock by one hour for summer;
my PC was automatically also changed by one hour.
Now when I synchronise to Outlook there is one hour difference on all my appointments.

That's the point I was trying to make, but since you didn't say what part of Australia you were in, I couldn't give the details. GMT +11 is currently correct for Melbourne, ten hours ahead of the UK, which is GMT +1 until this weekend.

  • When syncing from Outlook on PC to iCloud there is one hours difference!

    Hi
I sync between my PC (win 7 64 bit home edition adn office 2010), icloud and my iPhone. ALL devices are set up properly...i.e. my pc, iPhone AND the iCloud settings are all in the same time zone (Jerusalem GMT +2) and they all use daylight savings.
The problem is when I add an appointment in my outlook 2010 calendar - the moment it syncs with iCLoud I can see on the iCloud web calendar that it appears one hour earlier than entered in the outlook calendar. I have done many tests - BTW appointments entered in the iPhone or iCloud web calendar appear at the right time when they sync to outllo. Problem only occurs from Outlook to icloud.
I have tried EVERY combination of settings, time zones, with and without daylight savings. I have also performed ALL of the suggestions on the apple troubleshooting guide (disabling/re-enabling icloud, rebooting etc etc). There is DEFINITELY an issue with time zones.
Does anyone else have this specific issue? Very frustrating (I am considering removing iCloud and moving to google for my sync).
I have only seen a few posts about this issue (no resolution) - usually from people in the middle east area or the ukraine...WHAT is going on??
Any help in shedidng light ont this would be appreciated - before I abandon apple products forever....

I too am having the same issue only I am in Regina, Canada.  iCloud appears to think Regina, Canada is in the Central time zone which it is, but it does not use Daylight Savings time.  My PC is Windows 7 and I am using Outlook 2010.  I have iCloud on iPhone 5 and iPad 2.   Terribly frustrating!

  • Outlook 2000 calendar sync with one hour difference into the iPhone

    Good morning,
I've two iPhone (one 3G and one 3GS) and both have the same issue. When I sync them with iTunes everything works fine but when I check the calendar entries on my iPhones everything is one hour later than the ones on my Outlook 2000. I've already checked the GMT setting on both Outlook and Windows, also the iPhone sync with my computer time and GMT when I connect it to the docking station so they are always the same.
Anyone has an idea about what is going wrong? Or is just a Outlook 2000 sync issue since I recall to have read somewhere that it's not a supported version?
    Thanks for your time.
    Kind regards,
    DocTooth.

Outlook 2000 is not supported. For contacts, these are the only supported Windows applications: Outlook 2003 & 2007, Windows Address Book (Outlook Express), Vista Windows Contacts, Yahoo! Address Book, Google Contacts. For calendars: Outlook 2003 & Outlook 2007.

  • Outlook 2007 calendar with iphone 5 gets one hour difference

    Good morning,
I've iPhone 5, windows 7 and Outlook 2007. When I sync the calendar with iTunes everything works fine but then tried to sync whith Icloud the calendar entries on my iPhones everything is one hour later than the ones on my Outlook 2007.
When I create a metting on outlook with the hour correctly on the Icloud and on the Iphone have one hour later.
When I create a meeting in the iphone, the icloud gets the hour correctly but outlook shows it one hour earlier.
I've already checked the GMT setting on both Outlook and Windows, also the iPhone sync with my computer time and GMT when I connect it to the docking station so they are always the same.
Anyone has an idea about what is going wrong?
    Thanks for your time.

  • One hour difference

An outlook invite from Outlook (8 to 12) to iCloud ends up in iCloud Calender as 7 to 11. Both systems are on the same time zone and same summer time.
When iCloud invite is accepted, it gives accept for 7 to 11, but in the attachement it gives in the detail still 8 to 12. What can I do to solve this?

  • How do I sync my icloud calendar between iPhone 5 and macbook pro without a 1 hour difference? I've made sure that the time zones are the same on all devices and it's still doing it.

I cannot get my iphone 5 and macbook pro to display the same time on my calendar. There is a one hour  difference between them and it is driving me crazy!! Please help!!!

Did you also confirm that the time zone was set correctly on icloud.com (click on your name, check Time Zone)?

  • Why is there a 2 hour difference between calendar event times after syncing? i.e., Dental appointment set at 9am on iphone but shows as 7am in icloud on pc after syncing.

I noticed that when I enter a time for an event on my calendar on my iphone then sync it to icloud the event is show but the time for the event shows a 2 hour difference. Example: Dental appointment set for 9:00 am on my iphone but after sync to icloud on my PC, it shows the time to 7:00 am on my PC calendar. Why is this?

    To diesel vdub
I found where to check icloud settings. Changed setting from Pacific to Central. That solved the problem.Thank you so much.

  • All my calendar events moved back one hour after daylight savings

After daylight savings I noticed that all my calendar events are now showing one hour later.  With an average of 10 events a day, there is no way to manually correct this- HELP!!!!!  I was just one hour late to my first appointment of the day thanks to iCal and it's syncing to my iPhone.

OK, I did this. Then I closed iCal, then I reopened it.  All my appts remain one hour late.  Perhaps this will prevent this from happening during the next daylight change, I guess I will find out.  "Time Zone support" to me implies that the time should be corrected if the computer moves to a new time zone.....
Irregarless.  I've still got hundreds of appts showing an hour late, and as I enter more and more each day, it will become more and more confusing as to which ones are set to the correct time, and which ones are one hour late.  How can I get all my appoints to show the correct time?????
    HELP!

  • Events moved one hour forward in the Iphone calendar

    Hi,
    I have Iphone 3gs, 3.1.3.
    Windows 7 and Office 2007.
In both of them I have marked the V on change the clock automatecly
The time in the Iphone and my PC are the same time.
I think that since I moved the clock I have this problem.
    1. All the events in the Iphone calendar moved one hour forward.
For example event that starts at 9 in the outlook will start at 10 at the Iphone.
    2. All the events for full day in the iphone are one day backward.
For example event that is in all munday in the outlook, is in all sunday.
I tried to delete the event are sync.
I tried to force rewrite all the calendar information in the next sync
I tried to unmark the V in the automatecly clock change.
    Can someone helps me?
    Thanks
    Elad

Under the setting app in on the iPhone, go to the mail, contacts and calendar heading. At the very bottom of the calendar settings, do you have time zone support turned on?

  • ICal events are incorrect by one hour

I am using the Google Calendar and have an issue with the transfer of data from IPhone 3Gs to my IMac. If I place an event time on the Iphone calendar, this event gets transferred incorrectly to the IMac by one hour earlier. My IPad calendar transfers the timed event correctly to the IMac, but incorrectly to the IPhone. When going from IPad to IPhone the time on the IPhone is one hour later than it should be. The net result is a very confusing Calendar.

Today I created (3) All Day Events on my iPhone 4S to represent upcoming vacation days for Nov 21, 22, and 23. After sync, Outlook shows correct All-day events for 21 and 22. The All-day event for 23 is missing and displayed on Nov 24. This is a direct sync (wireless) and no Exchange server is involved. Any ideas? I see similar posts that go back to last year and iOS4. I would at least like to know if Apple is aware of this, or is it just my phone.

  • It says iCal will default events with no end time to one hour..and mine used to..but since I upgraded to Lion it doesn't.  Any suggestions as to how I can get it to default events to one hour?

My iCal used to default to one hour when I posted an event with a start time and no end time.  The user guide says it will default to one hour.  Since I started using OS Lion, my calendar doesn't do that.  Can anyone suggest a way for me to get the calendar to default to one hour again?  Thanks.

    Dana,
Here are some iCal data entry tips from iCal Help:
Enter a name, date, and time duration for the event, and then press Return.
For example, you can enter “Super Bowl Party Feb 5,” “Movie with Rebecca on Friday at 7pm,” “Soccer Game on Saturday from 11am-1pm,” or “Breakfast with Jon,” and then press Return.
If you don’t enter a time duration for the event, iCal sets the event’s duration to 1 hour.
If you don’t enter any time information for the event, iCal makes the event an all-day event.
If you enter “breakfast” or “morning,” iCal sets the event to start at 9 a.m.
If you enter “lunch “ or “noon,” iCal sets the event to start at 12 p.m.
If you enter “dinner” or “night,” iCal sets the event to start at 8 p.m.

  • Since loading mavericks my calendar posts events one hour late.  That is, if mtg invite is for 9am it posts at 10am.  my pc clock and time zone are correct.

    Hey Armando Stettner,
Thanks for the question, and what a great question it is!
With time zone support on, you can edit an individual event and change the time zone for that event. This list will include options for your default time zones, UTC, and "floating" - the latter of which is what you are looking for. Floating changes the event to occur at the specified time, local time.
For information on changing an event's time zone, see the following resource:
Calendar: Change an event’s time zone
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11531
I look forward to hearing how this works for you.
    Cheers!
    Matt M.

  • Imported Events, All One Hour Off :-(

Just exported over 1000 events from our athletic games from Excel to Palm, so that I could save as vcal files.
All the times were correct in Excel and Palm, but after importing to iCal ALL the imported events (1000+) were now one hour earlier.
My iCal preferences did have "Time Zone Support" on.
    Weird...any help would be appreciated

    1) Make sure your BlackBerry is actually set for the correct time and time zone.
    2) make sure your PC (where your email client runs) is set to the correct time and time zone.
    3) Go ahead and install the DST patch on your BlackBerry. If its not needed it wont be applied.

  • Workflow sending 20 email notifications every one hour for the same event

    Hi Experts,
We had an issue on a clientu2019s prod system that the workflow triggered the same event 20 times in one hour. Later, a client has resolved the issue by removing the information from the workflow administration and reentering it back again. The workflow administration contains email settings, web settings, workflow roles, and active workflow maintenance. Although, the issue has been resolved but a client still needs to know how that happened. I would like to get some helpful opinions on how this happened because I am very new to the workflow. I would really appreciate your opinions.
    Thank you
    Don P.

    Hi Sue,
Thank you for your response. I am not sure if the event has been triggered erroneously. The client told us that it didn't happen in the dev system when he tested it, but it only happen in the prod system. This project went live a little bit over a year ago without any issues, but it just happened the first on 6/22.
The event is about to notify the user to review a new incident report (EHS), and it's same event id for all 20 email notifications. We will a client to look into their system about how this event raised?, what does the event log reveal? and if he uses the event queue. Again, thanks for your response.
