One hour of Work is Lost

I am knowledgeable in Web design - however pretty new to iWeb. I had a WebSite that I was working on in iWeb 06. Then I upgraded to iWeb 08.
- I did one hours worth of upgrades and saved the file (but chose to not publish at this time)
- then I quit iWeb 08
- then a few minutes later, I reloaded iWeb 08 (and the file) and my changes were gone - back to the previous version... ( the domain file did show modified date of just a few minutes before)
- one of the things I had done - was to change the theme of several pages - then recreated the content...
Q: Where's my updated work? is there a way to get it back?

BTW: on the left side - the little icon next to the page names: some of the icons look like pages with the top right edge turned down and some of them are darker and thicker and do not have the turn down edge. these in the ones that do not seem to retain my theme changes and content changes....
Q: What is the difference between these two types of pages? How can I fix them so they retain my changes?

I have a problem with my macbook pro mid 2009. After one hour of working the beach ball starts spinning and you cannot work anylonger.
You have to force shut down the macbook pro and restart it. The same problem appears once I wanna do a back-up on my time capsule, but then I receive at least a report after restart:

I just found the problem. I just have to update the firmware of my SSD:
Crucial M4 and RealSSD C400 SSDs 5184 hours power-on time BSOD issue
Crucial M4 and RealSSD C400 SSDs with firmware earlier than 70H / 07M could become unresponsive after 5184 hours of Power-on time. The drive will recover after a power cycle, however, this failure will repeat once per hour after reaching this point. Update firmware to version 70H / 07M or later.
My SSD has now 5690hours...

I lost one of my "work area" markers

Hello,
I somehow lost one of my work area markers. How do I get it back onto the timeline ?
On this subject, I always find it awkward when I try to drag the left marker to the left side of my work area footage on the timeline, is there not an easier way to do this, than grabbing at it with the mouse ?
I will first define my "in" and "out" points on the timeline.
Then I drag the 2 markers to define that area, and they will snap nicely to where I have put the "in" and "Out" markers, however grabbing that left "work area" marker just isn't easy to do, and now, one of them is missing.
I'm sure the missing marker is there, I just can't find it.

Thank you for the information. I looked into the keyboard shortcuts, and that did the trick ! , the elusive left marker has re-appeared. I wonder where it was, perhaps somewhere on the timeline where I didn't see it.
I think I shall start using more of the keyboard shortcuts, some of these look like they can save a lot of time.

Home sharing stops working with Apple TV after about one hour.. Apple TV drops my MAC and says Home Sharing not available.

Apple TV works perfect for about one hour then all of a sudden stops and says home sharing is turned off.. but it's not. Double checked iTunes on the MAC, home sharing still set up no issues. I restart iTunes.. does not help, reboot MAC does not help. Reset Apple TV doesn't help.
About an hour later, home sharing shows up in Apple TV again..
Anyone else experience this? Any thoughts as to why Home Sharing on the Apple TV stops by itself when no changes are occuring?

Chapters and Play all - how do I get this to work with a one hour project?

I have a one hour project and at the moment I have it in one track with a Main Menu, Chapter menu and a bridge menu for the loop point.
I have 5 chapters and want 2 functions to happen in my DVD structure:-
1. the Play All function
2. and the Chapters to play each individual chapter and then go back to the Chapter menu when it;s finished.
As my project is now, the play all feature won't work, it is like it's the CHapter menu.
In the past I've had a track for the play all and then separate tracks for each chapter. Is there a way around this - do I have to do that fancy encoding (which I have no idea how to set up.
I have 5 chapters and would love some help to construct this as I don't think the 2 hours would fit on my single layer DVD and it would be a lot more exporting work.

You may want to use scenarios in this situation.
click the "add a scenario" button, an add as many scenarios as you have chapters.
Then double click on each scenario option.
You will see a list of chapter appear on the left of your timeline area.
Drag the chapter you want to play solo to the empty list on the right ("scenario markers").
Make sure you then select that chapter marker in the scenario Marker list, and choose "end jump: main menu". Also make sure that your gobal scenario end jump is set to your main menu too.
Then link you buton to that scenario and repeat for the other chapters.

Since I have updated to OSx Mavericks all my ics. invitations from other people are put in my agenda one hour later. Although my time-settings are correct. All worked perfectly unit Osx Mavericks.

Before OSX Mavericks everything worked perfectly.
Invitations were automatically put in my agenda on the Mac on the right hour.
This agenda synced then trough Icloud with my Iphone and Ipad.
Now he puts al the invitations one hour later in my Agenda on the Mac.
I have checked all my time settings and they are correct.
I can not solve the problem.

That's going to be a ridiculous waste of money and energy.
First of all, the current ATI drivers don't support multiple GPUs, so at the moment even a single 4870X2 would be only a 'normal' 4870 (which is quite a speed beast already). GFX drivers evolve rapidly, so things might look different next month, but when it comes to Linux and hardware there's one Golden Rule: stay away from the newest stuff and wait for proper support to get coded.
I also wonder what power supply could possibly cope with the differences between idle and full load; that's way beyond 400W. But then, I'm one of those "quiet&green" types where >100W idle is already a bit much.
I kind of understand that you want to get it done and not worry about hardware for the next 10 years or so, but that's simply not how the hardware world works and never did. At least not for the average consumer.

I"m afraid not. The iPad will be displaying only part of the ID, and Apple will not help you to find the owner's address (privacy laws). Without being able to reach the previous owner you will not be able to use the iPad.

Muse crashed, site on Biz Catalyst good, Muse file lost hours of work

The new version of Muse crashed and took the last 6 hours of work with it. The file is stored locally. The version that it live on business catalyst is right, but Muse doesn't have any of it in the Muse file. Is there any way to recover it?

There's only a few things that could be my passcode, but because it disables for an hour, it is time consuming trying to figure it out. What do I do? I do not care about having to erase everything since it's new and there's nothing on it, but it was never synced with iTunes.

Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

Is there a way to know how many hours of work did a project demanded (even if it was on multiple days, sessions or cross-working other projects)?

There is no feature for that in Premiere Pro. I suggest that you keep a project log either in a spreadsheet, database, Notepad or Wordpad file, or a hand written one.
