One LapTop One iTunes & Two iPhone & Two Apple ID
1.
I like to start from the begining. Empty iPhones & empty iTunes. Reset all.
How do I restet all My iPhones and iTunes. And make empty even My iTunes account?
2.
I like to have two tottaly different iPhone set-up. Different applications and
different music, and different contacts. (I have two account!)
Info:
1 ID: ChristianPaprika (iPhone purcased in Amsterdam, The Netherlands use with
Apple Gift Card) iPhone name: ChristianPaprika
2 ID: PaprikaChristian (iPhone purcased in Budapest, Hungary use with credit card) iPhone name: PaprikaChristian

Ejects the harddrive?
Of what did your old Mac die?
It sounds to me like you have some file corruption somewhere.  Either in the transfer of your library to the external or the external itself is flaky if it keeps ejecting.

  • Two iPhones two separate calendars?

I use my iPhone for work and play, wifey uses her for play only.
I have a lot of calendar entries via Exchange (work) and she (as a result of us sharing a single account via iTunes) gets all the updates etc that I get as a result.
Does anyone know how I can prevent this - ie two iPhones, two iCal calendars?

When she syncs her phone to (presumably?) your itunes, she needs to UNCHECK the calendar sync in the info pane or else she will continue to get your events.

  • Two iPhones, two iTunes accounts, one PC

Hi. Is it possible to update/back-up two iphones using one PC? We have two iPhones, each with a seperate iTunes accounts, but would like to update the iPhones software using iTunes on one PC.
This has come about because we can't seem to update the software for one of the iPhones using the laptop we normally use for the one iPhone. We've tried everything, but we keep getting an error (no. 9006). I have spoken to Apple, and they say it is my anti-virus software blocking the update. However, I have completely uninstalled the anti-virus software (AVG) and tried the update again. This didn't work either.

Creating a second account in windows would be the easiest way to separate your accounts on one PC.

  • HT201317 Two iPhones-separate Apple IDs & Photo Stream to one Mac Book Pro

My wife and I have two iPhones with separate Apple IDs and would like to have the photos we take on the iPhone sent to our Mac Book Pro via Photo Stream. Is that possible with just one user account set up on the Mac Book Pro?

    Hey ekrebs66,
Thanks for the question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It is possible to play music from iTunes on multiple speakers, which can include AirPlay to multiple Apple TVs. At this time, the multiple speakers option is compatible with music playback only. For more information, see this article:

  • Two iPhones, two contracts, both ring when one is called after upgrade to iOS8

I have two iPhones 5s, one private, one for business. They have different numbers and use different carriers/service providers.
They use both the same Apple ID for any iTunes store, Apple store or iCloud purposes.
I've upgraded them both to iOS 8.
When now someone is calling me, using either the private or the business number BOTH iPhones ring. This hasn't happened before and it's rather annoying and bad.
Is there a way to stop this behaviour?

This is a new feature to allow sharing of a cellular connection.  To disable it, either use separate iCloud IDs for the phones, or turn it off in Settings/ FaceTime/ iPhone Cellular Calls/ OFF.

  • Two iPhones, same Apple ID

My husband and I just purchased two iPhone 5.  We are using the same Apple ID, but contacts and apps are popping up on one device when it was originally downloaded on the other.  Is there any way to stop this from happening?

You have to either stop syncing your contacts with iCloud or migrate one of the two phones to a separate iCloud account with a different ID.  (You can continue to share the same ID for iTunes; it doesn't need to be the same as the ID you use for iCloud.)
To migrate to a new account, first decide which phone will be moving.  On this phone, if you have any photos in photo stream that you want to keep on the phone, save these to your camera roll by opening the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tapping Edit, then tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share and tap Save to Camera Roll.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.  (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud.  The phone that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.)  When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPhone.  Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom).  Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge.  This will upload the data to the new account.
Finally, you will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the data you don't want from each account (such as deleting your husband's contacts from your account, and vice versa).

  • Two iPhones, two laptops

I've two iPhones, work and personal, and two laptops, work and personal.  I'd like to have "one version of the truth", i.e. one calendar, one list of contacts.  If I add a contact/event on one phone or laptop, all four devices have the same infomation.  Is this possible, and if so, how do I do it?
    Lenpan

This can be done if you have Outlook 2007 or later on your computers by syncing all 4 devices with the same iCloud account.  On you two phones, go to Settings>iCloud.com and sign into the same account with the same ID and turn syncing for Contacts, Calendars, etc. to On (if prompted, choose Merge).  This setup is described herehttp://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/ios.html.
Then on your computers download and install the iCloud control panel for Windows and sign into the same iCloud account and check iCloud syncing for Mail, Contacts, Calendars & Tasks with Outlook ( and any other data you want to sync with iCloud) as described here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html.

  • I have two iPhones, 1 Apple ID can I have IMessage working from both different numbers? If so how?

I have two iPhones and need to use both with different numbers. I have one Apple ID, can I use iMessage on both phones with the different numbers? If so how

I have two apple phones too. One for work and my personal. When setting up your apple ID on the second phone under Messages settings -> Send & Receive -> you can select the other phone that has your apple ID. I haven't done it, bc need two separate phones. But i believe that sould work. Same on your Messages on you mac. But remember iMessages only works with Apple products. All your other buddies that don't have apple you won't get their sms, on the primary phone you want to use. Hope this helps

All of this just so I can update my **** software version on my 5th iPhone.
Please help if there is anyone outhere....

I have a laptop that itunes will open but never accesses the store.
Doublechecking ... it just keeps saying "Accessing iTunes Store"? Or is something different going on?

  • Two iPhones, two accounts?

How does the setup work with two iPhone families with only one computer? Is iTunes smart enough to only sync an iPhone with the correct account even it is connected and the accounts are switched? Or will it try to sync any iPhone to any account that happens to be open? It does this with iPods and it is really annoying, but it could be disastrous with iPhones. I don't want my wife's email accounts/contacts/music suddenly replacing mine on my iPhone just because she doesn't remove the phone before switching accounts.
    Kurt

During the installation, it will ask you if you are activating more than one iPhone---if you are choosing a family plan from AT&T. [You are not choosing individual plans for each phone right?]
So after the first phone is activated, you plug in the second iPhone and then go thru the same process. [Adding a second line to the AT&T family plan]
Once the second phone is activated, you can choose not to sync your mail, music, photos etc. on the second iPhone
That is, your iPhone will act just like an iPod--have your family member log in to their Mac OS X account on the Mac and then sync their own music and stuff onto the iPhone.

  • Two iPhones, two google accounts won't sync to both

I have two iPhones, my wifes and mine
I have two google mail accounts, my wifes and mine.
When I set it all up all appears okay.
However, iTunes only seems to hold the last Google Contacts login details, therefore when I sync the phones they hold the same Google Contacts.
    Anyone help me out here?

iphone will sync itunes content and pics with one and only one computer at a time.  If you sync to another, then it will erase the current content from the iphone and repalce with content from the new computer.
This has always been the design of the iphone.

  • While ripping DVDs to my computer for playback in itunes, ipod, iphone, and apple tv, is there any way to rip a single copy that is supported by the previous devices?

My current problem is that when I rip a DVD to an iphone/ipod touch format with my ripping software, I have to convert the file to one supported by apple tv when I want to play the movie in apple tv.  To clarify, I wish to rip the DVD once, with no file conversion in itunes, for playback and transfer to iphone/ipod touch and apple tv.  I assume there is way to this by altering the ripping settings, perhaps trying 600-900 kps per second.  I hope that there is a way to rip a DVD that can be played in the iphone and apple tv.  Thanks in advance!

    No. Have you tried:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

  • We have three Ipads in our house.  We have one itunes account with multiple devices like two Iphones and Apple TV.   My question is about our three Ipads.   How can I set up the imessaging and facetime on all three devices while only using one Itunes acct

Okay.  We have three Ipads in our house with only one Itunes account.   When I go into imessaging and facetime on each of the devices, it wants to start switching my wife's cell phone and then the three emails associated with each Ipad to the contact information for all of the Ipads.    As of this morning, only the imessaging and facetime are turned on my wife's iphone and ipad.   My kids imessaging and facetime is turned off.     Do you really have to have an itunes account for each device to make then work???    Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Ryan

There is only one solution. Each user must have their own separate user account. All of their respective data would be contained in their separate user accounts. This also means each will have a separate iTunes Library. If you all use the same third-party apps, then each will have to purchase their own copies under their own Apple IDs. Some data sharing is possible. See:
iTunes- How to open an alternate iTunes Library file or create a new one

iTunes- How to share music between different accounts on a single computer

  • Sync overlap with two Iphones, two ITunes accounts, one computer

How do my wife and I stop getting each other's contacts, calendars and downloaded apps when we sync our Iphones? We have two different ITunes accounts. She logged herself out of her account and then I logged myself into my account, I deleted one of the apps (her downloaded App that synched onto my Iphone) under the App Tab. I logged out of my account then logged into her account - I opened up the App Tab in her account and found the app I had deleted from my account was deleted from her account also...What is going on here? I thought these were two separate accounts? How can I make them separate?
Would be very grateful for assistance in sorting this out.

Sorry for being unclear, when I said "new user account" I meant a new user account on your computer, not a new iTunes account, for example a new Windows user. As a new user you'll get a new, empty iTunes library. And your device will be erased during the first sync.
Apps can only be used with the account you bought them, so you can't share them or use them with a different iTunes account.
To copy your apps and data to the new iTunes before syncing, back up manually, here's how to:
Set up your iTunes account, disable autosync in itunes, connect your phone, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.
This will save data, pictures taken with the phone and settings to itunes. See what's included in this backup here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your phone got wiped during the first sync.
The rest of the data can be restored from the backup you made.
