One license on different computers?

I have one Photoshop CS6 license. I have installed it on my Imac. When trying to install it on my MacBook i get a message saying "Invalid license number. Does this mean i must by one license for each computer?

No. 2 activations, 2 computers. As to why it doesn't work is anyone's guess, since you did not provide enough info. Perhaps you simply have the PS CS6 public Beta on the system still or something else is getting in the way...

Adobe CC or any perpetual previous version allows you to install & activate it two times (on the same computer or other different one).
As per End user license agreement, only one computer can be used at one given time.

License Sharing - Non-concurrently - One License on Two Computers

Here's my situation..
I do some contracting work for an office on Capitol Hill. I have to work onsite due to security protocols, and because this office has limited resources, they have only been able to purchase two Adobe Web suites.
They installed them on two computers that are used by staffers.
The problem is that I have to schedule my time around whenever one of their staffers is not at their computer, so I could use their Dreamweaver and do the coding that they need done for them.
My question is this...
They have available intern computers that are not as used as frequently. Does Adobe licensing permit non-current use on their computers? That is, could I install a copy and use it on one of these computers without violating licensing agreements, so long as one of the staffers is not using the software when I am?

copy the entire iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music or media folder) to a portable HD such as this.

on either machine, launch iTunes while holding shift, click on choose library when prompted, and select the iTunes folder on the external HD.

One ipod two different computers...

I have had my ipod classic for about 2 years now and I recently got a new lap top. All of my music and videos are on my desktop computer. I downloaded itunes to my lap top but when I plug in my ipod the itunes doesnt have any music in it. How do i get the music from my desktop computer,which is also on my ipod, to my lap top?

One iphone Two Different Computers

I just bought the iphone and have a PC with my outlook contacts and my power book G4 for my music. I connected the iphone to the PC when I first openend it up, loaded the outlook contacts, activated the iphone and went throught the whole process. Then, later I connected the phone to my power book and tried to load my music and I can not get itunes on my power book to see my iphone? Any suggestions I would be grateful!!!

I would first say ensure you have the latest iTunes on your Powerbook.
But also note, you can only sync to 1 PC (just like with an iPOD). If you go to sync to another PC, it will remove all previous data from other sync first. You have to pick one to use.
If all your contacts are just on one, either network and map the drive/share of the other to get access to music or bring contact info over to other.

How do multiple users on different computers work on an Indesign file?

Do we work on it on the Cloud and only one license is needed for same project? Do we need multiple licenses for different computers working on the same file? If I buy Indesign, will I be the only person who can access the software from my computer?

If you buy the perpeptual license then it would be OS specific , in that case you would have to buy 2 seperate license however If you go for the Creative Cloud then in that case it would be OS independent , you can install with creative cloud on 2 Windows or 2 Mac or 1 windows and 1 Mac.
Also , with each license you get 2 activation hence 2 can use the software on 2 machine but not at the same time.

I have a sole i-pod and two pc's, used the instructions for "iTunes for Windows: Moving your iTunes Media folder" in the hope that I could synch my one i-pod between two different computers that are sharing the same library. Is it possible to have two seperate computers that only share an external hard drive (one wireless, one not) ? When I am looking at a shared library should it appear the same on both machines (ie: playlists/ purchased list etc)?

If it is moved correctly, playlists will display on both computers and it should be possible.
Close iTunes.
Hold <SHIFT> and launch iTunes.
When prompted to create a new or open an existing iTunes library point iTunes to the iTunesLibrary.itl file on the external drive.
The entire library should now show up with all playlists and playcounts.
Do this on both computers.
Keep in mind that only one computer can access iTunes at a time, otherwise errors will occur when each computer attempts to write to or update the iTunesLibrary.itl file.
Syncing may work seemlessly with both computers, but honestly syncing is designed to work with one and only one computer.

Copy the content from one computer to another and import the media into iTunes.
Any playlists, playcounts, etc on the computer the content is being moved from will be lost.

I cannot for the life of me figure this out.

What you need to do is connect your phone to iTunes but do not click sync. Go to File at the top and click transfer purchases from phone, that'll put all your apps into iTunes. When it's done transferring, locate your phone on the sidebar and click it. Then find the apps option above the picture of your iphone, you can select which apps you want or don't want on your phone. After selecting your apps then you can sync. Once you do this you should never have your problem anymore.
