    I have Office 2013 and Windows 8.1. The problem is, that even if I change the default printer to my laser printer, it changes to Sned to One note printer. Should I disable the send to one note printer or how can I keep my default printer unchanged?

  • HP C6180 All in One Not Printing on the Network

    I have 3 wireless laptops and an HP C6180 on a wireless network. This week all 3 computers had issues intermittently trying to print. The print job would go to the que, but then it would just be an error and not print. Now today, none of the laptops have been able to print. I tried to connect to the wireless network with the printer an it did find the wifi sometimes and did not other times. (Oh, and it's not about it being too far away, they were right next to eachother). I actually plugged an ethernet cord into it and it did the same thing. So, I assume there may be an issue with the wireless, but I can't print when is wired with an ethernet cable either. I am completely stumped. Been working on this issue for about 5 hours now, and figured I would just post it here. If anyone has any idea what this could be, please let me know.  Also, 2 computers are Vista, 1 is XP. No changes have been made to any of them lately.

    If you can connect with an Ethernet cable, do so and turn off the wireless function of your printer.  Only have one connection method live at any one time or things will get very confusing.
    OK, once you choose your connection method, it will be best if you can set a static IP address for the printer (outside the DHCP range).

  • HP 1610 All In One not printing blue

    I lent a friend my 1610 All In One when his printer died, he bought new cartridges and it worked well.  The next day however blue does not print. He uses an older Mac before we run out to buy a new cartridge i wanted to get any suggestions you may have.  I did not have this problem when i was using the printer

    My HP Photosmart 6520 all in one printer will not print anything in black and it has a brand new cartrige in it. I have tried restarting the printer, and the computer and it is not helping. Please help.

  • 7210 all in one, not printing properly

    When printing it only prints half of the text (as you see now, but the bottom half of the words missing) i called an engineer out of the yellow pages and he said that there was a design fault with this all in one printer.  Something to do with the pin in the print cartgidge area.  He also said that this particular model of printer was recalled.  Can you help?

    Open the above web link to an web document, follow the steps in the  web document and print an self diagnostic page, then let us know the result how it printed or if the page is also missing the bottom text and then ink levels of the cartridges.
    If the diagonistic page is not printed fine then the issue is with the hardware of the All-in-One printer.

  • 7510 e-ALL-IN-ONE not printing black ink.

    I have a Photosmart 7510 e-ALL-IN-ONE printer that has worked beautifully until the last time I replaced the black ink.  The printer screen says the ink cartridge is full, yet nothing will print.  I checked the vent on the cartridge, it seems to be fine.  I performed the clean cartridge procedure, but still nothing. This has been a great printer; what do I do?

    I would suggest the troubleshooting steps in the document here to address black not printing on your Photosmart 7510.  If the first four solutions listed to not resolve the issue the post here may help.

  • 5512 all in one not printing black ink

    My Photosmart 5512 isn't printing black ink. It also won't align which is odd.  It doesn't "see" the alignment page when I try to scan it.   I have done all the things that the HP troubleshoot site said (test pages, cleaning printheads, quality report pages, aligning printheads) and still no luck.  It is also out of warranty.  Any and all help would be appreciated!     I see you are unable to print black from your Photosmart 5512, I'd like to help. Please complete all of the steps in the following document; Printer Does Not Print Black Ink or Color Ink, or Prints Blank Pages.
    Although I hope this resolves the issue, it might not. If the issue persists, please post back with your warranty status. Use the following link to check your warranty.

  • 8600 all in one not printing wireless

    My 8600 printer is not printing wireless.  We moved and it was set up with the new router and it printed once.  It has not printed since.  I have turned it off and back on.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled.  I did scan doctor and it told me to uninstall and reinstall.  I can look at the info online after typing in the IP address and it all looked ok.  I still cannot print.  Please help!  I am not very computer savy.  I cannot print e-mails, from a web site, or word.  Thanks!

    I understand you're experiencing wireless connectivity issues.  I would love to try and help you, but I do need a little information first. I am linking a few HP Support documents below that will show you how to find which operating system you are using. Also, if you're using Windows, please include whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit.

    Which Windows operating system am I running?
    Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
    I would also recommend this document on Wireless printing center Troubleshooting Issues.

  • Officejet J5750 All in One Not Printing

    The printer has now stopped all together, just flashes lights. Tried the printer tool box. Printed a beautiful diagnostic page, but got the stoppage and flashing lights on the test page. Turned off and on and got a replace cartridge message. Did that. Got the allignment message. Will not allign, goes to flashing lights. Off and on will not clear it because everytime it comes back on it tries to allign and it won't.

    The document here may help resolve black not printing on your Officejet 4620. Be sure to check the vents, if they are blocked the printer will appear to be running out of ink early in the cartridge life.
    If the troubleshooting steps there do not resolve the issue I sould suggest you contact HP, 1-800-HPINVENt if you are in the US or see the document here for elsewhere.  They may be able to help resolve the issue even if the printer is not in warranty as described in this post.

    have replaced black & cyan cartridges but still get printer message saying Out of Ink. Have restarted printer and computer, downloaded printer driver, unplugged and reconnected.  Control Panel shows cartridges all have ink, but still get Out of Ink in Print menu.

    I would like to help you with this. I suggest removing the cartridges and reinstalling them, if an alignment does not begin automatically, I recommend performing an alignment manually. Please follow the instructions below.
    Remove the cartridges.
    If the alignment page does not print, press the Setup button ( ) on the front screen of the printer
    Press the Down Arrow button ( ) to select Tools, and then press OK.
    Press the Down Arrow button ( ) to select Align Printer, and then press OK. The product prints an alignment page, aligns the printhead, and then calibrates the product.
    After the success or failure message appears on the control panel display, press OK to continue.
    If the issue persists, clean the printheads
    Open the HP Solution Center, click on settings
    Under Print Settings , click Printer Toolbox . The Printer Toolbox opens in a new window.
    Click the Device Services tab.
    Click Clean the Printhead.

  • Officejet 4620 All in one Not printing even with new cartridge

    My printer has suddenly stopped printing.
    There are no error messages.
    My ink level is full.
    It slowly started "running" out of ink as I was printing.
    New cartridge.
    Cleaned printer heads twice.
    Ran print quality report and it acted like it was printing but didn't.
    Any ideas??

  • HP Photosmart e-all-in-one NOT PRINTING for MAC 10.9.2

    Hi,
    I have a HP Photosmart e-all-in-one wireless that I have been using for my Apple devices (Mac, iphone, ipad) for years and recently it started giving me problems. 
    First month or so ago, out of nothing the MacBookPro would not see the printer connected, in dispite of been connected to the network. During that time I was able to find it connected from my iphone & ipad. Then I was using to print from these last two.
    Now, not even from my iphone & ipad. It seems that printer does not exist at all, coz it always says "printer not connected" on the MacBook and "No AirPrint Printers Found" on the ipad & iphone. 
    I've noticed that on HP website, the most updated version of the Mac is 10.9 and my devices has 10.9.2 Is this the problem? If so, how can I get by and continue to use the printer? I need to print ASAP.

  • HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One not printing true colours

    The HP help people have finally given up on trying to make my Mac see the Color Options tab in their print software with my set-up. They now say, "It's an Apple problem". If I could see these settings I'd be able to adjust the HP defaults for print-outs (by saturation, brightness, density, hue, contrast, etc) once and for all so I'd get closer to what I see on screen printed out in front of me. Without them I have to change everything on a trial and error basis each time in Photoshop. I've read about it in the HP manual and seen it work on another (cheaper) HP printer on a similar Intel iMac but with the All-in-One I just get the screen saying "No User Selectable Settings" - which HP say should not be the case. Anyone have any ideas? This screen seems to be vital - unless of course there's a better way of synchronising the perfect image I see on screen with what I get out of this printer?

    I have seen this case with hp printers on the intel macs as went the intel macs came out hp's driver release was set for June as that is when the intel macs were suppose to be released i know the new software version 7.9 which is universal fixes all of these issues on the intel based macs.
    Just make sure you run the hp uninstaller first HD/Applications/Hewlett Packard

  • Deskjet 3056A E-all-in-one not printing black ink properly

    Hello, I've had my Deskjet 3056A E-all-in-one printer for 2 years and didn't have any problems until about 3 months ago. My black ink cartridge suddenly stopped printing properly. It started to seem like I needed to replace the ink, so I did, but that did not fix the problem. It still seems like the ink level is really, really low sometimes, but it's a brand new cartridge. I couldn't even align the printhead because the black ink wouldn't print. Then I cleaned the printhead and cleaned the ink smear. When the test papers printed after the cleanings the black ink would only print half of the line of letters or numbers, or it was just choppy and faded. I checked the ink levels and it says both of my ink cartridges are almost full still. I was thinking about replacing the cartridge again, but I don't want to waste the money if it won't fix the problem. The color cartridge works completely fine, just to clarify.
