One of my children has given my password to a "friend" who in turn has logged in an taken ownership of my account. How can I get it back???
My account has been hacked and I have lost control over it. UNFORTUNATELY I am not able to get help without having my login information. The birth dates on my account have been changed along with the email associated with my account. So when I request a password reset it goes to someone else's email. The Yahoo account in the title of my ID is still active, although used mostly by my son. I have grave concerns with my personal information that is associated with my account and what is happening with someone else seeing it.
You did run ''Thunderbird'' in its safe mode (as opposed to Windows or even Firefox)?
I too would suspect a theme. And Thunderbird's Safe Mode disables all such add-ons.

You are going to need to change the email address you use with your old ID. Once you have got access to your old account you will then log into both accounts at the same time on your Mac and transfer your data to a single account. We can do this later, but need you to get access to your old account first.

What do you mean it has gone gray? Were you trying to update the app and it stalled on you?
Do you backup with iCloud or iTunes on your computer? If you have all of the files backed up then you should be able to delete the app and reinstall it - if needed. -

My current project in the Events Library has gone into list mode. ie a single clip on the left one above another, so showing only about 7 clips. How can I get it back into normal horizontal mode?

How do You want it to look ?
a. You can change places by using this
b. May be You changed this top right symbol of an hard disk ?
c. or changed the number of frames to be viewed ?
d. OR - it can (at least for me) be so that You think of how it looks in iPhoto. (To me a very common mistake)

This can happen when you both share the same Apple ID for iMessage. You can continue to share the same ID for purchasing from the iTunes and App stores, but you should use separate IDs for iMessage and FaceTime.
To fix this, on one of the phones, to go Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a separate ID. Then do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime. -

You need to talk to clash of clans first. The game should have a support link.
If they can't/won't help you then you turn to iTunes support.

I just updated my 3GS to 5.0 and most of my apps and contacts disappeared. THis has never happened before through many updates. How can I get it back to where it was?
I did a restore from backup but that did not change anything.
I can see my apps in iTunes - it is like the update got some apps but not all, no contacts.
Total waste of my Friday.

Yeah there's no setting for that. So either you don't have an iPhone, or your iPhone is jail broken. If it's jail broken, just restore to factory and all will be fixed :)

My Firefox menu button has disappeared. Why? How can I get it back? Without it I don't know how to get to my FTP. I never did anything to make this happen.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.
