One of my email accounts appears twice in the Folders pane. No idea why.

I have several accounts in Thunderbird. One of them appears twice - I know it's an exact copy becasue if I rename one folder, both accounts have the new name. The other accounts show only once. Mystified.

@christ1 Yes, using the same logic windows limit is something like 16 extbytes. Reality is 4Gb pulls it up.
There has been recent work on the messageid that will be in the next release, might even have made it into a recent security and stability release. But until that happens Thunderbird has 4Gb limited messageid numbers. I am still not convinced a non IMAP folder can be successful in the 4Gb plus range. Only time will convince me all the ugly realities have been fixed.

All I need is ONE INBOX (like Windows Mail used to do) ...
I can see in the 'Account' column of each message which email account it's using.
Then, I either junk or read the message, followed by delete or file to one of my created folders.
As it is, half my page is depth is taken up by 12 lines of Account names !!!

That still leaves SIX lines of Account names down the side. All I want is ONE INBOX ... (I can see which account each message belongs to in the 'Account' column...)

How do you set up a Yahoo eMail account with all of the folders on an iPad 1st generation?

I setup my account using the Mail settings. I can retrieve my eMail, but I don't have any of the folders that I have on Yahoo. Also, when I delete an eMail it does not delete on the server (they reappear when I check mail again).

Correct.
Since email account mailboxes and messages are not included with the iPhone's backup, restoring an iPhone with iTunes if wanted or needed will result in any user created mailboxes and the messages being lost in the process. Just as messages in a POP account's Sent mailbox are lost when restoring an iPhone with iTunes.
No such concern with server stored mailboxes with an Exchange or IMAP account.
A POP account is from the early dark ages of email account access with an email client on a computer when the overwhelming majority had access to a single computer only - before there were laptops and long before there were smart phones.

Do you have the removed account forwarded to your other account at the server?
If the account is not still in Thunderbird there is no way for it to check mail on that account. Even if it did it would not place the messages in a different Inbox.
Just to be sure when you go to Tools-Account Settings is the old account still in the list?
Use Tools on the menu bar and not the AppMenu button.

TS3899 cannot send email from one of my email accounts on my iPad

I am able to receive email on one of my email accounts on my iPad but I cannot send email from that account. I've obviously missed a step in the set up process but do not know what that step might be. Can anyone help? Thanks

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Hi Xperts,
We have a report in that particular report we can see the Balances of TOTAL COST OF SALES,Total wages & salaries,Total other staff costs,Total designing & merchantiging, Total selling, Total Depriciation,Total Distribution & TOTAL SUNDRY & GENERAL .
It is a customised report.
I am new to reports.
In the above report one GL account is appearing twice (The acct name SMALL DIFFERENCES ACCT) in the section of TOTAL COST OF SALES & TOTAL SUNDRY & GENERAL
Why it is appearing twice?

You have not mention that which report like Z report or standard one.
However, if it is Z report, the GL may be grouped twice in the report. and ask your ABAP team to find from where it is getting value. So that, it is easy to track why it is appearing twice in the report.
If it is standard report, check your FSV for the correct grouping.

ICloud Account appears twice in Calendar & Notes

A few of my iCloud Accounts appears twice in Calendar & Notes but when I go to system preferences I see them only once.
So, in both applications I see all duplicated — I can deselect a calendar in iCal but it's more annoying in Notes where you can't click what you want to see.
When I want to go and delete the duplicate account from the main preferences I only see each account once.
Crazy, huh?

On the iCloud website I see everything alright, one of each, no duplicates.
On my Mac:
- Notes, no notes at all...
- iCal: no duplicates, but I see a few calendars twice. When I click Preferences - Accounts, I see no duplicate accounts!
- Address Book is a mess, some contacts appear like seven times, I looked for duplicates and merge them many times.

Since update, my iPhone 3 and iPad give me a mail server error for one of my email accounts. It says I have to correct mail settings, but I always use to get this email before.

I receive a "cannot get mail" message when my iPhone and iPad try to retrieve one of my email accounts. Since updating, it says to verify account information in mail settings. I haven't changed information.

Rarely data and settings are corrupted during an update. What happened when you verified the mail account settings as suggested? Even if they appear OK, I suggest deleting and reinstalling the account.

Outlook 2010 - One of My Email Accounts Keeps Archiving/Deleting Emails

I have three email accounts on my one Outlook 2010 program. This problem is only happening to one of them.
At the end of the week (Friday) I close out of my email. Whether I use my email again over the weekend doesn't matter, come Monday morning - all the past emails in that one account are gone. I'm not sure if they are being archived or just deleted. I checked
my Archive settings and I have it set on "Do not archive items in this folder."
Not sure what I need to do, the settings on this one problematic account appear to match the settings on my other two (which are not experiencing this problem).
I would appreciate any feedback/help.

What type of email account do you use (POP, IMAP, MAPI or Exchange)? Do you mean it's a weekly recurring problem?
Any tools/add-ins on both Outlook client and mail server side, which might backup emails weekly?
You might also want to check if there are any corruptions in your Outlook data file, try to use
scanpst.exe tool to repair your data file:

In order for me to send the email. I have to go to the outbox and resend it from my other email adress. How do I fix that?

You could move them into folders in Local Folders.

Can I have more than one iphone per email account?

When my son got his iphone 4s I used my email address since he didnt have one yet. I have since gotten an Iphone 4s also, but when I went to activate it I had to put it under another email account, since mine was used for my sons iphone, so I used my husbands. My husband now has an iphone on order and I was wondering if there was a way of having more than one phone per email account?

I would set up a new email for him. That will give you a new icloud account. Also any apps that he downloaded with your ID will forever be linked to that ID and can only be updated with that ID. If that is a problem then you might delete those apps and download them again with the new ID ( and if they were paid apps you need to pay again)
