One of my notes disappeared

One of my notes disappeared before my eyes.

This can happen when you delete your note on another device, that it disappeared before your eyes is just because your iPad updated the notes from the account you sync it with and was then deleted.

Some email accounts allow for note syncing. I would recommend adding the email account back to the device and turn note syncing on.

Notes disappeared while using inaccessible yahoo account, recovery mission

Nearly 3 months ago now I departed for my first of-age independent overseas trip to Vietnam. Shortly before leaving home the thought of losing my iPod notes (where I keep all of my important information) during the trip comes to mind, so I scramble to see whether my iPod is backed up with itunes in the case that the iPod gets stolen or lost. I do a new backup for safety (23/11/14)
When I'm at the airport waiting I have a fiddle around with the notes settings. Virtually all of my notes are located on a yahoo 'account' within the notes. I didn't particularly want to use yahoo but I just went with it when they started saving in there automatically several years ago. The yahoo email account it is linked to is one that I hadn't been able to get into for a very long time, so when I saw in the settings that I could change the 'default account' to gmail (the email I actually use) I went for it. I go into my notes and they've all disappeared, excluding one from before the yahoo account existed, located instead on the 'on my ipod touch' account. The yahoo account has disappeared from the accounts page on the notes (http://puu.sh/g4y51/6ea6558e4b.jpg). I try switching the default back to yahoo but my notes don't come back.
Since I was leaving for overseas and couldn't check my computer for the backup I did, I opted to try and recover my yahoo email acccount to see if my notes had saved there. I manage to get in and when I do, the notes section has only 4 notes from years ago, including that one note from the 'on my ipod touch' account (the other three I believe were deleted notes from the same time period). I more or less give up in the hopes that when I get back home all of my notes will be saved onto iTunes. When I get back I download the iphonebackupextractor program and check the backup from the day I left (23/11/14) and in the notes section there is one note only. It's that same note that was not wiped from the ipod and was in the notes section of my yahoo email account. iCloud did not have any notes saved. I've added the yahoo account back in Settings>Mail, Contacts & Calendars>Accounts but the only notes in the account are the 4 that synced to the email. I imagine that the hundreds of others didn't sync because I hadn't inputted the password for such a long time (there was nothing in the password section in >Accounts), that being because I didn't know the password.
Have these notes simply vanished? Has anyone encountered something like this before? I would really love to have these notes back as it is the product of my thoughts during the coming-of-age section of my life (17-18 especially). I am now very skeptical about the stock notes app's reliability and am interested in any good alternatives anyone might know about where I can backup to email accounts and my computer with ease, separate notes into folders, and whatever other good features you think I could find handy.

I seem to have a double iCloud sync going as I have two of everything in my Notes. When I try to delete one copy, they both disappear. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Thanks

Further to the above I have now discovered that I have two iCloud accounts in my notes so there are two icloud folders !!
If I delete one, then all the notes are deleted from the other one. If I move all the notes from one into the other then the empty one is populated with two of everything !!
Dont want to uncheck Notes in iCloud as there is a drop down box that advises that all notes will be removed from my Mac if I take that action
Not sure what to do now !!

Dock icons will not disappear when I drag them to desktop or trash

On my MacBook Pro, when I drag an icon from the dock to the desktop or to trash, it bounces back to where it was on the dock. I tried to move Applescript Editor, AppleWorks 6, Keychain Access, Activity Monitor, Quick Time Player and several more icons and they all did the same. Each icon that will not disappear, has a blue dot reflection underneath it.
I moved one of the icons without a blue reflection to the desk top and it did go up in smoke, but as soon as i replaced that icon from finder back to the dock, it also had a blue reflection under it and I could not make it disappear again.
If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it. Thank you so much,

You're only supposed to drag icons out of the Dock if you want to remove them from it; running applications won't disappear immediately but may do so when quit.
If you're trying to put icons on the desktop, find the items in the Finder and drag them there with the Option and Command keys held down.

Problem with Delivery due list VL10b for STO's - Orders not disappearing

We have a problem where some 'Stock Transfer orders' are not disappearing from the delivery due list VL10b
Collective processing of documents due for delivery - Purchase orders
hence we have had two deliveries created for one STO order, which in turn has been goods receipted
Any ideas on what the cause of this problem could be ?
The quantities have not been changed on the STO
Please help

The video I am watching this guy is just dragging every line to make curves. And every anchor point is a corner. He is not switching back and forth between the pen and the anchor points tool, and he is not using the convert points tool. He draws a curved line and starts another straight line only to curve it with a click and a drag. It is super efficient, and I could save a world of time if I could figure out what he is doing.

Icons in finder do not disappear when deleted

This is kind of hard to describe, but my finder's been acting really strange lately. Everytime i delete a file or folder in the finder the icon will not disappear completely, leaving some of the name of the file in the finder. This is really annoying, and it makes it look like the file is still there, even though it's been deleted.
If I just click one time on any of the icons, only the first line of the file's name will be selected, which makes it hard to read the file's name. Ive been searching the forums for an answer to this issue, but I still havent found anything.
Any ideas? thanks in advance

I'm afraid to say that all of my notes disappeared yesterday, on my iPhone and iPad because they were connected by iCloud. I guess they are in the great blue yonder somewhere. The annoying thing is that I am a songwriter and use notes to jot down lines as they come into my head.and suffice to say that I have lost a great deal of material. To make matters worse, I haven't even updated my phone to ios6, only my iPad not wanting to put all of my eggs in one basket so to speak.

This is weird. A single note will disappear in Notes and I can't find it in iCloud where it is supposed to be backed up! What gives? I did NOTHING to make this note disappear. I did not delete it, only made a new entry.
This was a VERY important note that I stored information that I cannot afford to lose.
Please, someone tell me that I can find it again...somewhere!
By the way, this has happened before. Just a random note, disappearing, never to be found again.

My wife uses Notes VERY extensively and has accumulated literally thousands over the years, from recipes to lists, etc. She is a very organized person. Occasionally she'll work on a note and come back to it the next day only to find it's mysteriously disappeared. It's been a problem ever since Notes was shifted over to iCloud rather than saving locally on the iPhone or iPad. It frustrates her to no end!
Is this a bug that Apple's aware of and just doesn't care about fixing it? It's a phenominal app when it works but it's sadly unreliable. Like I said, this only happens occasionally, maybe one out of every 15-20 new notes or so. And no, she doesn't sync notes with Yahoo or Google. Only iCloud.

After backup/sync to computer, some of my notes disappear from my phone and are found on my computer in a folder on my personal email account. How can I transfer this information back to my phone in the Notes section where is was originally?

BTW, I believe the reason why the note I needed was the only one not saved in my Gmail "Notes" folder is because it was the only note created after my Gmail account encountered suspicious activity therby causing my iPad to require a password update.
Once I switch email accounts, the note was lost (hopefully not forever) since my iPad didn't have time to receive the updated password info from Gmail and push the latest note to the notes folder.
I'm convinced this is what happened and caused the problem. I just need someone to crack my case for me!

Marketing/Sales Online Classifications will not disappear

Whilst making updates to Classifications, we noticed that a classification category entitled 'Product Event Role' will not disappear from the Classification Categories Lookup, even though all associated codes have been End Dated and Disabled.
Our understanding is that Classification Categories should disappear from the LOV if there are no enabled Classification Codes associated to them. We have not encountered this issue end dating Class Categories and Codes before.
Path to reproduce:
Contact Management Online User -> Find a Person Record -> Click on the Classifications link in the left hand side tool bar.
In the Categories drop down you will see the Role in product or event decision making (which is the meaning for Product Event Role) and it should not be there as there is no Active Class Codes.
Anybody know why i can't get rid of this class category (i have no trouble with other ones).

Is the mouse connected directly to the Mac Pro or a third party hub?
And have you tried a different USB port?

Just for a little expansion of DonGuerneville advice. To turn NOTES off as he states:
1) Go to SETTINGS
2) go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars
3) Under account to the top right of your screen, go to EACH account listed here.
4) you will get a pop-up window which will list the following:
Mail
Contacts
Calendars
Reminders
Notes
Next to each entry is an on/off switch. Here is where you turn OFF the Notes.
If you do NOT do it for all Accounts listed they most likely will disappear into the accounts that were NOT turned off.
One last point. When my Notes first disappeared the first place I looked into was my Yahoo Account and they were NOT there. Three weeks LATER is when they first appeared. Why they delay, that is the new mystery....
